Summary: Swirl sheds light on dating
Review: I came across this film by recognizing the lead star (Carl Payne) from the Martin Lawrence Show. The film gives a light hearted yet refreshing approach to the subject of interracial dating. Much of the writing seems to pay homage to Kevin Smith. The film has an independent feel to it with some hysterical scenes. The lead (Carl) does a nice job delivering inner conflict and comedy. Overall I enjoyed it. I give it 4 stars, (I never give 5).

Summary: great flic
Review: I didnt want to get the movie at first but my girlfriend made me rent it. I thought it was going to be a total "chic-flic". It was a chic flic but it was pretty funny. Carl Anthony Payne was great but the supporting cast made the movie. The ex boyfriend Jay and his buddy were halarious and made the movie worth the rental fee. It seemed to be a little low budget yet I was thoroughly entertained. I am looking foward to more movies from this director.

Summary: Quick review
Review: This movie is Jungle Fever's Worst nightmare. Sarah (Stephanie Denise Griffin) and Beethoven (Carl Anthony Payne II) are lifelong friends. They start a business together and eventually the partnership becomes lovers. However Beethoven is worried that his relationship with a white girl is good for him.
A good movie that really takes a look at interracial relationships. You hear bother views as well as Super Sister that gives Beethoven an earful every chance she gets. Only thing is she's in his mind.

Summary: A comment...
Review: Well, I've not yet seen it in its entirety and must admit that the teaser got my attention. (the form insists on a rating).
I have a comment about the accuracy of a detail presented; Bethoven goes to Howard which is described as an all Black school. Actually, Howard is a historically black university.
It most def is not an all black school; this applies to both student body and faculty. This detail seems small until you think of how many people may be unintentionally misinformed and how that misinformation might cause someone to think s/he is automatically excluded or cause another to think that there's a guarentee that one's roommate will not be white!
I've taken classes at Howard and have life long friendships which began there in the '60s. I'm Jewish of eastern european descent.
At Spelman, the same applies. It's a historically Black college, not an all Black college. Of course Asians, Euros, and others of the human race, are in the minority at these fabulous places of learning. My daughter, Black and Jewish, is a Spelman grad and I'm personally familiar with that campus, as well.

Thanks!
