Rating: Summary: Good News On The Horizon Review: The long wait for season 2 appears to be nearly over! (see http://www.dugpa.com/ for details).
The international rights to the series revert to Paramount in September 2005 and the process is underway to create brand new transfers (a la season 1) and the greatly anticipated extras.
I, for one, can't wait to get my hands on them - my VHS copies (which were never that good in the first place) are now thoroughly worn out.
Let's hope in this instance that the Owls are what they seem!
Rating: Summary: Pleeaaaasseeee Review: I just recently bought the first season of Twin Peaks after being told about it from a friend. Being as i was too young to appreciate the superb story when it was aired on television. I havent even finished watching the (very short)first season, and im already yearning for the second. Four years is waaaay too long to wait to release the second season (and we probably wont see it for another four years *whine*). So come on you fat cats and release it already!
Rating: Summary: Release season two! Review: Please, give us all our pain and sorrow and release the second season. The fans deserve that much at least.
Rating: Summary: She's filled with secrets... Review: Other than watching that whiny James Hurley doing whatever, Twin Peaks is just the best thing ever to be on television. I have the c-r-a-p-p-y VHS version of Twin Peaks with Twin Peaks spelled out across the spine, and the quality is so poor it looks like watching dubs of dubs. I want this on DVD now, dang it! NOW! I can't wait. I requested no creamed corn.
Rating: Summary: Hurry Up! Review: I can't believe I'm actually writing this, but ever since Twin Peaks Season One come out on DVD, I've patiently waited and anticipated for amazon to post the release date for Twin Peaks Season Two. At least once a week, I would visit amazon's Twin Peaks Season Two link only to be disappointed. I mean, really, what the hell is going on with the studio? Why is it taking so long to release Season Two! Talk about royal fans to the show, why can they not be royal back! I think I speak for every dedicated Twin Peaks fan when I say this: Enough is enough. Seriously! Hurry up and release Season Two before a whole group of us (Twin Peaks fans that is) get together and start up our own frigin' studio, buy the rights and release it ourselves! And when the studio does finally release it, DON'T STUFF UP THE PACKAGING! You did such a good job of Season One! It looked fantastic!
Rating: Summary: "Is that bag smiling?" Review: We definitely feel your pain, Binfrog, so we figured we'd chime in & write a small review. As a veteran of the failed "Fire Walk With Me: The Director's Cut" write-in campaign, it's easy to feel pessimistic, but perhaps the more reviews that are written, the more likely they are to consider releasing "Season 2". In the meantime, I hate to use this review forum to pimp a song I wrote, [...]
Rating: Summary: I am going crazy! Review: I'm not one of those people who becomes obsessed with television shows, but Twin Peaks is an exception. Despite its flaws. it is definitely my favorite of any television show or movie ever created. I really need the rest of the series to be released along with a re-release of the pilot. I can only hope that this will help.
Rating: Summary: UPDATE... Review: From LynchNet.com:
The ever resourceful tvshowsondvd.com website is reporting that Lancelot Narayan had been hired to produce the extras for the Season 2 Twin Peaks dvd set. In an online discussion at the IMDB about another dvd release he's worked on, Narayan stated "I'm currently pulling my hair out working on the Extras for Season 2 of 'Twin Peaks'. If it's at all possible, 'Peaks' fans are more exacting than Trekers! I really want everybody that buys it when it comes out to be happy. In the end, you can only do your best."
