Review: The good news is that CONVOY is on DVD in widescreen. The bad news is that its running time is trimmed. On my VHS, it clocks in at 106 min. Amazon.com lists it as 110 min, the DVD case says 111 min. The actual running time is 103 min--3 min less than my VHS. For a Peckinpah movie, 3 minutes are important. You can guess where seconds were snipped.

Review: I absolutly love this movie! I am personaly a fan of C.W McCall who sang Convoy which the movie was based on but even without that connection its a great movie with some really exciting action and great crashes all in all get this movie its woth it if you like classic cult action movies

Review: This is such a good movie I loved every second of it from the first scene sceaming acorss the desert for years I knew of this film but neaver paid much attention but what a mistake that was.This film has some great crashes and reasonable acting all in all a great cult classic

Summary: Awesome Movie
Review: I saw this movie when I was around 7 or 8 years old and it was great. It even made me want to be a truck driver until I got older. It has just about everything you look for in a movie: Comedy, Action, and drama are the main genras this movie has. Kris Kristofferson (Rubber Duck) is great. There hasn't been a movie that had him in it that I didn't like (Blade, Blade II, Fire Down Below, and Payback, with Stallone just to name a few. So if you have never seen this movie, just on the actor/s in this film will bring up memories and get you to love this movie.

Summary: widescreen, but not correct widescreen
Review: This DVD is close, but no cigar. The movie should be 2.35:1 widescreen,but the disc is 1.85:1. The picture has been squeezed as well to make it fit, giving the movie a weird appearance. They should have either made it pan & scan or else made it the correct aspect. Either one would have been preferable to this version. I can't recommend it.

Review: I too recall this movie with fond memories . . and the title song still rings in my ears . .
I've being trying to get it in Australia, but now I can see why I can't.
Perhaps the distributors will see the demand for other regions soon !

Review: I am glad to see that Convoy is finally being released on DVD. It is the best trucker movie of all time and I cannot wait to get my copy. It is about time!

Review: This is the ultimate trucker movie. It has everything you need, semis, women, and wrecks. Not to mention comedy. Kris and Alie are perfect for their roles. Earnest plays a great bad cop too!
