Review: What was the story? I couldn't figure it out. The movie lost its touch when Bill Murray did not have a large role. He wasn't funny in it either. I expected more out of him, in comedy-sense. The plot was ridiculous. Why not Bill Murray pull his gun out and shoot DeNiro and be done with it? That would have saved a lot of time and my time. The mingling between De Niro and Thurman was so embarrassing that I had a hard time watching it. I felt embarrassed when I saw De Niro trying to do, ya know, that part...it felt too weird. All right, the movie {is not great}. It was slow. It was boring. It got 4 since it was short, thank you. I personally recommend you to skip this one cause it aint a Deniro film or even a Murray film. If you wanna see Uma naked, get this one and see it for a brief time, be done with it. Now you know what she looks like when she is denuded. All right, this is a disposable entertainment.

Summary: Average Cops and Gangsters Vehicle
Review: When a retrospective of Robert DeNiro's career is done, I seriously doubt this one will be mentioned. It's mildly engaging but slight entertainment. DeNiro seems to be sleepwalking through his role of nerdy cop. Bill Murray does not really stretch himself in the gangster role. We only view him as a menacing presence because the story tells us so. Uma Thurman is adequate in her role of DeNiro's prize for saving Murray's life, but there is nothing here to suggest the range that she showed in later work. Who does distinguish himself is David Caruso as DeNiro's no-nonsense partner. If Caruso were not so self-destructive he could have had a nice career in films. I would have been more impressed with this venture had Martin Scorsese taken the directorial reigns instead of just producing it.
