Summary: Terrible Plot, Miserable Execution, Poor Acting
Review: This is a terrible moive. The plot is not involving, the premise is very poor, and the acting is sub-par. There are so many holes in the plot I can't even enumerate them; why not _interview_ the witness? She's been browsing the rogues' gallery on your computer, so why not just have her hook you up with an ID?

The writing is terrible. The jokes are obvious and not funny. The plot drags.

The stunts are neat and the picture is very good; I enjoy the 16:9 apsect ratio. The sound production was great, too. But the content needs more than polished production.

Summary: OK, maybe (just maybe) slightly over-rated
Review: But I really enjoyed the catty and sarcastic back and forth of Will Smith's and Martin Lawrence's characters. For some, this may be a detractor and get annoying quickly. But for me, I was very amused by it.

This is perhaps director Michael Bay's best film. (Armageddon and Pearl Harbor were both wretched.)

An enjoyable film. Better than "Con-Air." On par with "The Rock." Good action. Funny banter and repartee. Although a lot of killing - what would you expect from a Simpson/Bruckheimer production though?

I know --- I've panned American Beauty, Magnolia, The Green Mile, Unbreakable, Wonder Boys, Cider house Rules (what am I forgetting? -- and now I'm lauding this movie? Go figure. It made me laugh. A lot. LMAO is good :)

If you enjoyed "Midnight Run" and or "Planes, Trains & Automobiles," then give this one a try. Or if you like Bad Boys, you may want to look into PlanesTrains&Automobile and Midnight Run. All have a lot of enjoyable banter.

Summary: "Will and Martin make a excellent tagteam"!!!!!
Review: I really love this movie because Martin and Will both light up the screen. Will Smith proves he can be serious, and Martin is just Martin (as always). I thought it was very highly action packed, and not boring at all.

Summary: Hilarious slam-bang hit
Review: After numerous times watching on free-to-air TV & recently saw this movie on DVD. The sound and image transfer are superb. The wild shootouts and explosions certainly provide effective rumbles. I will not go through the plot, but I like seeing this film which has plenty of hilarious one-liners, and high-voltage action scenes.

Summary: VICE redux
Review: Featuring Martin Lawrence, Will Smith and Tea Leoni, David (X-FILES) Duchovony's spouse, BAD BOYS manages somehow to be equal parts parody and tribute to MIAMI VICE, the 80's NBC "MTV cops" show. In some ways it goes its TV counterpart even better: Leoni is a much stronger female character than Gina and Trudy, VICE's lady cops, ever were allowed to be; and the two cops are both African-American (a rarity in what Spike Lee rightly called the racist "Hollywood Plantation"). There's even a reference to VICE: the surname of Lawrence's characther is Burnett, which was Sonny Crockett's undercover alias. However, there are some differences: you don't see the uber-modern drug-lord's houses and apartments you saw on VICE---intstead it focuses on South Beach with its Art Deco buildings and the hideout of the villians is in a burnt out hangar. All in all, an interesting 90's update of VICE.

Summary: Lawrence + Smith = Action Packed Thriller
Review: All that I can say about this movie is "Wow." I have seen this movie several times and has earned the number one spot in my favorite list of movies. The special effects and camera views for 1995 are immaculate. Especially during the last scene where the car chase was taking place. The camera view that sticks in my minds is where is shows the tire spinning, and you hear the outrageously loud whine of the engine, which compares to the beginning where Mike Lowry was driving the car right before they got jacked. This all out great movie will definetly not stay laying on the shelf, it will constantly be played guarunteed. Joey

Summary: Lawrence and Smith make a great team
Review: Martin Lawrence is a working-class married man and Will Smith is a rich bachelor with a new woman every night. What could they possibly have in common? Well, they are NARC patners. These 2 actors are great together, and the sparks fly on screen. They have awesome comic chemistry together.

After their career drug bust is stolen, they a small amount of time to get it back, with no leads. But after Smith's friend is murdered, her best friend who witnesses tries to contact him. it turns out the murderer is one of the men who stole the drugs. Tea Leoni, as the witness, contacts Smith, but gets Martin Lawrence on the phone instead. Afraid of losing her, he pretends he is Will Smith, and the rest of the film is about the 2 men trying to get the drugs back while juggling their identity switch and the trigger-happy witness, looking to avenge her friend's death.

Bad Boys is laugh out loud funny, and the action scenes are some of the best ever. This is a crowd pleaser here. The DVD transfer is equally good, with wonderful sound/picture quality, and a lot of good features.

Summary: Martin Lawrence is sooo tired
Review:

BAD BOYS
Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, 1995

Synopsis
Two cops go around using their attitude and their brand of policing to the streets.

My Review
Will Smith was way better on "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air". Martin Lawrence was never good. This movie is rated PG, which stand for "Please Gag me with a spoon".

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: GOOD CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THE TWO LEADS AS FOR STORY IT FAILS
Review: WILL SMITH & MARTIN LAWRENCE PLAY TWO BICKERING COPS WHO INVESTIGATE A BURGARLY OF A POLICE WAREHOUSE FILLED WITH CONFISCATED DRUGS AND MONEY. THE MOVIE IS GOOD JUST AS ALONG AS SMITH & LAWRENCE ARE ON THE SCREEN THE MINUTE THEIR NOT THE FILM WONDERS INTO A COMPLETE STATE OF UTTER BOREDOM, WITH CORNY ONE LINERS AND ENDLESS FLOW OF MTV DANCE MUSIC. I DON'T THINK IT WOULD BE WISE TO DO A SEQUAL TO "BAD BOYS" BECAUSE IF THE PRODUCERS DO MAKE A SEQUAL IT WILL BE A "BAD" CAREER MOVE.
