Summary: Arnold's funniest movie!!!
Review: Arnold can do comedy if given the right material, & here he is given just that, as a father & husband who is obsessed with his job that he misses his son's karate class, after promising to be there, to make up for his absense, he promises his son anything he wants for Christmas, which happens to be a Turbo Man action figure, which is the year's hottest selling toy, while waiting in line at a retail store on Christmas Eve, he crosses paths with Simbad as an unstable postman whose also on the hunt, as they push & shove each other & try desperately to one up the other in their quest for the sold out Turbo Man, anyone who has children will see the reality here, I work in retail, & this movie shows the dark side to Christmas shopping not seen in other films, I have witnessed parents acting just like Arnold & Simbad in this movie & this movie is a fuuny take on parents acting like idiots to please their children, especially Arnold who keeps running afoul a police officer(Robert Conrad) at every turn, at the worst possible time or the shopping mall where Arnold & Simbad do battle over a ball that a department store offers for a limited stock of Turbo Man figures along with other frantic parents pushing & shoving their way for the magic balls that the employees throw in the air, to Arnold running into a bogus Santa( Jim Belushi) who is a con man that offers Arnold a Turbo Man in a undisclosed location where Belushi & others have a black market operation that has Arnold fighting Giant & Midget Santas when he calls Belushi a crook, to the place being raided to Arnold & Simbad once again doing battle, everthing that can go wrong does here for Arnold, in addition to that, he has a neighbor(the late Phil Hartman) making moves on his wife & showing him up at every turn, especially by bragging that he already got his son a Turbo Man, this is the funniest Chritmas movie since Chevy Chase's "Christmas Vacation" & ranks second in my view next Chase's film, both movies show the pains and joys of Christmas & do not candy coat it in any way shape or form like other Christmas movies do, the ending may be a little bit out there, but overall a very funny movie with everyone playing their roles to perfection, If you don't have kids or don't work in retail, you just won't get it!!!

Summary: Horrible Movie
Review: Even when I was younger when it first came out, I never liked this movie. It was not funny and the entire mood of the movie was mean-spirited. I could not find any character in this movie that I liked and it never put me into the Christmas spirit. The acting was not very well done and it did not display the true meaning of Christmas in my opinion. Spend your precious Christmas money on something better.

Summary: Jingle All the Way: My Family's Christmas Tradition
Review: I love this movie! We watch it a bunch of times every Christmas! The story goes that a father who's obsessed with his job was supposed to get his son an action figure two weeks before. So on Christmas Eve, he has to buy the doll. Unfortunately, none of the stores have it. He meets a crazy mailman who also wants it. I'll list the pros and cons:
Pros:
Funny characters
good story
good lesson at the end.
Cons:
Not good for little kids,
and kind of violent for a Christmas movie.
I love this movie. It's really funny.

Summary: "Jingle All The Way" Is An All-Time Classic....
Review: In 1996, "Jingle All The Way" became another Christmas classic. The movie is a perfect choice for the whole family to watch. Arnold Schwarzenegger has done it again. He has done thrillers, action films, comedies and now even family movies. No matter what kind of movie he has done in the past he has always made it a MASTERPIECE!

The movie starts out with Howard (Schwarzenegger) as a distracted businessman who hasn't paid much attention to his son lately. His son Jamie (Lloyd) is really excited about Christmas coming up and desperately along with every kid in the city wants one thing for Christmas: A Turbo Man doll. Every child has been begging their parents to buy it. Even though his wife Liz (Watson) told him to buy it a month ago, he FORGOT!!

Now it's Christmas Eve and he decides then to go buy the most popular toy on the market. Luckily so he don't look stupid, dozens of of other parents are doing the same thing. Now at the first store, they are SOLD OUT! Then one store after the other and the other and NOTHING!! Then he finds out that one store just got a late delivery of Turbo Man dolls and they are having a lottery to see who gets one first. So they whole crowd goes crazy after all the number balls are thrown in the air. He fights a mailmain (Sinbad) for number 2. He loses his ball. Then a mall Santa Claus convinces him that they have Turbo Man dolls to sell him. He follows the guy to his secret facility. He actually pays $300 for a doll and opens the box and it is all broken. They ARE CONARTISTS!! After all the trouble he's been through he starts punching everyone. He fights migit Santa's and even 7' giants.

