Rating: Summary: It should be called EATING NEMO. Review: If I sit through Finding Nemo ever again, I swear I will shoot myself. It is probably the worst movie I've ever seen, with jokes that lead nowhere. Althought the animation was pretty good, a cutsie aspect was terrible and pretty unbelievable. Monsters Inc was better for the kids and adluts. Im sick and tired of people saying that Finding Nemo is the best Disney....ARE THEY FORGETTING THE LION KING and other classic such as Beauty and The Beast, Aladdin and Sleeping Beauty.
Rating: Summary: Terrible Moviegoing Experience (for me) Review: I took my neighbor's kid to see this a while back. This movie pretty much ruined my night, and I will tell you how. We went to the theatre on a Friday night while I was babysitting (he was like 4 years old at the time by the way). It was a little warm out so I stopped and got us each a Big Gulp. That was my first mistake. This kid drank an entire Big Gulp of Mountain Dew on the way to the theater (which I later realized contains a very high level of caffiene which he is not allowed to have). He said he didn't have to go to the bathroom before the movie, so I guess you can see where this is going. The theater itself was absolutely freezing, and this kid complained about it the entire time. The movie was a little boring and looked really fake. You could tell it wasn't real and was just a bunch of silly puppets, but he was only 4 so I guess he bought it (I hope he doesn't really think fish can talk). Bla Bla Bla, the fish gets lost or whatever, lots of talking, then BAM! Shark Attack, and the kid screams and immediately proceeds to dive under the chairs, and come back up with his pants soaking wet. Great, kid. You said you didnt' have to go BEFORE the movie, so now you decide to go DURING the movie. Later on the movie whipped this kid up into a caffiene frenzy, and he takes off his wind-breaker and starts whipping it around his head, and it hit this kid behind us and the zipper tagged him in the ear. The other kid's mom gave me a dirty look, so I tried to explain that my neighbor's kid wasn't very smart because he is only 4, but then I didn't want to start an argument so I held back my tongue. The worst part actually came when the movie was finally over and we went out to eat at McDonalds. I thought it would be cute to order the kid a fish sandwich since we just saw a movie about fishes. He took a couple of bites and asked why it tasted so bad, so I simply told him what it was. So then the kid, no joke, starts throwing up all of his fries, and what I guess was a whole lot of mountain dew all over the chair and the floor. Then he gets seriously mad at me and does the now-vomit-covered-windbreaker frenzy. He was mad because he thought I was trying to get him to eat one of the fishes in the movie or whatever. He refused to clean it up or eat the rest of his sandwich so I just took him home. We tried to have a discussion about the difference between his sandwich in the movie, but he simply said "I hate you" (great argument, kid). In conclusion I would NOT reccomend this movie due to my awful experience with this bratty kid. Also, as I mentioned earlier it looks kind of fake. Later.
Rating: Summary: The Most Hilarious Animated Movie Ever: Finding Nemo Review: I'm 14 years old and I love this movie. It was one of the best movies ever. All my friends loved this movie. Everyone should see this movie. If you're 5, 15, 35, 75 or 105 you should see this movie. It's about this little fish, Nemo who gets taken from the ocean to a dentist's office. Then his dad has to find him with the help of Dory and all the great characters he meets along the way. This movie is great!!
Rating: Summary: Brilliance Once Again... Review: Brilliance once again. Simply stated. Weather searching for a quality movie to watch with your little ones, or you are looking for a good movie to make you and your sweetie laugh, this is the movie for you. The subtle (and some not so subtle) adult humor will put you through fits of gut wrenching laughter. Pixar has worked wonders with their amazing animation...the colors and detail will awe you. A must have for your DVD collection.
Rating: Summary: Comes From The Heart Of Disney Review: Finding Nemo is about a goldfish living in the ocean named Marlin, whose wife and eggs are eaten by a swordfish one day. He is knocked unconscious and wakes up to find only one egg left. His wife liked the name Nemo, so he decides to name his last egg Nemo. One day, while at school, Nemo goes and touches the "butt", but he is picked up by tow scuba-divers. His father searches for him, while meeting new friends on the way.
This movies is so funny and sweet, that you forget how dumb the idea of it is. I really liked this film as a movie and an experience of an animated ocean that is truly unforgettable.
Rating: Summary: ITS OVER OKAY SHUT UP! Review: THIS MOVIE WAS REALLY GOOD THE FIRST TIME BUT AFTER YOU SEE IT AFTER THAT ITS ANNOYING. I'M TIRED OF IT. ITS TO OVER RATED. SHUT UP ALREADY!
Rating: Summary: One of the best animated classics ever Review: I went to see this movie in the theaters probably a little over a year ago, maybe a year and a half ago, and I wasn't expecting much actually. I fell in love with the movie, though. I must admit, I'm not a big animated movie sort of person. Sure, all the Disney movies are great to watch with kids, but there are only a few animated movies that I would watch by myself. This would be one of them, along with Lion King, the first Toy Story, and maybe a few others.
This is a funny movie. I love all of the fish. They have such great personalities, and they are so unique. You have to fall in love with them right away. I would highly suggest this movie to anyone of any age. I think you will really like it.
Rating: Summary: One great movie! Review: This movie is for all ages! I am in my twenties and I loved it the first time I saw it and watch it all the time still. It is also great for kids as it keeps their interest.
Marlin is very overprotective of Nemo who is his only baby survivor after his wife and other eggs were eaten by a shark. Nemo hates that his father is so protective so on his first day of school Nemo is testing the waters and his father sees that he is swimming where he is not allowed. To spite his father Nemo keeps swimming and gets caught by a Scuba Diver. And taken to a dentist office where he meets other fish who were also caught. It also introduces us to a mean little girl who is rough with fish and kills her's. The dentist is giving Nemo to her (his niece) because it is her birthday. The other fish try and free Nemo before he heads to the toilet. And Marlin meets up with Dory and they go on an adventure to find Nemo. This movie is full of laughs and bright beautiful colors. It is also great for adults as you will get jokes the kids don't. I think Nemo is great because your whole family can watch it!
Rating: Summary: DENTIST SHOULD SAY SOMETHING! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Review: I'M VERY CONCERN ABOUT THE IMAGE THAT THIS MOVIE SHOW ABOUT THE DENTISTS. DOES ANYBODY CARE ABOUT THE MESSAGE THE WRITTERS OF THIS MOVIE ARE SENDING TO OUR KIDS? WE ARE TALKING ABOUT PART OF OUR HEALTH. I THINK THEY MADE A BIG MISTAKE INCLUDING IN A KIDS MOVIE A PART WHERE A DENTIST PLAYS A ROLE SO NEGATIVE. I REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY ANY OTHER PARENT IS WORIED ABOUT THIS ISSUE. DENTIST SHOULD SAY SOMETHING!!!!!!!
