Summary: More funny than the law allows
Review: This movie is way to funny, and you only realize this after repeated showings. It literally gets more laughs every time I watch it.........Most memorable scene?........Tex Cobb blowing up the cute little bunny with a hand grenade.....or was it the brothers leaving the baby in the middle of the road?.....OK THEN!!

Summary: My Name Ain't Nathan Arizona
Review: Funniest movie of all time. Ever

Summary: it was all right
Review: After watching The Big Lebowski and finding it one of the funniest movies ever, this was kind of a let down. John Goodman was great though, and was the high point of the film.

Summary: My all-time favorite comedy!! Totally flawless.
Review: I dare anyone to tell me a better comedy than RAISING ARIZONA! Great concept, outstanding writing and direction, and superb action, from Nicolas Cage and Holly Hunter down to Randall "Tex" Cobb. A Coen masterpiece!

Summary: This film is a howl
Review: John Goodman ought to get 5 to 10 for stealing this film. The best line from the film is "You never leave a man behind" after he leaves Nathan Jr in the bank. What happens next will leave you in stitches.

Summary: I can't stop laughing! :)
Review: I've seen this movie many times, and never get tired of it. There are so many memorable lines. "Government do take a bite, don't she?" The characters are so alive and crazy! The storyline is even crazier. It's one of the best movies I've ever seen, and I can never forget HI's hair!

Summary: you need to give the film some time to love it
Review: I've just bought it and I am sure I'll end up loving it just like the other Coen movies I own. But the first viewing was a kind of disappointment. Only seeing it for the 2nd and 3rd time(it was a weekend) was I able to appreciate the gems scattered all over the movie. The question I ask myself is do I really like this film or having invested 30$ in that DVD I convince myself I have to like it? It's evident you can watch Coen's movies on different levels and the reviewers who advice us to rent Moonstruck to enjoy the romantic comedy will probably see Miller's crossing as a "gangster movie". I am not sure where to place it and the twing of hopes not fulfilled is present. Anyway it's a film to see if you are not a fan of the visually sophisticated idiocy like Blade or Star Wars Episode 1 or Julia Robert's "romantic comedies".

Summary: Anyone found bipedal in five wears his @$$ for a hat
Review: This movie blows up into funny shapes which require an appreciation for the non-sequitur, for pop-culture satire, for movie history, and, generally, for choreographed absurdity. There's a lot of repeat-viewing value here, and I always see something new when I watch this near-perfect and trail-blazing comedy.

FWIW, when John Goodman finally wins an Oscar (why wasn't he nominated for supporting in "Lebowski"?), it will be the fourth actor in Raising Arizona to achieve the feat in his/her lifetime. The Coens probably aren't finished in this regard either.

OK then.

Summary: The funniest comedy!
Review: I've seen this one since high-school or so, I couldn't help myself laughing whenever I know that H.I. got in jail because of that stupid reason and so on, well, stupid but funny. However, I've seen this for over 20 times, and I still enjoy this movie pretty much!

Summary: Wow...
Review: After seeing this on DVD in its original aspect ratio, I will never watch it any other way. This is the first time I've seen it this way since its theatrical release. The transfer is superb! The sound okay, but who cares? No trouble hearing the dialogue through my center channel (which is all that really matters with this film). See Nicolas Cage when he was a real actor.
