Rating: Summary: Purportless Review: "Twenty Bucks" chronicles the journey of a twenty dollar bill, traveling from person to person until it finally reaches its original owner. After reading about the movie's plot, I expected it to be at least somewhat exhilarating. Sadly, its most exciting part is when a man, in the process of standing up, inadvertently whacks a woman with his luggage. I don't know if I have ever seen a more pointless film. I've searched for some kind of meaning or lesson that it could have, and I cannot find one. This film failed to impress me.
Rating: Summary: Watch this movie! Review: Amazing things about this movie: 1. everybody's in it but nobody's heard of it; 2. anyone will like it, including Great Aunt Matilda; 3. high watchabiltiy, that is, you can stand to watch it more than once in your life; 4. it's really, really good.
Rating: Summary: Great cast, great concept Review: I have always thought that any movie with William H. Macy must be a great film (it's a benchmark that has rarely caused me dismay); once again William proves me right. Although Brendan Frasier has a prominent role, this film is creative, interesting and has some genius plot turns. This was on the "Bravo" channel a few weeks ago and I sure wish I taped it...too bad independant films go out of stock so quickly. If you can rent it -- do!
