Summary: Cast aside your doubts, pre-order now
Review: You probably are wondering - is this going to be as good as I thought it was when I first saw it? Is it? Am I going to be disappointed? Is the studio going to simply cash in on us, sentimental folks, who want to recreate good times of 1990 when this was released?

Well, based on my experience with Season One, there is no need to worry. If there was ever money well-spent on recorded version of TV series this is it.

Honestly - I had my doubts before preordering Season One (the first time I EVER preordered something!), and boy did good times roll! You hear the title track, and it goes on better and better from there.

Everyone said that Twin Peaks would change network television forever. It did not: television stayed the same and Twin Peaks shines on like a crazy diamond, a seemingly unattainable standard of sublime script, masterful camera work, fine dialogue and breathtakingly indulgent casting.

If you liked the series, what's your excuse for not ordering this? By the way, on top of the usual series, Season One had some excellent additional content; I have been told this release will have more.

Summary: Bring on Season 2 of Twin Peaks
Review: We must have it! The most interesting and chaotic/wonderful series of its time.

Summary: GIVE US SEASON TWO!!
Review: Okay.. This cannot possibly be a review of the DVD, because it's not out yet, and that's exactly the problem!! I realize they just released Season One last December, but so far we haven't gotten even the slightest clue when Season Two will be on the shelves.. This is one of the most brilliant shows ever put on television. I was a teenager when I used to watch it with my Mom every Tuesday night at 9PM, and I haven't forgotten it since! Release, release, release already!!!

Summary: JUST RELEASE SEASON 2 ALREADY!!!
Review: David Lynch's films are notorious for not being available on DVD (e.g. Wild At Heart, Lost Highway), which is bad, but the fact that Twin Peaks Season 2 is not out yet just makes me angry! The VHS tapes are of very poor quality, and we Peakers need our fix!!

Let's keep adding helpful votes to all the reviews and just hope Artisan gets the message. (...)

Summary: It's so unfair!
Review: We've been waiting and waiting and waiting for Season 2 on DVD, but all we get are major hits like Friends and SATC or some low quality shows like 'The Simple Life'. I won't be surprised if utter balderdash champion 'The Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica' will be immortalized on DVD (hope not!)... It's just not right! I know lots of people who would buy Season 2 on the first day it would become available. The corporate folk definitely underestimate the rock-solid fan base here. GIVE us what we want, PLEASE!!! We NEED Twin Peaks Season 2 on DVD!

Summary: HURRY UP ALREADY!!!!
Review: I speak for everyone whos eyes have been blessed enough in the past to have viewed Twin Peaks in saying that "this show is the best, by far". Wonderful job on the season 1 dvd but come on, where is the second season already?! I have been waiting for the longest and although i've seen the second season on VHS and whenever i was like 6 yrs. old or something, I need it on DVD. Please, please speed it up!

Summary: Lynch's Genius - Fans' Frustration
Review: I am also a frustrated fan. I don't even have the luxury of having a set of crappy VHS tapes. I have not yet seen the television series from beginning to end. I have the original pilot, the first season, and firewalk on DVD, and have been patiently waiting for the release of season 2. I am pissed.
I don't know if this means anything, but I know that TP is a hard swallow for some people (who I think are just braindead anyway) but being introduced to TP the way I was may have been what caught my attention. I first saw firewalk before any other episodes, and the film made utter and complete sense to me. The interviews with the cast made it seem that the storyline when 'awry' for most of them. But watching the beginning after seeing the end... (or is that seeing the end after watching the beginning?) made me realise that the 'end' couldn't have occurred any differently. That show was well thought out, and the symbolism is gut level, as well as spiritual - and not just 'supernatural' as I've heard it described. I believe the whole story to be about the spiritual turmoil that results from abuse at the hands of those we trust the most, and the despair that results. Genius. Lynch is a genius.

Summary: Season 2 DVD is trapped in the Black Lodge!
Review: Write it in your diary...

I have been waiting for this DVD for so long now.. Even though I had the excellent quality Season 1 DVD, I had to get my "fix" and bought Season 2 on VHS, knowing fully that I would pay for the DVD of Season 2 when it came out eventually... I know other fans who did the same... This is the dedication we have to this show, the most brilliant work that has ever been on TV, one of the best works of David Lynch who is one of the most brilliant artists of our time. This needs to be available to the fans of his work in the quality afforded by current technology, DVD. Come on now...

Ayse Pinar Saygin.
