Review: A viewer from germany can choke on a sausage. Because this movie definitely isn't worth 5 stars. A five star movie is one that you can watch over and over and over again without ever getting tired of it. The Blues Brothers is a 5 star movie.But, 2 Days in the Valley is definitely a 4 star movie and that is something that should not be shunned. Watch it!

Summary: A laid-back, witty gem of a movie
Review: Exceptionally well-drawn characters and sharp, clipped dialogue more than make up for a plot which, when you think about it, is too ludicrous for belief. No single character dominates the movie, and in fact each is so interesting and funny is his and her own way that you can't wait for them to show up in their next scene. Among the best scenes: the hitman making pasta, and the cops and the massage parlor.

Review: Hard to say quite why this movie works, but it does. Wry dialogue, cleverly drawn characters, well-devised plot, a sense of comic oddness throughout. Certainly, there is a touch too much of Mr Tarantino about it, but it holds your attention to the end. Very fine acting, apart perhaps from the priggish Englishman.

Review: I agree that Charlize Theron was amazing in her star quality, easily eclipsing that of Teri Hatcher. And I also agree that Spader has a gift of introducing some beautiful actress to the world by having sex with her on screen. As a whole, all of the characters are laughably airheaded, and the sentiments are laughably maudlin, and the plot laughably contrived. But it's entertaining, and worth renting.

Review: I can watch this film over and over again and still it find it refreshing and fun. Very well casted and written. Where were the nominations for Oscar? This is one film that deserved to walk away with many awards but as usual Oscar overlooked one of the really great films of the year. Kudos to the writers, the cast and the director. Humorous, yet dark. Funny while sad. Too many great things to mention. See it for yourself and find out why I highly recommend it.

Review: I found this film to be absolutely fantastic! The story was interesting, the cast was intriguing and the humor/sarcasm was witty and unique. I found myself laughing at times just because of the characters' interesting behaviors. The film begins with a murder-for-hire. Eventually, the hit men and a wide range of other characters come together through coincidence and circumstance and are forced to resolve their issues while trying to escape from San Fernando Valley, California. The storyline of this film is a bit crazy, but the characters invloved are all excellent and hold the viewer's attention. James Spader is particularly good as Lee, a cold-blooded murderer who is obsessed with time, especially the importance of a single minute. This is definitely one of his best films. His acting in this movie is creepy, but fantastic. The rest of the cast was also really great and it was enjoyable to watch their lives play out. Another positive aspect of the film was the terrific score...I can't get some of the songs out of my head! Overall, this was a fantasic film and I highly recommend it to anyone who is in the mood to watch something that is really fun and hearwarming. It is definitely a must for fans of James Spader, but I think that it can be enjoyed by a wide audience. Give this film a try and I guarantee that you will enjoy it!
