Review: Great movie for anyone. Any doctor or want-to-be doctor could stand to learn a thing or two from this movie. Robin Williams is great as Patch. What makes it even better is that it is based on a real story.

Summary: A sometimes funny, sometimes touching story.
Review: Okay. Forget the hype... As it stands, this a good movie... Not great, just good. Williams, of course, is fabulous. He nails the character to perfection. Trouble is, the character of Patch Adams, either real or on screen, is not that interesting. Sure, he's unique. But, that's it. Of course, there are some hilarious moments, like when a bunch of gyneacologists are visiting the college, Patch makes the entrance into the female anatomy. (you have to see it) And there are touching moments as well, like when his girlfriend dies and he is on a cliff contemplating suicide. Very powerful. But, these moments are too infrequent. The rest is predictable. All in all, it's worth seeing if only for Williams' performance.

Review: This movie was very touching....and the fact that it was based on a true story was even more moving. I thought it was very well put together. Another person wrote that it was a stupid movie, because they kept trying to make you cry......apparently it worked and that's why they were upset. But, in reality they were just telling a real life story...... and life isn't always happy and sunny.....that's just reality.....but, I do believe they did a good job of balancing the laughter and the tears. Great movie.....I would watch it again......and again.....and again. :o)

Review: This movie made you laugh and cry also. I would have never thought the movie would have ended the way that it did. I LOVED this movie. Anyone who is terminally ill or who has cancer or a diseas should watch this movie.
