Rating: Summary: Predictable, but hilarious Review: Eurotrip is brought to us by the same people who brought us Road Trip and Old School, and it's not hard to tell. Loaded with some predictable gags, ethnic stereotypes, and situations that could never ever happen in the real world; Eurotrip still manages to be the funniest film to be released yet this year. High school graduate Scotty (Scott Mechlowicz) takes off to Europe after being dumped by his girlfriend in search of an obscenely hot German girl who he thought was a guy. Along with him are three of his friends: Cooper (Jacob Pitts, who closey emulates a young David Spade, both physically and comically), Jamie (Travis Wester), and Jenny (Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Michelle Trachtenberg); all of whom travel from France to Amsterdam (naturally) and all over Europe getting into all kinds of mishaps. While Eurotrip occasionally borderlines on stupidity, you won't be able to help yourself from laughing. Featuring hilarious cameos from Matt Damon, Smallville's Kristin Kreuk, Lucy Lawless, and the always great Vinnie Jones.
Rating: Summary: The Road to Berlin Review: Four American teens have the wildest European vacation ever in the side-splitting teen comedy "Eurotrip". After a humiliating breakup with his girlfriend Fiona (Kristen Kreuk), Scotty (Scott Mechlowicz) learns that his German on-line pen pal is actually a beautiful girl, and sets off to Europe for a romantic encounter. Along the way, Scotty and his friends (Jacob Pitts, Travis Wester & Michelle Trachtenburg) experience the sites and cultures of the Old World with hilarious results. "Eurotrip" is a pleasurable laugh-filled teen sex comedy. The plot is fairly entertaining and the young cast is quite funny. Its outrageous sexual humor and raunchy comic situations make "Eurotrip" the funniest gross-out comedy so far this year. The film also includes some unforgettable cameos by Lucy Lawless (Xena: Warrior Princess), Vinnie Jones (Snatch), Jeffrey Tambor (Arrested Development) and Matt Damon as Fiona's new rock star boyfriend. "Eurotrip" Unrated Edition will satisfy your craving for raunchy sexual humor. The wild teen comedy is presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen format. The DVD contains a noticeably detailed video transfer with bright colors. The 5.1 Dolby Digital sound is well balanced and very enjoyable. Its supplemental features include two audio commentaries, the hilarious "Nude Beach Exposed", "Eurotrip Bootleg" and "The Music of Eurotrip" featurettes, unrated deleted scenes, an alternate ending with optional audio commentary track, a laughable gag reel, a photo gallery and some appealing unrated interactive menus with slight bits of nudity. With such funny extras and nice presentation, "Eurotrip" Unrated Edition earns a worthy "B".
Rating: Summary: Great Time Review: I really loved this movie, it's my current favorite. I missed it when it was at theaters but bought it because I thought it looked like it might be good and it was so much better than I even expected. Scotty and his friends have just graduated high school and go on a trip to Europe. I laughed through alot of it, it has alot of jokes about Europeans and the typical sex jokes. I really think it was funnier than the American Pie series, which I also enjoyed. I loved the robot fight, and Matt Damon in the band singing Scotty Doesn't Know was so funny, it's a great song to go with the movie. Kristin Kreuk made a great Fiona, the whole cast was really great. I liked Michelle Trachtenberg since her days on Buffy and the boys that are newcomers were really cool. Scotty is a cutie and a sweetheart and Cooper is really funny and bears a resemblance in look and talk to David Spade. Jamie and Jenny (Michelle T.) are the "worst twins ever". I love the Creepy Italian Guy and the Manchester United guys, they were all really funny. The music is pretty cool too, I went and got the sountrack after watching the movie so many times. The deleted scenes are excellent!! I think alot of them should of been left in the movie, they let you watch about 12 of them. My faves are Michelle trying to hitch a ride and the woman who runs the Amsterdam hotel. It also has a funny gag reel with it. I recommend this movie to people who love raunchy, funny teen movies.
Rating: Summary: keeps ya laughing Review: i seen this movie on dvd, and wish i had seen it in the theatre, everything that may go wrong, does go wrong and the hilarious mishaps..keeps ya laughin , with adult humour.
Rating: Summary: Touring the old world with a smile Review: In the tradition of "National Lampoons Animal House" and "American Pie" comes "Eurotrip", a trashy gross-out sex comedy. It is low brow and crass, but if you like that kind of thing (I know I do), then you will like this. Scotty (Scott Mechlowicz) is a recent high school graduate cruelly tells off his e-mail pen-pal, only to find out that the pen-pal is actually a sexy girl. So Scotty and his lazy buddy Cooper (Jacob Pitts) go to Europe and hook up with some friends that are already there; non-identical twin siblings Jamie (Travis Wester as the walking travelig guide) and Jenny (Michelle Tranchtenberg, in a sexy role proveing she's all grown up now), and get involved in one misadventure after another. As I said this movie is pretty trashy, but it's all in good fun, and it's the best comedy I have seen in a long, long time. Director and co-writer Jeff Schaffer deserves a nod; it isn't often that I like a comedy (that dosn't mean I don't like comedies, it's just I don't like a lot of what I see). The actor all do a good job with what they are given. By the way, my favorite scenes are the nude beach and the scene in Vatican City. It isn't deep, but it is funny, and that is what counts.
Rating: Summary: crazy hot european fun Review: That was the tightest movie ever. crazy hilarious
