Summary: script by Quentin Tarantino, destroyed by Oliver Stone
Review: This movie has its moments but they are rare. Oliver Stone could have left the script alone and the movie would have been better for it. Who knows what he's trying to say with this? The movie was not worth the time to try to find out. Do your self a favor and stroll over to the comedy section you'll be glad you skipped this one.

Summary: killer dvd but. . .
Review: Comparing the R-Rated version to the directors cut is like comparing a butter knife to a steak knife.I first saw this movie as an r-rated rental and loved it. I immediately knew this movie was going to be the citizen kane of the nineties. I mean look at these reviews its either 1 star or 5. Citizen Kane got the same if not worse reviews when it came out. The same can be said for Disney's Fantasia (1940).The directors cut is my absolute favorite film of all time. Nothing can compare to this onslaught to the senses. The music is incredible and stones drug hazed perception of society is dead on.Additions to the DVD is obviously the commentary but wheres the 9 inch nails vid and the introduction to the movie? Anyone who is as obsessed about the movie as I am I highly recommend a book called 'Killer Instinct' by Producer Jane Hamsher.

Summary: A modern masterpiece!
Review: NBK takes you on a fantastic cinema journey on the roller coaster of modern day, tv-mania, media-hyped shallow society. It's great man! Some hate this movie and some love it. I, for one, absolutely loved it. Oliver stones most original piece of movie history. Buy it!

Summary: One of my favourite movies
Review: I was pretty surprised to see all the negative reviews about this movie, although I agree it's certainly not everyone's cup of tea. The movie is filmed in a very... unique way. It sometimes switches to slow-motion quite suddenly, or becomes black and white, and then back to colour.

The plot line itself may not be overly original, but the way it is presented more than makes up for that. I can surely say that I have never seen anything else like it. :) At any rate, 'Natural Born Killers' developed quite a cult following, so you know it can't be as bad as the other reviews make it out to be. I'd say it's definitely worth watching!

Summary: Weird -- but it didn't have to be.
Review: It was only after watching Natural Born Killers that I could fully appreciate why Quentin Tarantino (who wrote the story) and Oliver Stone (who directed the movie) fell out over it. It's obvious that the story has a lot of potential to be made interesting (I can think of comparing it to From Dusk Til Dawn, also written by QT) but sadly it failed to reach that potential this time. I blame it on the director.

For some reason, Oliver Stone chose to give his version an "arty" feel (perhaps to give it his distinctive touch) and there are a number of places in the movie which seem "strange" to the point of spoiling my enjoyment. Another reason why I disliked this movie could be due to Woody Harrelson's acting. I've sworn never to watch another movie with him in it.

Rent it if you must, but I wouldn't recommend buying it. It's not repeat watchable.

Summary: My NBK DVD didn't work
Review: what the hell is up with the dvd? it reads it as a dvd but nothing plays.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: quite possibly the worst film ever
Review: "The thin line that divides art and trash is not only broken here but burnt to a crisp.

Summary: At last the real version of the film
Review: For international customers, this director's cut is much the same as the general release version in Australia. But it's all the extras that make it worth owning. Aspiring film-makers will learn much from director's commentries - but never as much as the insight Stone gives us to this bold film.

Summary: masterpiece of murder!
Review: I love oliver stone and he is defintely one of the best and most contversial directors of all time. I think no one but oliver stone and Quenteen tarantino could make a master pice of murder like this one.I think in a major way its like a clockwork orange in the 90's life style with a great sountrak to go along with it.I belive people who say this movie causes volience and provokes people to murder are finding a scapegoat to express their anger at the real voilence in society. The movie is great go get it! .And a another great couple movies from oliver stone is "Platoon" and "On any given sunday" I really do hope a natural born killers 2 will come out someday.

Summary: ONE OF THE FEW GREATEST MOVIES FROM HOLLYWOOD
Review: THIS IS REALLY GOOD MOVIE PROBABLY BECAUSE IT COMBINES QUENTEEN TARANTINO'S TALENT OF MAKING UP CUTE DIALOGS AND PLOT AND OLIVER STONE'S TALENT OF EXCELLENT DIRECTORING. THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE DVDS AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE (ALTHOUGH THIS MOVIE MIGHT BE INAPPROPRIATE FOR WEAK-MINDED PERSONS - TOO MUCH GRAPHIC VIOLENCE - BUT THAT'S JUST THE EREALITY OF OUR TIME) DVD HAS SOME GREAT EXTRAS : MY FAVORITE IS DELETED SCENES WITH COMMENTARY OF OLIVER STONE OF WHY HE DECIDED TO CUT THEM OUT OF THE FILM. THE FEATURETTE IS ALSO DESERVES THE SPECIAL ATTENTION - SO DO NOT HESITATE AND BUY IT . YOU WON'T REGRET
