Summary: Outrageously funny!
Review: Liar Liar is the best comedy Jim Carrey has ever acted in. This role was tailor made for Carrey, there are so many funny moments throughout this movie, your stomach will hurt from laughing so hard. Its that funny! It is by far one of my all time favorite comedies and its the funniest Carrey has ever been.

The outtakes at the end of the movie are some of the funniest I have ever seen and is a nice conclusion to the hour and half of great laughs. I can not recommend this movie to you enough. Its great! Buy it!

Summary: Jim Has Never Been Better!
Review: Jim Carrey was wonderful in this movie! Why can't he make more movies like this....I absolutly enjoyed this one. After making "The Cable Guy" which was a total disapointment, I think Jim had a great comeback! He really showed that it's the script thats not funny. If you people love Jim Carrey movies, then don't miss out on this one, your really gonna be tied down to your seats and laughing out loud! 5 stars all the way!

Summary: Laughed 'til I cried!
Review: Liar, Liar is an hysterically funny movie starring Jim Carrey as a man who simply cannot tell the truth. That is, until his little boy makes a birthday wish that for an entire 24 hours his father cannot tell a lie.

Carrey plays a lawyer who defends the lowest of low characters. His life is practically run by his boss, "the woman from Hell", played by Amanda Donahoe.

On the night of his son's birthday party, he is supposed to be at his ex-wife's house celebrating the little boy's birthday. Instead, he is in the sack with Amanda. His little boy makes his wish, and just after the two grown-ups have done their thing, and Amanda asks Jim how he's doing, Jim Carrey tells her, "I've had better." I thought I'd die laughing. The truth is supposed to set you free, but it got Carrey into a whole lot of hot water. Boiling hot water!

He goes about the 24 hours not being able to tell a lie. His entire office co-workers are told off about their appearance and what they should do about it. Even after he leaves work, and is pulled over by a policeman, the policeman asks him if he knew what he'd been doing. Carrey goes into this long description of all the bad things he'd done, like "...running a red light, and speeeeeding!"

In the courtroom he knows he's supposed to lie so that a client can get full custody of her kids plus millions of dollars. But the poor man just can't lie. He requests a bathroom break, and when he's in the bathroom, he begins to beat himself up, knocking his head on the wall, pulling the toilet seat down on his head, just literally bruising himself black and blue.

A man walks into the bathroom and asks him what he's doing. He turns around and with a disgusted look on his face says, "I'm kicking my ... Do you mind?"

I didn't think Carrey could get funnier than he was in The Mask, but I dreamed this movie and laughed all night long. My husband said I kept him awake, and why couldn't I sleep without dreaming.

If you don't watch another movie this year, you should at least be sure to watch Liar, Liar, especially if you are in need of a gut-splitting laugh.

Summary: Maybe not the best but surely the funniest Carrey movie
Review: This man makes a film. His face, his movements, his improvisations, his entire way of acting are enough to carr(e)y »Liar Liar« and make it a very funny movie about an in fact interesting philosophical issue.

I CAN'T LIE! Buy this. And laugh your way through it. There's no other way.

Summary: Jim Carreys Best Yet!
Review: Liar Liar is the best film yet by Jim Carrey. I have owned it since it has been out and it is still watched regularly at my household. Liar Liar has so much more to offer than the Ace Ventura movies. Liar Liar is a pretty clean movie and I have no problem watching it. The acting is GREAT. SOme of the scenes in Liar Liar just make me get laughing so hard that I will have to get up and just walk it off. Time after time I seem to catch jokes i have never heard before and scenes i did not know were so funny. i would recomend this to anyone that likes a great movie that would keep you with a great movie and also anyone who of course likes Jim Carrey. thank you for your time and I hope I have been helpful!

Summary: Mama Mama
Review: I wish it were really that way, that no one could tell a lie. Of course it probably would get everyone in trouble just like it did Jim Carrey. I liked the elevator scene and when he threw the phone because he couldn't stop himself from telling the truth.

Summary: A wholesome,funny,family movie.
Review: The hugely popular, though frustratingly underachieving at times,Jim Carrey,is on top form here in this wholesome and genuinely funny family comedy. He stars as an unscrupulous lawyer with a penchant for being a stranger to the truth.

He gets his just desserts, however, with some hilarious results, when his neglected son makes a birthday wish that his dad has to tell the truth for 24hrs.

Good, old fashioned type entertainment for all the family,a fun movie and especially so for fans of the manic Jim Carrey.

Summary: The best Jim Carrey movie so far
Review: Liar Liar is my favorite Jim Carrey film so far without a doubt. I thought parts of it were hilarious and it's an original comedy. I like most of Carrey's movies but I was sort of getting tired of the Ace Ventura movies and there couldn't have been a better movie than Liar Liar to give Carrey's movies a facelift and make them better.

Liar Liar is about Jim Carrey's struggles with being a father while being a businessman. He's always busy and he's never around when his son wants him to be and Jim Carrey and his wife aren't getting along mainly for that reason. His son wishes on his birthday that his dad wouldn't lie for 24 hours. Jim Carrey then CAN'T lie even if he wanted to for a whole day. He tells people more stuff than any of them want to know and can't lie no matter what he does.

Liar Liar is a hilarious movie and it has a good storyline and plot to it to not only make it a great comedy movie, but even a little bit of a drama title. If you like comedy movies, Liar Liar is one you can't miss; even if you're not a major Jim Carrey fan.
