Summary: Extremely good!!!
Review: A story about 4 guys, who decide to go on a road trip, after they've finished their high school. Firts they travell to Mexico in order to catch some serious waves. They get some serious surfing over there. But then the news comes, that one of their's grandfathers died and they must come to Seattle to collect the money he left for him. So they decide to trvell up there. On the way they meet a girl, who turns out to be a cousin of one of them. So together they continue the journey only stopping to do some extreme motocross jumps, some extreme skateboarding and snowboarding. But durin this journey one of the guys falls in love with her (of course), but they get into a fight and she leaves. Well in the end, they found out that there hasn't been any money left for one of them. After they raise some money, they decide to fly to Alaska in order to get some serious snowboarding and they want to take the girl with them. Well, at first she doesn't want to leave, but in the end she appears in the plane nad that's the happy end of the story.
Also cool in this movie, beside the story, are the clips of some great surfers, skaters, motocross riders and snowboarders, doing really extreme tricks. Awesome!

Summary: What is there to like about Extreme Days?
Review: Everything! Everything is to like about this film.
My youngest brother watched this movie first and then told me I had to see it. I gave in and watched it with him, and laughed hysterically.
First of all in response to some other comments about this movie-- Christian films just like secular films require money, and support. You won't see big names like Disney backing up a Christian film, and you can't expect the same viewing quality. The Passion, made by Mel Gibson was the first Christian film that had film quality, and not everyone has the amount of money or resources as Mel.
That asside, this movie was awesome. It was powerful. It was geared toward a young audience and has some childish scenes, but still makes for an amazing family movie night. It's a movie with a lesson. It's a movie with a point. But most importantly---
It's a movie WITHOUT language, sex, violence, nudity, and gore.
Completely appropriate for the entire family, and a movie I am proud to own. I am a 20 year old college student and I still think it's the best movie (Jonah (Veggie Tales) being a close second) I've ever seen.
I'm not going to hype this up as a movie that places all the focus on Jesus, because I do think they could have used a few more scenes that included prayer, and/or talking about the Lord. However, I think it's clean, and the overall plot is a story of how God can take the seemingly bad things in life and turn them into good if we would place our trust in Him.
The Genesis 50:20 rule "What you intended for bad, the Lord intended for good."
If you would like to see a Christian film with a real message, complete honesty, true cleanliness, and non-stop hilarity, buy this movie! And watch it over and over again--you will want to, trust me.

Review: EXTREME DAYS is a movie about four college friends who go on a road trip so that one of them can collect his inheritance from his deceased grandfather. Along the way they keep involved in all sorts of extreme activities from surfing to snowboarding to a paintball war and some hard line skating. They also meet up with a girl (who happens to be related to one of the guys) who needs a ride. She joins them on their adventures and her and one of the boys fall in love. This movie has no sex, violence, or swearing. It's a film that makes a great alternative to many of the "teen" films churned out in LaLa land. My youngest brother is a sophomore in high school and loves this film. He kept telling me how good it is and finally after nearly a year, I sat down and watched it with him. I was pleasantly surprised. No, there aren't any Oscar moments and there are a few film making flubs, but there is a decent movie and a great story.As a sidenote for anyone who has seen HOOK, the kid who played Rufio, is one of the EXTREME DAYS leads.

Summary: This movie is EXTREME!
Review: I have been wanting to see "Extremedays" since I saw the trailer for it when I saw "The Fast and the Furious" (another great pick!)! When I saw that my video store had it I did not hesitate in renting it. I went home put in the DVD, sat down had my cup of Pepsi and my Taco Bell dinner, and watched a very funny, action-packed, romantic (yes, I said romantic) comedy. The movie is about four friends who go on a very cool road trip to get a car and some money. Along the way they pick up a hot girl, and do a whole lot of wicked sports! This movie even though it did poorly in theaters (maybe because it's a Christian movie) it has some of the best sports footage of skateboarding, snowboarding, BMX Biking, dirtbike riding and a whole lot more. A honest DVD-viewer will notice that the picture quality on the DVD is not up to par. But, the awesome 5.1 Surround and 2.0 Stereo soundtracks make up for it. If you are an old person who does not like loudness, do yourself (and your hearing-aid)a favor and not watch this at maximum level. The really hard and heavy soundtrack will knock the socks off of you. Featuring songs from Christian artists like P.O.D., DC Talk, Project 86, Jars of Clay, PAX-217 and lots, lots more, many non-Christians will enjoy this. Very suitable for young audiences. Rated PG for some thematic elements (mostly about relatives dying) and crude humor (the guys light up their farts, a very funny scene). No language, no sex, no violence (unless you count falling off skateboards violent). This is suitable for everyone.