Finally, after being chased my a cop, he accidenlty hides in the dressing room for the people in the parade. They think he is the replacement for the Turbo Man actor that goes on the parade float. So he finally gets his hand on a turbo man and now see what happens next. Will Jamie get this Turbo Man doll or NOT?

If you are a big Christmas fan, this is the next piece to add to your Christmas collection. Merry Christmas!! Ho, Ho, Ho!! Jingle All The Way!!

Summary: Christmas Mayhem!
Review: Last minute shopping has never been so much fun! It's an exhilarating experience that so many of us have gone through for our children. I say, why don't you forget shopping for Harry Potter toys or Legos, just buy "Jingle All the Way" for the whole family to embrace! The movie has the Jehovah known as Arnold Schwarzenegger (he alone should be the only reason why you should purchase this Christmas delight). Sinbad, yes, the man who brought you such hidden treasures such as, "Houseguest" and "First Kid". Comical! The late Phil Hartman whose legacy will live on forever and an annoying little brat that wants a TurboMan doll. Go away kid! But, aside from the runt, let me just tell you that Arnold gives a hearted performance as a loving, but ignorant father searching for the most popular toy for his son on Christmas Eve. He runs into Sinbad, a postal worker, Robert Conrad playing a silly police officer and many insane parents! An amazing experience that many of us can relate to! I remember fighting the crowds to get myself the Tickle Me Elmo doll! Wow!

Summary: Not a Bad Christmas movie...
Review: Someone called this movie and its characters mean. I can only assume that this person has nver been out on a holiday rush to get the season's hottest toys...Tickle Me Elmo? Furbys? Beanie Babies? Well hey, sometimes it does get brutal out there as parents fight to get that toy.

Jingle All the Way may exaggerate it a little bit, but not by much as Arnold and Sinbad battle through the streets of Minneapolis to find the Turbo Man action figure. I've seen, on many occasions, parents racing through the stores to get to the store aisles just as the store opens, just like in this movie.

Mean? No..perhaps a bit misguided but both men just want to make sure thier kids have a great Christmas. Phil Hartman is hilarious as the slimy, anal neighbor, cozying up to Arnolds wife and Robert Conrad is a treat to see as a cop who is always in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Look for Jim Belushi in a cameo as a dept. store Santa. Not a classic, but good escapist holiday fun.

Summary: It's Turbo Time! Stay Away!
Review: This holiday movie is slightly, and I stress SLIGHTLY amusing for those that have ever went out shopping towards the end of the Christmas season. We all know how stressful and irritating it can be and this movie tries to make light of it. Arnold plays the father of a boy who wants a Turbo Man doll (the hottest toy of the year). Arnold has of course forgotten about it, and has to find one within a couple hours. He runs into an equally stressed out mailman (an irritating Sinbad) who's also on the hunt for the doll, and they clash consistently throughout the day.

The movie starts off well, but eventually gets waaay too goofy to be funny anymore, with odd scenes like Arnold stumbling into a secret warehouse full of shopping mall Santas, one being some kind of wrestler that throws him around. Another downside to the movie are unlikable characters that you feel no sympathy for. The kid comes off as a brat who only cares about his gift, Sinbad made me want to unleash a horde of disgruntled postal workers on him, and Phil Hartman, as a neighbor who tries to have an affair with Arnold's wife (Rita Wilson) is funny, but still unlikable. I would advise you to stay clear of this Xmas turkey. It's all filler, and it makes you exhausted.

Summary: Hits close to home
Review: This movie is great if you have a zany sense of humor.

I think the reason that most people do not like it is that it hits too close to home. This movie is for people who can laugh at their problems, and some people don't feel that trying to find the toy of the year at Christmas is funny because of painful experience.

Of course, the point of the movie is that the father wants very badly to keep this promise to his son because he has let him down so many times before. At the end of the movie, guess what? Arnold BECOMES his son's hero! How cool is that? Who wouldn't want to be their kid's hero?

People whose parents let them down and people who let their kids down would not like this movie. Like I said, it hits too close home. Ouch!
