Review: This is, without a doubt, my favorite movie ever, and this is also my favorite DVD ever, even tought Tarantino didn't record a Commentary track for this DVD, the Enhanced Trivia Track makes up for this (even tought most of the info in the trivia can be found in www.imdb.com) It has a lot of interviews and shows related to the movie, it has a few deleted scenes, a great transfer both in audio and video... and heck... it's PULP FICTION, if you don't buy this I don't know why you've read this far.

Summary: A Royale with Chesse
Review: O.K this movie was a good movie don't get me wrong, basically its about Hitmen and various other people that meet there fates over a few days.

Parts of it are very funny and you find yourself growing attracted to the characters dispute the fact that they are mostly bad guys

I really liked the part in the diner with the two robbers(the pros meet the wannabes kinda thing)

However I finished watching this movie with the same feeling I got watching "Natural Born Killers". For some of these scenes what the heck was the point?

The most glaring case in point for me was the whole Zed/Butch/Mahshalus sex scene. Now why was this scene even in the movie? I know people don't take this film literally but it still ticks me off(check out where I'm from). What if a guy never travled below the Mason-Dixon in his entire life and only saw "Pulp Fiction"

Review: Pulp Fiction is a movie that you never get tired of. It's very memorable, yet you forget enough of it to make you want to see it again. The characters also draw you back to the movie. John Travolta, Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, and Uma Thurman all give the performances of a lifetime in this classic gangster hit. Christopher Walken also gives a minuscule but memorable cameo. Like with its predecessor Reservoir Dogs and its follow-up Jackie Brown, Quentin Tarantino uses his signature unconvention structure. Although both are good, neither have achieved the level of perfection, as well as the considerable cult following, that Pulp Fiction has.

Pulp Fiction is not as much a story as it is a series of short stories that intercept each other somewhere in the middle. The story basically goes like this; Butch Coolidge, a boxer, is told that he has to take a dive during a certain match by a gangster, Marcellus Wallace, but ends up literally killing his opponent. Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield are sent to kill Butch, but Butch already skipped town. Meanwhile, Marcellus is out of town and tells Vincent to take out his wife Mia and to show her a good time. This turns into a fiasco when Mia snorts some herione she mistakes as cocaine and loses conciousness. Meanwhile, a pair of robbers/lovers, Ringo and Yolanda, are sitting in a restuarant planning their robbery of the place, and at the same time, Vincent and Jules are sitting in the exact same restaurant. Meanwhile, Butch's girlfriend forgets Butch's father's gold watch before leaving, a watch that his father had with him all through the war thanks to an especially unpleasant orifice on his body, which is explained in a particularly hilarious flashback featuring the above mentioned Christopher Walken. Sound confusing? Trust me, it WILL make sense.

Well, all in all, this is a contemporary classic that anyone, particularly film fans, will enjoy and be fascinated with. Pulp Fiction is a rare experience.

Summary: Pulp Fiction -- A Director's Movie for those who like movies
Review: I always felt that the best storytellers were those who didn't tell their stories in a simple, point A to point B chronological fashion. I also feel that the best storytellers don't fill in all the details of their story. Often, there is a backstory that gets the characters to where they need to be, so that the audience is grabbed by the story, and they think, "Wow! What is going to happen next?"

Pulp Fiction is told by a storyteller, Quentin Tarantino, who does exactly what I think the best storytellers do. Pulp Fiction is a movie that makes you sit up and take notice when you were telling yourself, "This movie is uninteresting. I'm not paying attention."

By the last scene of the movie, I had felt like I had spent my afternoon with these characters, and from the director's non linear storytelling method, I could tell that the movie would end up where it began.

Although extremely violent, this film has a twisted sense of humor. Taking into account what would REALLY happen in most of the situations presented in Pulp Fiction, the consequences would leave many more people dead, or arrested by the police. The title of the movie describes the content of the film well.

There is a lot to admire in the small ongoing details about Pulp Fiction. What I liked the most was the music, which was like an additional character of the film. I loved the part in the movie where Vincent Vega and Mia Wallace are in the Jack Rabbit Slims Restaurant, and she is describing the Fox Force Five TV Pilot that she was in. When viewing this movie, listen to the music playing as Mia describes this TV show. With the background restaurant music as a character, I could see the TV Pilot in my head as she was describing it.