Review: I love this movie. It's basically the story of four guys who scrape up enough money to go on a huge road trip, complete with surfing, snowboarding, dirt biking, and other extreme sports. They meet up with a girl who joins them in their sports craze, but things don't go exactly as planned. Of course, Extreme Days is corny and isn't going to win any Academy Awards, but that's not what the producers were going for. They were trying to provide a clean alternative to all the trashy teen movies that have been made in the last few years. I loved it because there was no swearing, no sex, and no graphic violence. Most people would hate this movie for that very reason, but I thought it was great and it's definitely going on my wish list. The soundtrack is awesome Christian rock--Toby Mac and Michael Tait from dctalk, sonicflood, Audio Adrenaline. And even though Extreme Days was co-produced by a company that sells Christian clothing, it's not preachy or overly religious. If you are looking for a funny, entertaining movie that's not full of hard language and sex, this is the movie for you!

Review: I loved this movie! It was wild, hilarious, romantic in parts but not at all immoral. The best part was the presence of God as he guided these kids through thier adventures. God kept it all in focus. I am not ashamed to recommend this movie to Christian girls, guys and any body who enjoys good clean humor and entertainment. Enjoy!

Summary: EXTREMEly Good!
Review: I saw this movie last night, and I LOVED it!!!! It was SO not what I was expecting. It was hilarious, with quite a few good Christian morals mixed in. And the best part was that it was clean - no sex, no drugs, no swearing. If you have a random sense of humor, like extreme sports, and/or are craving a nice, clean, GOOD movie, watch this one! It rocks!

Summary: Extreme Days-Awsome Ways!
Review: I was so overwhelmed to find such a great movie! This is really a family movie. I [my husband and I] was watching it not knowing what to expect. When I was listening to the music. I realized that this is the same music that my youngest teen listens to. I hear it in church. Then we were really getting into the movie. No nude scenes! No violence! No cursing! Wait, do they still make thes movies. Well I couldn't believe it. We watched this over and over again. We have looked to buy it. My 16 year old daughter has wanted it for Christmas this being the 2nd now. Not any place I have gone to sells it. That doesn't surprise me at all! Some never heard of it. When you can see a movie with all the feeling of God moving you. Well anyone that hasn't seen it is missing out of a GREAT movie. I wish we had it and more like it. I just pray that we can soon find it along with more like it!!!

Summary: Life's a Trip . . .
Review: Life's a trip. Extreme Days drives home this point in an extremely clear and entertaining manner, and that is one aspect of the film I greatly appreciate. But something's missing.
Extreme Days tells the story of four life-long friends: Will (A.J. Buckley), Brian (Ryan Browning), Corey (Dante Basco), and Matt (Derek Hamilton). After taking four years to complete a two-year college program, the four extreme sports fans decide to embark on one last road trip together before going their separate ways in their adult lives. Their plan is to surf, skate, and snowboard their way across the West Coast. So they each quit their jobs, pack up, and hit the road with only a couple hundred bucks to support them. But their road trip adventure is about to take some unexpected and life-changing turns.
Soon after they arrive at their first destination, Mexico, Corey learns that his grandfather (Chao Li Chi) has died and that he left Corey in possession of his old roadster and a substantial amount of money. The four road travellers then decide to attempt a trip to the home of Corey's grandmother (Virginia Montero) and accompany Corey as he collects his inheritance.
Along the way, they stumble across a beautiful damsel in distress named Jessie (Cassidy Rae). They offer her a ride, and together they continue their road trip adventure, skateboarding, snowboarding, biking, and motocrossing along the way. But when they finally arrive at the home of Corey's grandmother, an unexpected and disastrous dilemma faces them, and through their experience, the five friends learn firsthand that life is a trip, a journey that God desires to help every person fulfill.
As I said before, I greatly appreciate this film's message, and the way in which it is presented. Still, there is something missing. It is a somewhat shallow film; basically a music video with a plot. There is a substantial lack of character development. The choreography frequently switches from professional choreography to below average, amateur choreography using a handheld camera, and this frquent switch tends to be distracting and annoying. The performances are not very authentic; the actors do not seem to feel comfortable onscreen, and their performances are average at best; they do not come off as being real. The storyline is one aspect of the film that is very well done; there is an excellent kickoff and a great culmination, and in between, everything builds up to the message this film is successful at driving home. The underlying message is in my mind the best aspect of this movie, and screenwriters Eric Hannah and Craig Detweiler are superb in the way they exhibit that message. Eric Hannah also directs the film.
On a scale of 1 to 5, this film gets a three. The message of the movie is its greatest aspect, and it is definitely a redeeming quality, compensating for poor character development, choppy choreography, and amateur acting. Extreme Days is worth watching for its underlying message, a message that personally challenged and inspired me to be who God wants me to be.
