Review: A FORMER WRESTLER [HULK HOGAN] TAKES A JOB BABYSITTING A RICH MAN'S KIDS WHO HAVE MADE EVERY OTHER BABYSITTER THEY EVER HAD QUIT THE JOB. FUNNY AT TIMES, BUT NOT ALWAYS ENTERTAINING. THIS IS AN OK MOVIE TO WATCH IF YOU'RE LOOKING AT TV WITH YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY OR IF YOU NEED A GOOD LAUGH. HOGAN DOESN'T DO TOO BAD IN THIS ONE.

Summary: Kids Get The Babysitter, Mother Love Never Fails
Review: C'mon now, it's a kid's movie. And for the elementary school kid there is no better fantasy than a dream of revenge against the babysitter. For its target audience, there is no disappointment here. Hulk is the retired grappler turned unwilling nanny for spoiled but lovable kids and quickly falls foil to their tricks and traps. Then, of course, they are kidnapped by the evil and campy Buster Poindexter (who is just divine as a criminal with a steel plated cranium) and only the big man can save the day. Radio host and author Mother Love steals the scenes she has as the maid who tolerates Hulk. Some interesting side notes to this film are as follows: the lair of Poindexter which contains a torturous "poison pool" was shot on the same soundstage as the original "Flipper" series in Miami and the floor was rolled back for the first time in years to accommodate the production. Not used to the opening in the floor, the crew members continually fell into the water during shooting. The part of the first nanny who exits the house screaming with her hair on fire is played by the assistant production coordinator who was the only person available and willing to get lit up at the time. The soundstage and offices were so busy due to the heavy production schedule that the production office actually occupied a small extra stage and the black and white opening of the film, which is a wrestling dream sequence had to be shot inside the same space, requiring the office staff to move all desks, phones, copiers and fax machines to the edges of the room and work quietly during filming. Look for wrestling legend George "The Animal" Steele (also in "Ed Wood") in the same scene, emoting the famous dialogue "Hey. You. Nice."

Review: Hulk Hogan should stick to wrestling, at least in the ring he doesn't have to speak. Hasn't he ever heard of the wise phrase "It is better to keep your mouth shut and raise doubt on your intelligence than it is to open it, and remove all doubt." The only thing that keeps this movie from being a total fop is the cute and intelligent performance of Madeline Zima, the true star of the show. We love you Maddie. -Kate

Review: i also couldn't find the same doghouse song and "rough stuff" by buster poindexter. and i know that more people were searching for it unluckily. well these songs are really cool, so i think in publishing music it is the biggest crime ever made.

Review: I gave this two stars for the two people who make this movie funny in my opinion. This movie is stupid because you see the same stuff these kids do in other movies. Home alone 1,2,3 and Dennis the menace spring to mind. I've owned this movie since I was 8 and to this day, I fast forward to the parts with Mother love and Sherman Hemsley. Mother love plays the sassy maid. You see why the kids didnt try to get rid of her. Sherman Hemsley plays Sean's old manager, Burt. These two really make the movie worth watching. Especially the scense when they are together. These kids needed to get they're [butted] kicked. Especially for what they did to the gym. They better thank God they didnt have my grandfather as they're father.

Summary: Mr.Nanny knows how to look after the kids!!
Review: Mr.Nanny is a great film for kids,and adults too! Hulk Hogan gives a heart-wrenching performance as Derek Nanny, a man mercilessly teased beacause of his comical surname. He becomes a figure of fun to both children and animals. In the most dramatic and moving scene of the film, Hulk in a moment of self-pity and depression 'clotheslines' a young boy who calls him a "no-good nanny who has a girl's haircut". Tragic indeed.
