Summary: A tribute to a fallen star
Review: I have to say that this is one of my favorite movies of all time. When I got my DVD player, this was the first movie I got. It shows just how tragic the loss of Brandon Lee was, as he proved in this that he was more than just an 'action' star.

The setting is a dark drama that has plenty of pulse racing action, while at the same time it is also a love story. Energy packed fight scenes will truly amaze you, as they are choreographed at a pace that will rarely be scene again. At the same time look past the action and you will see and feel the love and the loss in this. The music is also a great addition to the story, as it seems to capture the scene and only enhance it.

Based on the comicbook of the same name, it is one of the best of such adaptations to ever be brought to the screen. It stayed true to the story and the flavor, and didn't cheapen itself by taming itself to pander to the kiddies like Spawn did.

<MINOR SPOILER BELOW>

The story is of a man and woman slain on the eve of their wedding by a gang of lowlifes for a trivial matter. This pain carries over with him to the other side, and makes his eternal rest impossible. So he returns to revenge the deed, so he can finally rest. The twist is, he is already dead, so he doesn't need to eat, or sleep. This also makes him almost unstoppable, as how do you kill a dead man? That trick is the ending of the movie, so that will be left out, but it stays with the mythic story line and flavor nicely. He proceeds to find each involved in the slaying one by one, and exacts a fitting revenge on each of them.

Summary: Gothic describes it.
Review: Brandon Lee plays a man bent on revenge (after returning from the grave). This movie is probably one of my favorites, with some very disturbed bad-guys, a kind of "Dark City" feel and a lot of graphic violence.

The soundtrack is cool (if you like heavy metal) and only adds to the mood of the movie. All in all, I'd say pick up a copy of this one if the above sounds good. You won't be disappointed.

Summary: 5 stars is not even close!
Review: Well considering what I would have to say would take up more than 1,000 words I am not even going to try! I will simply say this.........if you have seen it you already know it is one of the greatest movies ever made and Brandon Lee delivered a more than spectacular performance that made his name a legend. If you haven't seen it.......my friend YOU HAVE BEEN DEPRIVED! This is a must see if not for the heart wrenching love story, the magnificent fight scenes, and the dark, gothic, vengence filled plot..........then for Brandon Lee's last great performance! He would have made (pardon my language) one HELL of an actor. Maybe he would have surpassed his father if not for someones careless mistake.

Summary: A tremendous surprise
Review: When I first heard about the Crow, I knew it was a low-budget film adaptation of a cult comic (read: a comic no one's ever heard of). So when I rented this movie, I wasn't expecting much. Why? Usually, low-budget film adapations of comic books aren't very good (i.e., Captain America, the Fantastic Four, the Punisher).

However, I was shocked and greatly surprised when I popped this film into the VCR and watched it. It had a great, charimatic lead actor: Brandon Lee. A guy who would have become a great action film star, I just know he would have. He had the right look and screen magnetism like Tom Cruise or Harrison Ford.

Anyway, what a great movie! Great action sequences. Touching love story. Developed characters. Creativity on the part of the director. A good film score. Overall, it is the third-best, comic-book adaptation ever, behind only the first Superman movie and Batman Forever.

Pick this movie up today. You'll enjoy it. I'm sure you'll watch it several times the first day you get it. If the X-Men movie is anything like this, then the X-Men is going to crush the box office in July. Let's hope the people making the X-Men studied this film closely . . .

Summary: What needs to be said?
Review: This movie is high in my Top Ten of "All the World has to see this Movie" list. It is a Masterpiece of everyone involved, it has one of the most touching plots of all time, why am I writing this? You all know it! If not, you miss one of the greatest movies of all time!

Summary: The Man Dies, But The Legend Is Born
Review: "The Crow" is Brandon Lee's best movie of all time. It has action and romance. The movie is tragic, that can only be surpassed by the actual death of it's star. It's dark, but yet, beautifully poetic film with gothic symbolism and a deep storyline. Lee's acting ability really shines in this film, where we can see him pouring out his soul in every scene. We also see his incredible physical abilities when he goes up against T-bird's gang, he truly has great martial arts abilities. "The Crow" will always be remembered as Brandon Lee's greatest movie, thus spawns a birth of a legend. "Buildings burn, people die, but real love is forever."

Review: I really can't praise this movie enough. It is just the ideal movie. It was so pure and it really took you to a higher level thjat most movies just can't. Even though it is considered a "goth" classic, people of any type will love this. It is a classic story about revenge and love and really puts your small problems into perspective. It made me think.

Summary: One of my all time fav's
Review: The Crow had to be the first film to accurately portray the gothic sub-culture. The movie is great and original, and the acting superb. You get to feel Eric Draven's angst against the hoodlums who murdered him and then raped and did likewise to his wife. Anyway, RIP Brandon Lee
