Review: this movie is so funny,I could stop laughing for hours after i saw it the first time in the movies.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Need I Say More?
Review: Fast Times At Rigemont High is without a doubt one of the greatest masterpieces ever made! Those of you who gave it 1 or 2 stars obviously aren't americans or haven't lived in the 80's. This movie brings back memories every time I watch it. It's a delight to see it, and when will this movie be on DVD? If anyone knows, please email me.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Nostalgia at its best.
Review: It's rare that a movie tries to be socially responsible while still off the wall. Its a multi-plot movie about dating, responsibility, friendship, and drugs. The comedy of the movie has since been copied so often its fun to see where it originated; and how it was once done well.

Notes:

-It's heavily rooted in the 80's. -Political Correctness wasn't conceived at the time. -The music was fun (not depressing like today's).

** Look for cameos by Eric Stoltz and Anthony Edwards as Spicoli's stoner friends, and Nicholas Cage (listed as Nicholas Coppola) as one of Brad's preppy friends.

Summary: Fast Times=Good Times!
Review: This movie is a masterpiece! A definitive slice of early 80's in America with a cross section of the social stratus in high school. One of the 20 best in my collection! This movie brought a slew of new stars to recognition, so it must have had some kind of impact on the entertainment world!

Summary: great film
Review: It's a great film, and what people don't know is that it is based on a true story! A man posed as a highschool student for a year and wrote the fast times book.. read the book to get insight on all kinds of things from the movie.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: RIGHT HERE, DUDE!!!
Review: sex, drugs, and rock n roll: this movie has got it all. From Sean Penn getting wasted to Phoebe Cates getting naked, no other high school film comes close. AWESOME, TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Crass, Crude, and (hopefully) unrealistic
Review: This is a bad movie. Lousy plot, lousy situations, lots of sexual talk, and lots of gutter scenes. Basically, there are two reasons this movie became famous:

1. Sean Penn's portrayal of lovable burnout Jeff Spicoli is dead-on funny at times.

2. Phoebe Cates shows her pineapples for a few seconds.

That's about it. Not a very commendable way to make a movie.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Dull
Review: What a waste of celluloid. The jokes aren't funny. The film tries desperately hard to be funny (like the masterbatorial fantasy), then throws a supposed 'serious' situation (the abortion). It fails in both regards. The characters are flat and lifeless, except Ray Walston's Mr. Hand, and Sean Penn's Spicoli, but these characters are so overblown, they seem hokey. The film is a foul piece of garbage.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: this movie is one of the best of all times
Review: If you haven't seen this movie you are really missing out. This movie is the godfather of all high school stoner movies and Sean Penn gives one of the best performances of a lifetime. You'll laugh your butt off and remember how it used to be. Put this movie on DVD!!!!!
