Review: I have owned this movie since I was in the nineth grade and have since gone throught three copies. I have also been lucky enough to obtain a copy of the book which is no longer in print. This book and movie act like a bible in my life. I have passed it on now to many people who have touched my life as Maude touched Harolds. Create memories and adventures, use the quotes that you remember most in your life and pass them on to others, but most of all and allow Harold and Maude enter into your life.

Review: I want to be Maude when I grow older. The sense of life, both in essence and as part of a cycle, is nothing short of phenomenal in this film. The first time I saw it my hysterical laughter was quickly changed to tears as my heart was touched again and again. Simply hearing the words "Harold and Maude" makes me feel...everything.

Review: Harold and Maude is about the joyous quest for life. It is a truly satisfying and stunning film. Very few movies of this quality are made any longer. Nothing is an accident in this movie, everything has a purpose and you leave the movie VERY satisfied because of that. Hal Ashby gets it! Harold and Maude is indeed good for the soul.

Review: This movie is one of my all-time favorites. Its a wonderful story about life, love, and the love of life. The black humor is great, Cort's mock-suicides are morbid but very funny. The soundtrack is wonderful (if you like Cat Stevens as much as I do!). Definitely a must-see.
