Summary: My Favorite Movie
Review: This movie is already a classic, with a terrific cast, an oscar-winning screenplay, and one of the most memorable soundtracks ever. AFI also voted it one of the 100 greatest movies of the century. Even though it won only 1 oscar, most people will say this was the best movie of 1994. As for the movie, there are so many classic scenes I can not pick a favorite. The DVD is bare bones, and I hope they make a Special Editio disc with the Laserdisc feature's and maybe a commentary in the near future. Right now your better off with the VHS version because there are some bonus scenes on their that are not on the DVD.

Summary: Excellent film w/ more twists than you can shake a stick at
Review: This is truly a fun movie - if you haven't seen it then you shouldn't read any further - because if you know all of the story it really does take away from the experience - when I first saw this in the theaters I really wasn't sure what I was in for - and BLAMM-O ! ! ! What a treat and a wild ride.

Summary: Mslnk's 5-Star Winner
Review: The most unusual script and sequence of events to be written in years orchestrated with a perfect selection of oldies... I've watched this film noire about 10 times. The acting? Samuel Jackson - superb! John Travolta - probably his best. Bruce Willis - excellent, but stereotypical of the characters he has played. The only bad actor is the young lady crook in the diner scene (don't care to know her name). I recommend this film in DVD format because of the sound quality that can't be matched in VHS. You gotta get it for your film classic library.

Summary: excellent comedy/action/drama film
Review: okay, first lets start out, this is not a kids movie by anymeans. There is an earfull of swearing, sexual content, excessive violence, and loads of drug abuse. But this movie is fantastic!!! If you like Bruce Willis or John Travolta films, you will enjoy this. This is a film separted as different stories, yet at the end they are all connected. Tons and tons of stars. Bruce Willis plays a struggling boxer, John Travolta & Samuel L. Jackson are hitmen, Ving Rhams is a mobster, Uma Thurman is the mobster's wife, Christopher Walken palys a war hero, Harvey Keitel is a specialist of some kind that gets rid of evidence of murders, Tim Roth is a robber, and many, more stars. So do yourself a favor, rent this!! It is one of the best films ever!!!

Summary: Going With The Consensus.
Review: Well, it seems to me that it's pretty common knowledge that this is one of the best films of the last decade, so I'll be focusing on the DVD itself. Video is great, sound is great, features are lacking. Aside from the movie, there's not much to play with. I realize that a lot of studios want to get their bigger movies on DVD, but a commentary from Tarantino and a few members of the cast would have been divine. Go to sum up, great movie, great cast, great video/audio, no features. We can only hope they'll re-release it with a few extras (COMMENTARY.), in which case we'll all be rebuying it gladly.

Summary: over-rated
Review: This is the most over-rated movie of the 90's. For some reason it hit a zeitgeist of the time. Only about a half hour of the movie total is good. The rest is tedious, contrived "". I guarantee, GUARANTEE, that Quetin Tarentino will never be involved in a film that takes in over $100 million again. It was dumb luck that PULP FICTION caught on like it did. If you want to see a great L.A. film noir movie, see MEMENTO.

Summary: *****
Review: 5 stars alright! For the fact that I have found a movie that I can say with confidence is "the worst movie ever made." Violence for the heck of it. No depth, nothing...

Summary: PULP FICTION: GREATEST CRIME MOVIE EVER!
Review: Pulp Fiction may seem confusing, but if at the end of the film you feel confused, watch it again. When Pulp Fiction came out in 1994, it not only caught people's attention, it blew up in thier face! Tarantino became an instant genious, and the movie, a classic. The film is one story about three stories, showcasing a brilliant cast, with John Travlota, Sam Jackson, Uma Thurman, Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, and Bruce Willis. The brilliance of the film lies in Tarantino's ability to create likable characters doing very unlikable things. The strong suit in the film is the dialogue, which is hardly ever related to crime, showing that even criminals have real lives. Named on AFI's 100 years, 100 movies as one of the best films in the last 100 years! It truely is a must see, and a movie to be watched a hundred times.

Summary: Tarantino's finest hour
Review: Quentin Tarantino's best film ever, The cast are all good, the story line is great and Mia Wallace (Uma Thurman) is very fetching indeed. All those die hard Tarantino fans should own one of these

Summary: Masterful Movie Marred by Lack of Special Features
Review: The yang to _Forrest Gump_'s yin in 1994, _Pulp Fiction_ was Quentin Tarantino's breakout movie, drawing waves after waves of eager viewers to the theatre without the marketing bonanza of the Tom Hanks feel-good fiesta. Dark, sometimes disturbing, and altogether different, Tarantino's masterpiece broke all the rules of how to make a blockbuster movie, with tremendous relish. Unfortunately, this DVD does not do such an outstanding film justice.

_Pulp Fiction_ is still here in all its letterboxed glory, and anyone who hasn't seen it yet should do so. Tarantino's acting is the only performance that does not border on amazing, and Tarantino can be forgiven for that for writing such tremendous characters, gritty dialogue and avant-garde plot. Unfolding the storyline in a non-linear fashion works wonderfully, creating a tremendous climax at the end of the film and adding more to its mystique. Some may not be able to follow the story because of this, and others may not be able to stomach the abundance of violence and dirty language, but for those who can, the movie itself is cinematic gold.

But _Pulp Fiction_ enthusiasts looking for the "royale with cheese" DVD treatment will not find it here. Despite releasing both laserdisc and VHS editions of the movie filled with extras, the DVD features only an alternate Spanish audio track. The absence of special features, especially for a movie with a large established cult following, is almost unforgivable, particularly as they were already there to be added.

If you have not seen _Pulp Fiction_ yet, or you absolutely have to have a DVD copy of it now, purchase this disc. If you can wait, however, Miramax should release a "special edition" laden with bonus features soon (if they have any sense), and you should save your money for that.