This special edition offers more than the original DVD release. DVD was meant for directors who want to present their movie, and say, "Hi, I'm the director of this movie, and this is how I made my movie, and this is what I like about movies that I put into the film I made." With the subtitled commmentary for the film, I was hoping to find out what was in the briefcase in the second scene in the movie. The commentary states that the director, Quentin Tarantino, does not want to give this detail away. He has left this detail to the speculation of the the people watching his movie. The commentary goes on to say that there are many websites dedicated to what might be in the briefcase. Leaving this detail out of the movie has certainly grabbed the attention of those who saw this film.

Several times, the subtitled commentary states that Pulp Fiction is not really violent, and that most of the violence occurrs offscreen. However, I think that this film really shouldn't be seen by children. It is definitely an adult movie.

Summary: Absolutely Brilliant!!!
Review: This is one of those movies that you need to watch more than once to get the full effect. This movie is brilliant. The first time you watch it, you made get confused because it jumps all around but I guarantee you'll want to watch it over and over. The characters in this movie are brilliant and very well done. It'll soon become one of your favorites.

Summary: One of the greatest movies ever made
Review: The thing that appeals to me the most about this movie is the dialogue, it's quotable, memorable, hilarious and even makes you think. It's hard to believe two hit men would have a discussion about divine intervention and whether a foot massage means something. I've watched this movie countless times over and over again and i still find things i laugh at or missed the previous time. In almost any scene the movie has the quality of trying to figure out how these characters are feeling and the acting is superb. I wish Samuel Jackson had won an award for his performance, he deserved it far more than travolta. Samuel carries every scene he's in and is the glue that holds this great movie together. This movie has classic moments if you don't look closely you'll miss, like watch the look on Jules face when Winston Wolf tells jimmy to make him a cup of coffee. If you not looking in the background you might miss it, this movie is full of things like that and it's definetly a MUst own movie. If you don't own this already buy it from Amazon.com NOW !

Review: This movie is a classic, start to finish. Wonderful weaving of stories, characters, lives. Masterful use of actors to their fullest degree. If you don't like this movie...well, you probably like "Summer School" a little to much.

Summary: The trailer was probably better than the movie---what's new?
Review: Except for a few classic movie moments, this was pure trash. Tarantino and Lynch certainly have a thing about making totally unwatchable movies based around a few second long scenes that randomly pop into their heads. If you hack this all up, and arrange it into a three minute long trailer, add some cool music (but leave out the commentary), you have your grand masterpiece. Unfortunately, what should have lasted only a couple of minutes was extended into a full feature film. But then again, I didn't really care much for the main actors, so it had one strike against it from the very beginning. No, I shouldn't say that. The beginning had me hopeful. Mainly thanks to Tim Roth, who stirs up great memories from high school of watching Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. The opening scene is also a teaser. And Pulp Fiction ends where it began (nice touch), with a cafe hold-up. Minus the delightful dancing of Juliette Lewis, of course, replaced, scenes later, with Uma Thurman. To this day, when ever I hear that song "Girl", or whatever the heck it is called, guess what comes to mind?

Review: Be Careful! if you sit down to see "Pulp Fiction", there's a big chance you won't be able to get up in the next two and half hours, or so. Anyway, great movie, interesting, funny, very nice to watch.
Good players, good plat and an amazing director - Quentin Tarantino, with a small but tasteful performance (as Jimmy). Pulp Fiction is absoulutely one of the best movies ever made in the history of Hollywood. If you've already seen it, you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't seen it, what are you waiting for??

Summary: This one is a must own
Review: My first experience of Pulp Fiction was when i was only 12 years old in 1994. I snuck into it with two of my friends, not knowing what it was, but that i didn't like the movie i was already watching. I was blown away by the intensity and pretty much traumatized by some of the scenes.
I just watched it for the second time the other day and liked it so much, that i bought the Collector's Edition DVD. This movie is extremely well made and has extremely memorable scenes and roles by John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Bruce Willis, and Samuel L. Jackson. Samuel L. Jackson just owns the screen in all of his scenes as Jules, the gangster who undergoes a spiritual enlightenment. Tarantino also always finds the best music to go along with his stories. Pulp Fiction is a true modern classic.
And, if you don't quite agree, there are tons of bonus reviews and articles about the movie's importance on the second disc of material. Some of these articles are really interesting. Also, it is cool to see the extended scenes from the movie. There is also an hour long interview with Quentin Tarantino on the Charlie Rose Show which is very interesting as well as the Siskel and Ebert special which also has it's moments. The special features are definitely worth checking out which makes this a really good purchase.
