Summary: Very original gags
Review: Although I go for cheap, chessy comedies too, this movies is NONE of that. The gags are clever and unpredictable, and the acting, especially by Lovitz and Carrere, is superb. Comedy is always hard, especially if one is doing comedy about potentially sensitive issues (e.g. rough high schools). "High School High" succeeds at making one laugh while not offending anyone.

Summary: Jon Lovitz is hilarious!
Review: As usual, Jon Lovitz is hilarious as can be in this movie of a dedicated teacher attempting to make a difference in the lives of "low-life scumbag" students who are into drugs, sex, and gangs. This movie is not very well written but the acting is terrific. I would reccomend this movie for a quick laugh because Jon Lovitz is a very funny actor.

Review: I used to think that John Lovitz was funny (see The Critic and SNL) but after this I felt that he wasn't at all, or he must've been desperate for money. Tia Carrerre did a wonderful job playing an talentless teacher. After such wonderful performances as the bad girl in True Lies, and the naked chick in Rising Sun, I was surprised at how little cleavage she showed in this movie. If you find stupid humor funny, than this movie is for you. Oh, and please wait for things to come out on video if you do like this, because Hollywood producers see the money that terrible unfunny films make and decide to make more of them (like every teen-highschool-angstridden-SarahMicheleGellar-film)

Review: It's too bad that you don't have negative ratings, because I would give this film a negative five. Absolutely the worst movie ever made. Mekhi Phifer is one of my favorite character actors, and to have him cast in a movie of this low caliber is just regretable. The stereotypical humor was insulting and was not funny. The only thing keeping me from rating this film below a negative five is the fact that the sound and picture quality are good.

I Love just about Everything The Zucker Brothers have had a hand in.
From "The Naked Gun" to "Airplane" to the lesser known,
"Brain Donors" & "Top Secret".
This Movie is pretty damn funny, but some of the "Jokes" are totally ruined
by the "Pan & Scan" Version of this movie.
So if you are into this Brand of humour, You will like this dvd,
This review only give lesser stars because the movie isnt in widescreen.
So 4 Stars for the actual movie,
1 Star deducted for being Pan & scan (Scam)

Summary: Best movie ever created!!!!!!!!! HILARIOUS !!!!!!!!!!!
Review: This film probably received criticism that was slightly more scathing than it deserved. I am not certain that viewers recognized it for the slapsticky satire that it was meant to be. Nonetheless, I found it gasping for consistency through most of the movie. Unlike the Naked Gun or Airplane, this film often concealed the director's satiric intent. And the satire that did shine through was usually a bit too blunt and obvious, and just plain lacking in humor. Anyone who did not laugh at the scene in which Lovitz and Carrera posed as restaurant waitstaff towards the end of the movie, however, needs to have their funny bone examined! I was in stitches! I would still not necessarily recommend a viewing of this movie for this scene alone.
