Summary: Here we go!!
Review: Cheers The Complete Fourth Season is finally being released. Amen! I got the first three seasons the day they came out, had them reserved weeks in advanced, and I'm gonna do the same with The Fourth Season of the greatest show of all time. This is the first season with Woody Harrelson, as Woody Boyd, since Nicholas Colasanto, who played Coach died late in the third season. I will truely miss Coach since he was classic, and hilarious, but I welcome Woody Harrelson to the cast. He's hilarious too! The Complete Fourth Season of Cheers is phenominal. A lot of classic moments, including The Cheers gangs first mix up with Gary's Old Towne Tavern, at the bowling alley, and the classic three episode season ender when Sammy is dating the politician women Janet Eldridge, and at he end askes Diane to marry him. This season is also the first time we see Lilith. Cliffie, and Norm, and Carla are as hilarious as ever as well. So join the gang at Cheers for its classic Complete Fourth Season. I just read on tvshowsondvd.com that there are gonna be no extras on CHEERS or Frasier The Complete Fourth Seasons. But we buy Cheers for the episodes, so its ok with me. Cheers is still classic, and I don't need extras. The episodes are enough. I certaintly won't give it less stars just because of no extras. The episodes themselves merit the 5 star rating. So still join Sammy,Cliffie,Normie,Woody,Diane, and Carla, in a place where everybody knows your name.

Summary: Hopefully, Better Extras
Review: I hate to admit it, but the extras with the first three "Cheers" DVD sets weren't all that great. I sure hope the 4th season features are better. For instance, having someone say something on introducing Woody, instead of just showing a bunch of clips from various episodes, like they did with Frasier on the 3rd season set.

Other than that, I can't wait to get this DVD set. I think it'll be great to see Woody on DVD. I'm not buying the set for the extras, I'm buying it for the episodes.

Summary: Cheers is the greatest show there ever was
Review: I will be standing outside Wal-Mart at midnight on January 31st to get the first copy of Cheers Season 4. Remember when Diane left Frasier at the alter? This is where this season begins.

Cheers forever!!!!!

Summary: Farewell Coach,hello Woody
Review: In February 1985,Nicholas Colasanto who played Nick "Coach" Pantusso, one of Cheers' bartenders, passed away at age 61 following a long, severe illness. When the 1985-86 season, the fourth for Cheers, began Woody Harrelson joined the cast primarily to replace Colasanto. Harrelson is Woody Boyd who was undoubtedly much younger and more physically active than Coach. Other than Harrelson's inauguration into the cast, there were no changes amongst the other characters or their actions. Sam Malone(Ted Danson) and Diane Chambers(Shelley Long) are a couple again only to end up breaking up again. Carla Tortelli(Rhea Perlman) is still acid-tongued and often bitchy. Latecomer Dr. Frasier Crane(Kelsey Grammer) is welcomed back. Frasier was a hit character during 1984-85. Norm Peterson(George Wendt) is still chug-a-lugging. Cliff Claven(John Ratzenberger) is still delivering mail. Very often, either Cheers or The Cosby Show, another NBC sitcom also seen on Thursday nights, would take the #1 position in the Nielsen ratings. This is dedicated to the memory of Colasanto.

Summary: what a dumb show
Review: Nice promotion for alchohol and cigarettes. a show based on people without a life, nothing better to do but to hang out at a bar. the sad part is that there are real people that waste their life away hanging out at bars, ending up dead or becoming homeless brain dead alchoholics. Lousy show. go watch taxi instead.

Summary: "Nice promotion for alchohol and cigarettes." (laugh)
Review: No one on Cheers smokes -- well, save the problem Rebecca had with them, and ended up burning down the bar (sort of) because of it -- not exactly a ringing endorsement for cigarette use. Furthermore, Sam is a recovering alcoholic who went to AA.

Obviously, this person never saw a single episode of the series.

Anyway, the need for Paramount to link Cheers and Frasier together led to the long delay of the 4th season. The debut of Woody, but even better is the establishment of Frasier as a regular, with a bitter axe to grind for his being left at the altar by Diane.

Summary: Absolutely the greatest show ever. Period.
Review: The greatest show ever!! I think you have to be somewhat intelligent, to watch Cheers. Because if your looking for fart jokes, or something stupid like that, you won't find them in Cheers. Its arguably the most smartly written show ever. With the greatest cas ever. And the fourth season is classic. Unfortunately Coach died. I loved him. He was hilarious. but I welcome Woody, who is very hilarious also. A classic show, that everyone should own on dvd. Just as a side note Sam and Cliff are my two favorite characters. But I love them all.
