Review: Great flick!!!This is one of the best movies from the 70s. Kris Kristopherson plays "The Rubber Duck," the leader of a truck convoy across the U.S.A. The convoy communicates via CB radio. For those of you old enough to remember, CB radio was huge in the late 70s. When the speed limit on highways was lowered to an overly oppresive 55 mph, truckers (and most other highway drivers) snapped up as many CB radio systems as they could - they would communicate via CB whenever they saw cops. Convoy is all about these disgruntled truckers and their CBs. Kris Kristopherson fights back against the cops and takes his convoy on a cross-country trip. Kris is the most aggrieved of the bunch - Ernest Borgnine plays a cop who sets false speed traps just so he can harass Kris and give him tickets and grief. However, one the convoy is set in place - nothing can stop The Rubber Duck or his cohorts - Pigpen and Witchy!!! This is a great "feel-good" movie from the 70s. I highly recommend it!!!

Review: The great Convoy, starring Kris Kristofferson, Ernest Borgnine, and Ali MacGraw is now available on DVD.... It's a great movie with lots of action, trucks, and cool jargon. I saw this movie when I was 10 years old and was ecstatic to see that others haven't forgotten it either.

Review: I too saw this movie when I was young and I loved it and with my dad being a truck driver makes me love it even more... It has great music and great action scenes. I really do hope they make it available on DVD. This is a movie that I will always love to watch.

Review: THIS IS A MOVIE OF TRUE EVENTS WHICH HAPPENED IN THE LATE 70'S AND EARLY 80'S, IF YOU FIND THE VHS COPY OF CONVOY IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO VIEW. I THINK THE STUDIO NEEDS TO THINK OF THE YOUNGER GENERATION AS WE WERE AND MAKE A DVD COPY WHICH WILL LAST THE TEST SO OTHERS CAN ENJOY A REAL CLASSIC TRUCK'IN MOVIE.
JUST CONSIDER THIS FOR THE VIEWER'S WHICH ENJOY A GREAT MOVIE AS THIS.

Review: I remember seeing this movie at the theater when I was a kid and I'll never forget that classic climactic scene of Kris Kristofferson's character driving that truck and all you see is just the closeup of his sunglasses. It was so cool and I hope they finally release this on DVD.

Summary: A great story, great movie, and great song!
Review: I saw "Convoy" when I was little...about 6 or 7 I think, and I loved it! It inspired me to want to be a truckdriver when I grew up...but that was among the many things I wanted to do. Anyways, it's a great movie! The cinematography is fantastic, and Kris Kristofferson gives a great performance! I am looking forward to the DVD and can't wait for film facts, interviews, and maybe even a "making of" section in the DVD extras!

Review: This movie brings me back to when my father was a truck driver. He was also in the demolision derby and his car was called rubberduck from the movie and it had Donald Duck on it. My father passed away six years ago and I would really like this movie to come out on DVD so I can share what my father and I shared so many years ago with my daughter. This movie makes me cry and my heart sing. It's about joining together in a cause they believe in and a kinship they are apart of. This movie is being missed by a whole new generation because of the high VHS price and the fact that it's not on DVD and should be. Who knows how long we will have these actors to add what they thought about doing the movie or what it was like...

Review: I watched this great movie when I was 15. Since then I watched at theatres maybe 20 times. I got a british original vhs copy 2 years ago. And I watched 5-6 times more. I'm expecting a good transerred DVD version with extra featurettes. This old movie deserves a good transfer. Sam Peckinpah's editing and shots are perfect! This is one of the greatest movies of this director. You can see him as a camera operator in the movie as well. The music of this film perfect (C.W. McCall). Let's wait and get this movies DVD version and ENJOY, really.
