Summary: Watch the trailer--it's better than the movie
Review: Someone owes me three bucks for renting this movie, excuse me, waste of time and money. I'll give it to you, the trailer made me think I was going to be actually watching a comedy. And Anthony Anderson is usually a bright spot in any film. Poor Anthony couldn't save this dog. I was dismayed when my husband and I rented this movie and discovered that the best and only jokes of the film were shown on the trailers. They were also shown fairly early in the film too. So we basically sat watching the movie in dead silence. I began daydreaming to entertain myself until my husband begged me to turn it off. Yep, it was that bad. We can only stand about 45-50 minutes of crap at at a time. Please save your money and buy food or gas or a better movie. If I've saved just one person money from staying away from this movie, than I feel I've done my good deed for the day.

Review: Don't think that I was expecting anything classic or something,but I at least thought it was going to be charming and witty when I HAD to go see "My Baby's Daddy" when my sister won our coin toss because her shallow self wanted to go see it,and of course,she hated it,too.This film really does have that "bomb" factor in it,not only because Eddie Griffin in it,but because the movie could've been at last a little funnierstupid that it's a feast for us critics.So,here's the plot:Three best friends who are living with the fat one's(Anthony Anderson) uncle hook up with three women,who all get pregnant at the same time,and hilarity insues,right?Absolutely not!And it's mostly thanks to the formulaic and pretty much horrible script that really deserved a Razzie for "Worst Screenplay"!And the three actors,(sarcastic comment coming) who try their hardest to be funny and witty,fall rflat on their faces,especially Eddie Griffin!But don't get me wrong,the other two suck,too,especially that stupid wigger(the white boy)!The film also has stereotyping of Asians who own some type of store,in this case it being a grocery store.The only slightly funny is when the two babies are trying to convince Eddie's character to kiss this girl,but the rest is a formulaic piece of garbage,meant for frat boy idiots who are brain dead!The Verdict:This is by far the worst film of 2004,and may not be knocked off! Summary: Seriously This Movie Is Hilarious
Review: I keep reading reviews saying this movie sux, but in reality it doesn't. Ok, so we've all heard some of the humor, but for the most part this is just a solid comedy. Its funny seein Eddie Griffin play the most grown up out of the three guys, and when isn't Anthony Andersen funny? The white dude ain't too bad either. Anyways, I don't see why this is getting such bad reviews, Barbersop did all right and i like this movie better.
I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to have some laughs, or is just having a bad day, and needs it brightened up.

Summary: This is actually a cute film
Review: I know people think this is a horrible film, and judging from the reviews I was actually nervous about watching it. I took a chance and rented the movie to form my own opinion. Three guys find out they will be fathers at the same time and try to deal with the changes that will occur in their life. Lonnie (Eddie Griffin) is the nerd in the hood. He is in love with Rolanda (Paula Jai Parker Friday, Phone Booth, Proud Family) who is a serious hoodrat, and lives with the momma hoodrat named Peaches. Rolanda mistreats Lonnie every chance she gets. He is working hard, but it's not enough, she wants him to give up more money, and he just takes it. Not to mention while they having sex she is reading a magazine and faking it. How pathetic is that? G (Anthony Anderson) wants to be a boxer (now that in itself was comical) but he works for his girlfriends father. Xi Xi's (Ling Bai Wild Wild West) father does not like G, and XiXi wants G to be more responsible now that they are about to become parents. Xi Xi expects G to give up his dream of becoming a boxer and help her with their child. Dominic (Michael Imperioli, Sopranos) is a music exec who is a serious playa and not trying to settle down. His one night stand with Nia (Joanna Bacalso, Snow Dogs, Woo) results in her expecting. Nia wants to have the baby, and is very angry that Dominic does not want her to have the child. Later in the film you find out that Nia is a Lesbian. Guess being with someone like Dominic can lead you in that direction.
I have to say my favorite scene in the film that made me laugh out loud was the birthing class scene. When the instructor says "Flatulence is normal during pregnancy" and Rolanda let's loose I could not help but laugh. Rolanda is so ghetto and classless when the instructor says to get into a comfortable position she goes on her hands and knees with the rest of the class looking at her like she is a fool. Which she was.
Then the instructor saying "Child birth is to be a loving blissfull and wonderful experience," which leads to Rolanda screaming her head off in the delivery room is hilarious.
Once the babies are born you get the usual funny scenes of trying to change the diapers, stopping them from crying, getting peed on, feedings and everything else that is involved with dealing with children. G's character gets peed on twice by his son and crys "I'm going blind." Can't help but chuckle at that, and then the poopy diaper scene is funny. The guys still try to remain true to their bachelor lifestyles, and being fathers. The men soon learn the two don't mix and they have to make some changes. What was once priorities or important in their lives have to be shifted to accommodate being involved and loving fathers.
Lonnie changes his image and he finally gets a backbone and stands up to Rolanda. I was so happy when he finally told her off!! The money he was giving her for their child she was using it to shop, and I was so upset by that.
I also need to add the very beginning of the film is too cute with the animation as the introduction.
The main problem I did have the movie and will always have are the stereotypes. The whole "Asian's can't speak proper English" is truly played out and not funny. If Asians made fun of black stereo types there would be a major uproar and we all know it. I also had issues that during that party scene where the babies manage to get out of the room after someone left the door open by mistake. Not one person noticed the babies, ever!!! That just did not seem very realistic to me.
The movie is not great, but there are some moments that will make you chuckle and some other moments I found funny. I like the comedic spin of the movie, but the message is loud and clear. You have to grow up, become a man and take care of your children!!! It's worth a rental. If watch this movie with no expectations you might find yourself surprised. Method Man plays a character named No Good in the film and that's exactly what he was. No Good!!! I'm still trying to figure out how he could rob a toy store the way he did and not get in trouble? John Amos plays Uncle Virgil in the film, the voice of reason and the father figure to Lonnie. Mr. Amos is such a good actor. I would really like to see him in better roles that display his talent.

Review: I Like the Cats in the Film&the Ladies in the Film was solid for my eyes but as far as watching this Film that couldn't make up it's mind if it wanted to be"How to be a Player" or "Daddy Day care"? Forgetaboutit.save your money.it has a few aight scenes here&there but on a whole it's a lemon.the best part for me was the kid playing little 2Pac in the mini Low-rider.

Review: i rented this on a boring friday night because Anthony Anderson , and Eddie Griffen were in it. I was pleasently surprised to find a comic gem that is so funny and has a cute message.

Review: If you were expecting a Daddy Day Care sort of movie well you'll be disappointed. Just the title alone I wasn't really expecting this movie to be on a Friday or Barbershop 1 type level but I was expecting it to be a little more funny than it was. It had some cute moments and if not for Method Man playing the crazy cousin "No Good", John Amos (Good Times) playing his typical hilarious father figure role, and Paula Jai Parker (The original Friday) playing her usual ghetto fabulous roles, it probably would have easily have gotten 0 stars. However, the fact that the movie was actually clean, and the comedy very tame to the point where I could let my 9 year old watch it, I won't complain too bad. The fact that the message of the movie was to show grown men to take better care of their responsibility as parents was not lost on me as well which saved me from completely trashing the movie.
