Summary: hilarious
Review: This movie is great! Although it is difficult to tell whether it is supposed to be scary or not, it raises eyebrows. The shadow puppet scene and the soundtrack make this film awesome. It's the kind of film made for people who just want to relax and have a little laugh, not critique. Also, the music video at the end makes it all worth while!

Summary: A horror flim for the Kids
Review: Killer Klowns from outer space is a good horror flim for the kids because in is mild-violence but still has some great scenes for example in the scene where vetern actor John Vernon is being used as a puppet by one of the klowns to talk to the deputy that is a the best scene in the whole movie i think. It is a B-movie so your going to see little actors you know. The movie also as some funny scenes in it one i can think of is where Mikes the main charactors horny two best friends meet the killer klown chicks who are also horny. the movie is good and I think it is good enough to rent but i dont know about buying. features, great make up work, alright acting, and a somewhat good ending.

Summary: Slow starting
Review: This movie starts off way too slow, and I lost interest before I could get to any of the cool parts. Unfortunately, I'm the kinda guy that just can't fast forward, so I never bothered to watch the rest.

Summary: Oh wow
Review: If you like horror films, this might be for you.

This movie is hysterical. I mean, killer clowns? From outter space? OH BOY. With the sick, twisted aliens around, a small town is struck with the same fear of clowns I am. This movie won't scare you, but it is enjoyable, nonetheless. If you like the cheesey horror genre, this movie is for you.

Summary: An Instant Klassic!
Review: Killer Klowns from Outer Space is absolutely hillarious, and it gives weirdos like me the chance to bond with other weirdos about this weird film.

The film starts with a circus tent falling out of the sky and landing out in the forest. A race of bloodsucking aliens- which happen to look like circus clowns- proceed to attempt to take over the world. Sounds corny? It's supposed to be. You must remember that, at no point, does Killer Klowns from Outer Space take itself fully seriously.

During the course of the film, the Klowns turn people into cotton candy (or a cotton candy-like substance, so the film says) and load them into the spaceship for storage. Sometimes, the Klowns knock off people just for the fun of it.

Also, the music in Killer Klowns is spectacular. I recall replaying scenes five or six just because I liked the musical stings in them. The film's theme song is a hoot too.

The Killer Klowns experience is one in a million. If you're looking for a unique and original film, look no further.

Summary: I laughed more than I thought
Review: When I picked up this movie I thought sure-fire that it would be a bomb, but prone to watching a variety of movies and some of them less than good, I gave it a try with a dour demenor.

It was as coooky as I thought it would be but in the silliest way. Pop corn as tracking devices, a ballon dog, cotton candy body bags, and big silly shoes that leave flouresent foot prints. The acting of "Mike" and "Debbie" was pretty dry and the only one with spice was Mooney, but I gave them a little leeway on that as I was enjoying the comical effect of another "scarey" yet funny Klown.

"It" scared me more but Killer Klowns from Outerspace is a real hoot.

Summary: Korny! Komical! Kreepy! And a Klassic!
Review: Killer Klowns? From Outer Space? Actually, they are bloodsucking extraterrestrials that look like circus klowns who invade a Kalifornia kollege town and, using innocuous-looking circus props, spin local folks into kotton kandy-like kacoons to preserve them for later konsumption.

Yes, much of the acting is hammy and overdone. Yes, the premiss is outrageous, and yes, the actual plot is rather thin. But all that doesn't really matter; it only adds to the charm of this flick. Using an exaggerated blend of the same horror-and-humor mix that made movies like BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN and AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON such memorable classics, KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE is actually a hilarious send-up of both sci-fi alien-invader stories and horror splatter flicks. All in all, it's a very entertaining 1980s-era klassic replete with real thrills and genuine laughs.

The effects, props, and sets in KILLER KLOWNS are zany yet very cool eye candy, and the alien klowns are truly memorable and frightening villains. The Chiodo Brothers and their crew do a top-notch job in creating a genuine circus atmosphere, yet they keep the audience constantly aware that something sinister is lurking inside every circus ride, balloon animal, and ball of cotton candy. The eponymous killers exude this same dichotomy: At first glance, they look like goofy, brightly colored circus clowns, yet closer examination reveals that they are quite gruesome looking and downright scary. Anyone with a genuine fear of clowns (coulrophobia) will freak!

This DVD edition of this flick is a penny pincher's delight! Not only is it reasonably priced, but it comes packed with extras like deleted scenes, theater trailer, interviews with the Chiodo Brothers and other crew members, and much more. One of the most interesting extras is an 8mm home movie--complete with a fur-covered GI Joe villain--made by the Chiodo Bros when they were in high school! Anybody who was an aspiring movie maker in their youth will get a real kick out of that one.

This is definitely one of the best of the MGM Midnight Movie series. A must for any fan of B-movie klassics.

Summary: A Klownucopia of mayhem and humor
Review: Please, please, please promise that the rumored sequel is really going to happen. I have this on VHS and it's so badly worn I had to replace it with the DVD. The movie is just as funny (and scary) as I remembered. The deleted scenes were fun as were the other features. I would really have liked more of the Dickies though - their ep with the title song also included eep opp ork ah ah and I'd love to have seen that included here. even without it, these killer klowns deliver some killer laughs while using just about every clown trick in the book.

Summary: Unusual for a studio at any time...
Review: How this got made, I don't know. What I do know is that this was worth the $[PRICE] I paid for it. This is an absolutely packed DVD from MGM, with two deleted scenes, audio commentary, a feature split into five parts, a blooper reel, storyboards, a still gallery, and, oh yeah, the actual movie.

The movie itself is mostly notable for how good it looks considering the budget (which even back in the 80s was basically dirt) and the cheerfully cruel humor coming up with violent ways to kill people with circus equipment. Really, that's the reason to see this movie. Something to admire if you've worked with no money, and worth adding to your collection for the humor value.

Summary: B Grade Fun
Review: From the title you'd be expecting something pretty daft & not too taxing on the brain. This is what you get with KILLER KLOWNS. That said, this is a compliment. If you are a horror buff or just enjoy the odd helping of pulp this is well worth a look, though it might be a while before you decide to eat cotton candy again. PS: This review is not up to my usual standard as I have had a few beers prior to writing this. ARRRRGGGHHH!!!!
