Summary: EDGY, DARK AND SEXY
Review: I have always had an unearthly fascinaion for the "bad boys" and Brandon Lee as "The Crow" definitely fits the bill in this movie. The graphic death scenes only make you wish someone like him could come back and seek justice. The soundtrack is so edgy and the movie itself reminds you of a "Batman" movie except it is less "funny" and more intense. I will miss Brandon and always wonder what he may have truly become in life besides a legend like his father.

Summary: ..about the Sexy, sinister and sensous VILLAIN
Review: Yes, I could say that it was tragic...the loss of Brandon...but enough with the cliche pertaining to this film.

One must watch this movie for MICHAEL WINCOTT who plays Top Dollar. The man is creepy, sinister, wicked, charismatic and sexy. I wish I was the Asian he was cavorting with in that film. This is just one of the many films that Mr. Wincott appears in which he showcases his psychotic best. He is the consumate villain: beautiful and magnetic.

Cheers Michael. I have enjoyed your work thoroughly this past years. I hope you get that role that will make you a household name...although...I like the cult status better, I feel you deserve the recognition...

Summary: One of the best Gen-X movies.
Review: This movie is one of the best movies for Generation X. The soundtrack is an iconic look of grunge music of the 90's. The movie itself is dark, and a bit depressing, but has it's morosely humorous moments and is very quotable. Not for the kids.

Basic storyline: Eric Draven and his wife are murdered on Devil's Night (the night before Halloween, and thier wedding day). One year later Eric is resurected to avenge his murder.

Some notable things: Brandon Lee (Bruce Lee's son) was killed on the set during shooting. This movie used several breakthrough digital effects to fill in the missing scenes. The end credits dedicate the move it Brandon and Eliza. Eliza was Brandon's soon to be wife.

This movie is a must. I watch this movie every Oct 30th. It holds up very well to viewing over and over. If you are a fan of the movie, the special edition with deleted scenes and making of documentary are worth the extra cash.

Summary: A fitting send-off for Brandon Lee
Review: As with all good movies, "The Crow" is more than the sum of its parts. You could classify it as action, revenge, supernatural -- but it is really a love story, set against a background so grungy and gothic it looks like the Boulevard of Broken Dreams after an artillery boimbardment. The city (Detroit, sort of) is a decaying, rain-swept sewer run by an occultist crimn lord... who sends his goons to murder good-natured guitarist Eric Draven (Lee) and his fiance... Cut to a year later, when Draven bursts out of his own grave on a quest for some serious payback... "The Crow" is an extremely dark, bleak, bleached-out film, set to a sly, sinister rock-grunge soundtrack, but the overall message is actually sappy -- that love triumphs over all. The contrast works, and while Lee may not have been a great actor, he had more charisma than he knew what to do with. I can't think of any other actor who could have pulled off such a complicated role, alternating from tenderness to bloodlust and back, without batting an eye. The idea of a soul reaching out from beyond to right a wrong and meet up with his lost true love is poignent enough, and Lee's tragic demise only adds to that emotion. Bottom line: whatever its flaws, this is just a damn good movie. Period.

Summary: Dark, Gothic, Creepy and Cool
Review: The Crow always has beeen and always will be one of my favorite movies. Brandon Lee was just amazing in this movie. The film is action packed, and it is THE best directed movie ever (it only slightly beats Blade Runner), but it is also very poetic. It's true this movie is violent as hell, but the violence is justified. He isn't just killing people, it's justice. this has been a cult classic for me since the first time I saw it. Visually stunning, incredibly acted and oozing with style, this is one movie no one should miss.

Summary: Best movie, period
Review: This is like a cult classic for my friends and I. The movie is brilliant and extremely memorable. Brandon Lee was hot. The soundtrack's great.

Summary: Good but...
Review: ...no trailers. If this is the definitive version I want trailers. The lack of DD5.1 is also a problem. You get a DTS track and a Dolby Surround track but no DD. What's the problem? You can remix it for DTS but not DD?

Anyway, the deleted scenes are pretty cool. The commentary is lame 'cause the producer takes credit for *everything* in the movie.

Otherwise this is a good movie & the transfer is awesome.

Summary: An strong revenge fantasy thriller.
Review: On October 30th, Musican Eric Driven (Brandon Lee in a Standout Role) and his Fiancée are brutally murdered by a bloodthirsty gang. A year later, Eric has come back to life from the grave to haunt back. the people who killed him and why.

Directed by Alex Proyas (Dark City) made an strong terrific revenge fantasy thriller, which is familiar story. Based on a Comic Book by James O'Barr, which in someway is actually on a true fact on O'Barr life. This film is a monumentally beautiful, haunting poetic work of art. Sadly Brandon Lee died on the movie set before near finishing the film. An cult classic. Grade:A.

Summary: One of the greatest movies of all time!
Review: Words can't describe just how great this movie really is and at last they have released a collectors edition dvd of this fine film, it's a two disk set and it stacked out with fantastic extra's for die hard crow fans. It will always be remembered as the final movie Brandon Lee ever made (he was killed under suspicious circumstances on the set of the movie) they were just about to wrap up filming and only had a few shots of Brandon to get before he died when a blank bullet was shot off at close range leaving Brandon dead, as they were so close to finishing the film was still able to be completed. The movie is a touching story of love, death and revenge. The movie is complete with great fight scenes and a touching moral to leave you grabing for the tissues. I can't recomend this movie enough, In your life you will only see a few films that change the way you look at the world forever... This is one of them, Check it out!
