Summary: Well Made DVD of Great Series
Review: This DVD, the last Coupling DVD that will feature Jeff, who left the show after the third season, is outright hilarious! Farce at its best. But while the situations are as funny as ever, the plots get deeper and more meaningful in this season than some of the earlier ones.

It should also be clarified that a previous reviewer's comment about poor sound on the DVD is not accurate. The first episode, Split, features split screen with Steve's story on the left and Susan's on the right. The stereo sound is split accordingly with Susan's voice primarily coming from the right speaker and Steve's coming primarily from the left. I suspect that the previous reviewer is either watching a mono TV which is dropping the right channel rather than mixing them, or his or her right speaker or stereo separation is defective. The sound works perfectly on my set.

This is an amazing program, extremely well written and acted, outrageously funny. I highly recommend it!

Summary: Laugh Out Loud Good
Review: This is the best of the first three seasons, although like any series, you will get more out of this if you have also seen seasons 1 and 2. Season 2 ended with a cliff hanger, and if you haven't seen Season 2 in a while, the Season 3 intro doesn't do a good job of reminding you where the story line left off (although by episode 2, everything will have come back to you).

The episodes are easy to relate to, and the pacing is quick, so they feel like they fly by. The only downside is, that there are very few episodes.

Don't bother listening to the episode commentaries. They are painfully boring, and you cannot help but wonder why they were included in the first place.

Overall, a great addition to any DVD collection, especially, as you can watch these more than once and still laugh out loud every time.
