Summary: So what if it has a few swear words? Get over it.
Review: Firstly, why do all people from Iowa get so upset by a few swear words? Does it really make any difference? If this movie offends you you must live a very sheltered life, in a nunnery prehaps? Yes, I do like the movie a lot, I find it vey funny and the characters are very sweet and touching in places. It's a cult film so you'll either love it or hate it, but it's deffinatly worth seeing, if only to find out which catagory you're in. Love and Hugs Will, England.

Summary: Boring!
Review: Why anyone cares what the idiots potrayed in this movie have to say is beyond me. Maybe it is a must see for Howard Stern fans or those so desperate to be "hip" or cutting edge they abandon their intelligence. Don't bother if you that doesn't describe you.

Summary: Hilarious - Uncut
Review: This is in my top 5 movies EVER. Clerks is the epitome of funny. Silent Bob created a masterpiece while only spending around $30,000. This is one of the 3 best comedies of the 90s (alongside Dumb and Dumber, There's Something About Mary) The only thing I could say about this DVD is to buy now, or be sorry later.

Summary: Nonstop laughter...
Review: I loved this movie. I'm from Jersey, so it's easy for me to identify with the characters here. Even if you are not from NJ, you should be practically pissing yourself from laughing. Judging from several of the earlier reviews, this movie does not play well in Iowa (I guess they just don't understand) but everyone else should love this one. Definitely not for kids, though.

Summary: THE BEST MOVIE EVER MADE!!!
Review: I really don't understand what everyone is talking about when they call this movie "moronic". Who the hell talks like that anyway? This is the best movie ever made! I'm in love with Jeff Anderson {Randal} and I'm not afraid to share it!

Summary: Brian Lynch & Vin' Pereia love scene reason enough to buy
Review: This scene, cut from the original for it's steamy passion, is enough to make this DVD my first choice for Christmas this year. Brian's portrayal of Kiki Derris the wise apple lover of Ethan Sups (Pereia) will bring tears to the eyes of all but the most hardened. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but when Kiki Derris said "I'm just a bitter overweight queen and nobody loves me" I wept.

Other highlights from the restored cut scenes were "Randal's Sexuality Revealed," "Ming the Asian Design Major and Dante Fight," and "Lenin's Tomb gets Run Over."

What may be the most impressive thing about this special edition DVD is not what was put back into the film but what was taken out. In the scene with the ambulance driver and "Dante," a completely new actor was digitally superimposed over the original ambulance driver a la Star Wars Special Edition. The superimposed actor, Eon Bailey, adds new life and real acting ability to the roll of "The Ambulance Driver." Eerily this is the only black and white scene in this colorized version.

I can't say enough about this DVD...buy!!! buy!!! buy!!!

Summary: Jay and Slient Bob
Review: Jay and Slient Bob make this movie what it is; the best comedy in the whole world. You can't have this movie without Jay and Slient Bob.

Summary: Kick A**
Review: This is probably my favorite of the Kevin Smith Trilogy. Being from NJ I know how true to life this movie is. It is pretty vulgar and is not recomended for children or baby boomers. But us "Gen X'ers" (great name eh) love it.

Summary: the BEST F***ING COMEDY EVER
Review: kevin smith could write eloquent monologues and glossed up scenes, he just chooses not to. and in the process of ignoring all of hollywood's guidelines, he has created the most entertaining work of art(it deserves more than just "film") i have seen in years. this is THE movie for those of you who are tired of processed hollywood cheese, this will leave your mouth free of the bland taste of corporate production. and try not to suck any d*** on the way to the parking lot.

Summary: Ahh refreshing
Review: A refreshing look at "real" life. I have seen what others have posted here about vulgarity and profane words and all i have to say is go @(*% yourself. Cursing is part of the real world. If this is a problem to you ... leave. I happen to curse my girlfriend curses my parents curse and I bet you do too. Now back to the movie and off the soapbox. Smith makes memorable characters and places memorable lines in the script so that no-one will forget them for a long time. 37?!?!, and the girl in the bathroom who has sex with the dead guy. Watch in good faith true believer as the first of the Jersey Trilogy begins...
