Summary: Bad print of a great movie.
Review: Sure the disc is jammed with extras, by the audio track is culled from multiple second hand sources (including a TV dub) and not the original release print. Give us the original audio PLEASE! Be warned, the dialogue changes are EASY to notice.

Summary: The Best from Romero
Review: In the 80's, one of my favorite things to do was turn out the lights and watch a horror movie. I guess I am still a kid at heart because it is still one of my favorite things to do. This was one of my favorite films from the 80's.
Although Romero fans think this was his weakest film, I prefer it to "Night of the Living Dead" and "Dawn of The Dead".
Yes, the acting is cringe worthy and the plot is slow moving. However the zombies are excellent looking and there are lots of jumps and scares.
You will actually root for "Bubba" the captured and trained zombie.
The movie is slow moving but once the finale rolls around, it will all be worth it.
The zombies find their way into the underground habitat of the survivors and wreck havoc on the humans. From the moment the zombies start descending on the platform to their victims below, it is full throttle. But it is very graphic from this point on, weak stomachs beware.

Summary: How could it NOT be a classic?
Review: This movie has all the key elements a great zombie movie should have. Tons of gore (done by the greatest special makeup effects artist EVER, Tom Savini), a great director (one of the best, George A. Romero), and cannibalism! But seriously, this movie is one of the best zombie movies I've ever seen. There's a thick cloud of isolation throughout the entire movie, which gives it a darker atmosphere than the first two in the trilogy, but it doesn't necessarily take away from the film as a whole. It may not be as much fun, but it does make for some great cinema. The effects in this movie are some of the best I've seen ever, and I've seen ALOT of zombie/horror movies. Tom Savini is the greatest special makeup effects person ever. I'm truly convinced. I mean, you just look at the films he's done. This is one of his best examples, though. From the first zombie you see (mr. jawless, as I like to call him), you know you're in for a sick, disgusting ride, but you also know you're gonna enjoy it. This is what horror movies should be. Mr. Romero, thank you.

Summary: DAY OF THE DEAD
Review: In the final installment of Romero's trilogy, he takes a somewhat sympathetic veiw towards the walking dead. He shows us that zombies can be human, and humans can be scum.Awesome effects, and genuinely scary. To me, this is the best of the three films.

Summary: Boring And Overrated
Review: Day Of The Dead is somewhat slower and not as effective as its precessor Dawn Of The Dead, but still delivers some gore from the great Tom Savani. I didn't like the pace of the movie and also the acting of the soldiers was really annoying, plus picture quality was below average and sound was anywhere from blarring loud to soft. Lastly a group of researchers studying the behaviors on zombies and being ordered by the military trapped underground in missile silo just gets boring and looses its touch. Also the movie wastes to much time getting to the action and gore that would have kept the viewers attention.

Summary: FUNNIEST AND GORIEST OF THE ROMERO TRILOGY
Review: IF YOU CAN TAKE THE OVER THE TOP GORE IN SOME SEQUENCES, YOU WILL HAVE SOME OF THE FINEST HUMOR IN ANY ZOMBIE FILM YOU ARE EVER LIKELY TO WATCH. THERE ARE SOME SIDESPLITTING LINES DELIVERED BY JOE PILATO AND FRIENDS THROUGHOUT THIS MOVIE, AS WELL AS THE OVER THE TOP COMIC PERFORMANCE OF "BUB" THE ZOMBIE
IN HIS ENCOUNTERS WITH CAPTAIN RHODES. IT ALSO PACKS A HAPPY ENDING FOR SOME OF THE CHARACTERS WHICH IS A RARITY IN ZOMBIE MOVIES. DON'T THINK TOO MUCH AND ENJOY A ROMERO ZOMBIE MOVIE

WITH GREAT SAVINI FX. IF YOU CAN DO THIS AND ENJOY A LAUGH OR TWO WITH IT THEN "DAY OF THE DEAD" IS FOR YOU.

Summary: They must be mad, this is the best of the trilogy!
Review: Of Romero's three living dead films, Day of the Dead is absolutely the best (at least if you're an adult.): best leading lady and support characters and of course the best gore and thrills (after all, that's really why we watch these films).

Summary: Awesome movie, buy it now for DVD!
Review: I would very much like to buy this movie on DVD someday. I have probably one of the worst copies of it on tape where in some parts run like mickey mouse. It sucks. This movie is so good I could never get sick of watching it. For a couple of reasons, a)character development b)mind-blowing story c)awesome gore effects that are literaly perfect in everyway. This movie I can see would really need to be watched on DVD, so you can get the widescreen edition, incredible sound, picture, and resolution. This movie is great because George A Romero is a great director by all means. There just isn't ever going to be story telling like this again. He truly is a genius!

Summary: another hit for Romero!!!
Review: George Romeo does it again with the final installment in his zombie trilogy. This time, the zombie's have taken over the world. Only a handful of survivors are known to exist and they consist of scientists and the military. Living in a underground shelter, the scientists are conducting tests on how to handle this phenomenon. The soldiers protecting them are not on the same page as the scientists(this is obvious throughout the film). But when the soldiers find out that the bodies of recently deceased soldiers are being used for experiments, the results end up being some of the best special effects by makeup genius Tom Savini.A good ending to a good horror series, hopefully there will be another installment( a rumor a heard not too long ago....don't be mad if I am wrong). Good plot and great special effects....what more could you ask for in a horror film????
