Review: this movie is not a movie for any child under the age of 8.this movie was sick but it was very funny

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Comedy at its peak
Review: Jim carrey is the most hilarious actor I have ever seen, and this is his best film since The Mask. The slapstick humor and hilarious antics will keep you in stitches!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: a funny, great movie
Review: Jim Carrey in "Liar Liar" is great. Fletcher Reed is a Lawyer and is lying a lot, especially to his son. His son, Max, thought his dad would be at his birthday party and his dad, who "promised" to be there, didn't show up. He wished for one day his dad couldn't lie. It comes true and know Fletcher faces many problems as he tells the truth all the time.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The best movie Jim Carrey has ever made
Review: Wow! That is the reaction you get from everyone after seeing this new classic. People of all ages will love this film even if you don't like Jim Carrey in his other films. Just leave the real young ones in front of Fluber because the jokes are sexually driven but there is no nudity so 4th grade plus should be ok.

Summary: One of Jim Carrey's best movies
Review: Fletcher Reed is a lawyer who always wins his cases by lying. But unfortunatly the judge isn't the only person he makes a habit of lying to. His constant promises to spend time with his son Max never come through at the last minute.

So when Max makes a wish that for 24 hrs that his dad cannot tell a lie, he never expected it to actually come true. Unfortunatly in the affected 24 hours, Fletcher has a HUGE divorce case to settle and his fabricated story cannot be told.

At the same time, Max's mother Audrey has been offered a marriage proposal from her boyfriend and plans to take Max to Boston with them. Now Fletcher must deal with not being able to lie and try to change Audrey's mind before he loses Max forever.

One of Jim Carrey's best movies, it made me lol the whole time.

Summary: What's wrong with everyone who gave four star reviews.
Review: I don't see how anyone could give this movie four stars. Carry crossed the line here. his charecter is repulsive, the jokes do not work, and the point that this movie seems to make is not something I will dignify with comment. This movie is tasteless trash and that's it.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Above average comedy
Review: Carrey fans are sure to enjoy this comedy, as it includes what are perhaps some of his best lines (Thanks dad!/Thanks son!) and may even manage to rate as passable by the masses of people who can't stand Carrey out there (he's marginally less manic than he was in Ace Ventura, you see...marginally). Perhaps the main criticism of the film is that once the premise gets underway (a lawyer, played by Carrey, becomes unable to lie after his son wishes for it on his bithday) things becomes a bit obvious and formulaic, i.e. Carrey bumps into all sorts of people he would rather not tell the truth too, and does things that he would rather not admit...you can imagine all the scenarios, and practically all of them end up happening in this film. All in all, it will prove a delight for Carrey fans, and decent enough for everyone else.

Summary: One of Jim Carrey's best
Review: I haven't seen The Mask in ages, so currently, this is my favourite Jim Carrey movie. I haven't seen the Ace Ventura movies, or Cable Guy - actually, I don't think I've seen that many of his movies. *Suddenly remembers she has Bruce Almighty* This movie has me in fits everytime I watch it. From the infamous scene with Jim Carrey in the lift with the gorgeous girl with the ample sized chest (Fletcher: Well thats cause you've got big jugs. I... I mean your boobs are huge. I mean, I want to squeeze them. I... ma ma.), to the outtakes at the end of the movie. JEZEBEL!

Jim Carrey (which I continously pronounce wrong, and get corrected) is one of those great actors that can most of the time turn his hand at anything, as long as it's funny. I can't honestly see him in a serious movie - and in his latest movie, which I forget the name of, doesn't he look different?! I originally thought it was Christopher Lloyd.

I also love Jennifer Tilly, again with a lot of too tight tops! She plays her character very well, and is so funny in the courtroom when he's trying to get her to confess to NOT being a true blonde.

There's some terrific lines in this, which only Jim could carry off, and will have you rolling on the floor with laughter. Some of the most memorable ones are:

Cop: Do you know why I pulled you over?
Fletcher: Depends on how long you were following me.
Cop: Let's start from the top.
Fletcher: Here it goes: I sped. I followed too closely. I ran a stop sign. I almost hit a Chevy. I sped some more. I failed to yield at a crosswalk. I changed lanes at an intersection. I changed lanes without signaling while running a red light and SPEEDING!
Cop: Is that all?
Fletcher: No... I have unpaid parking tickets.

Fletcher: Your honor, I object!
Judge: Why?
Fletcher: Because it's devastating to my case!
Judge: Overruled.
Fletcher: Good call!

Office Worker: Hey, Fletcher, how's it hanging?
Fletcher: Short, shriveled, and always to the left. (interpret that whichever way you want)

Fletcher: Mrs. Cole, the only problem here is that after you've provided years of faithful service and loving support raising his children - They are his?
Samantha: Oh yeah. One for sure.
Fletcher: After all that, your husband wants to deny you a fair and equitable share of the marital assets based on one single act of indiscretion.
Samantha: Seven.
Fletcher: Beg your pardon?
Samantha: Seven single acts of indiscretion.
Fletcher: SEVEN! acts of indiscretion, only one of which he has any evidence and all of which he himself is responsible for.

Audrey: Where were you?
Fletcher: Having sex.
Audrey: Well, I hope it was with someone VERY special.
Fletcher: No, see - that's the thing... I don't even like her, but she's a partner and I thought I could help my career by making her squeal.

Fletcher: Weight, 105. Yeah, in your bra!
Dana: Your Honor, I object!
Fletcher: You would!
Dana: B*****D!
Fletcher: HAG!
Judge Stevens: QUIET!

If this movie is not in your DVD collection, or you have not seen it, you're missing out on something. Just make sure you watch the outtakes! Unfortunately, I missed them, cos the phone rang! Don't answer the phone when the outtakes are about to come on.
