Rating: Summary: not very good Review: Antz just isnt as good as a bugs life, period.Dont wast your money
Rating: Summary: Too violent for PG rating Review: This movie should have been rated PG-13, like "Small Soldiers" was, instead of PG. If you are considering buying this for younger "Starship Troopers" (rated R) like battle between the ants and the termites, including the death-farewell with the decapitated head of ant Z's war buddy.- The beating and interrogation of ant Weaver. I'm passing on "Antz", and adding "A Bug's Life" (rated G) to my children's collection instead
Rating: Summary: A GREAT MOVIE Review: I think this was a GREAT MOVIE!!!!! It was very funny, and you got to see at least a little bit of what it is like to be an ant. I also think the graphics are GREAT!!! I recommend this movie to anyone over the age of 9!!
Rating: Summary: woody again proves he is an true spirit of fun Review: Antz was a magical movie. All of the Hollywood heavyweights give touching, funny, extraordinary vocal performances. A must see for adults and children alike. I give it more than five stars, it deserves 10!!!!
Rating: Summary: really buzzzzzzzzzzzzzare Review: This is a wonderfull movie I really liked it I saw it with my cousins and they liked it too. but this is a very well done movie and recomend this movie to you.
Rating: Summary: Top of the line CG animation, with a story. Review: ANTZ is a movie that is geared towards an adult audience. I was thinking of taking two of my younger cousins to the movie and am happy that I didn't not. I personally feel that the movie was great fun and the CG was amazing. The story was interesting and for Dreamworks first animated production I felt they did quite well. I don't think that Dreamworks focused in on you taking your children to see this movie, because they might of changed it and/or got rid of the in-depth discussions. If you want your kids to see this movie or a movie of it's kind then I would recommend that you take them to see It's a Bug's Life or buy it when it comes out.
Rating: Summary: Antz: Best Movie of 1998 Review: Of all the movies we payed money to see in 1998, the best was definitely Antz. Antz featured incredible 3-D animation, a well-written screenplay, and great voice work from Woody Allen, Sharon Stone, and the rest of the all-star cast. Also, Antz appealed to both children and adults more than any other movie last year.In conclusion, if your kids are crying out for you to rent a movie, rent Antz. It is in a class by itself.
Rating: Summary: An objectivistic Woody Allen movie for kids Review: Picture a children's Woody Allen movie that has cutting edge animation and a screenplay that could have been written by Ayn Rand or Neil Peart, and you have Antz. Antz is a children's action/adventure movie, but its ideas appeal more to adults. The protagonist of the movie is "Z" whose voice is provided by Woody Allen. He learns the powerful ideas of individualism and thinking for one's self, as well as how one person, or insect, can make a difference.
Rating: Summary: NOT FOR KIDS Review: I bought this for my kids and I was NOT happy when I heard cuss words and watched this video. Adults may like this video but I WOULD NOT ever reccomend it for kids.
Rating: Summary: Actually I give it a 2.5 out of 5. Review: Not that impressed with this movie. I really just could not get into this movie. It was kinda boring in parts and at I times just wanted to shut it off. A little annoying. The cast was good having Gene Hackman, Christopher Walker, Sharon Stone and Sylvester Stallone. But even they couldn't save this movie from my CRAP LIST.
