Summary: Could have been a good movie, but...
Review: ...but the handling was totally inadequate. This ham-handed, lame "comedy" spawned two sequels. May God have mercy on us all...wait a minute, I guess he didn't! Any movie that abuses the talents of The Beach Boys (who sing the mediocre title song) deserves a poor rating. Jack Warden is a wonderful actor; how he got into this mess is beyond me. Don't buy this on VHS or DVD or Super 8 or Umatic or any video or film format unless you want to groan continuously for an hour and a half.

Summary: Dennis The Menace With A Mean Streak!
Review: A suburban, childless, middle-aged couple hope to save their ailing marriage by adopting a child. They end up with a kid nobody seems to want (he has been returned to the Catholic orphanage many times by folks who can't handle this "bundle of joy"). Immediately the 7 year-old monster goes to work, making life miserable for his new parents, even Grandpa. There is a kidnapping plot-line that leads to a few forced laughs. Overall this film is not thaaaaat funny, but it has a message: If you refuse to give up hope that there is good in every child, no matter how difficult it may appear to get to love him/her, then you will be pleasantly surprised. As long as there is life, there is hope, even for the most extreme of all problem children! As a 4th grade teacher, I can relate several such stories! The Theme song to this movie, done by The Beach Boys is well worth the price of the DVD, since the song is hopelessly out of print as a CD or Cassette.

Summary: too funny
Review: god lighten up folks. dont think you're destroying some kind of intellectual element of yourselves. this is so funny and is quite of the wall as it rejects a lot of the cheesy stereotypes of kids movies. i think people fail to realise this. touchdown, touchdown!!!!!

Summary: Rib tickling funny!!!
Review: GOOD GRAVY, PEOPLE!!!!! REPEAT AFTER ME... IT - IS - JUST - A - MOVIE!!!!!!! So this movie isn't OSCAR material BUT it is still fun for a good laugh and Junior does do stuff that in normal life may not be that funny but then again it is just a movie! Junior is so obnoxious you just have to laugh at some of his mischief... it has a bit of slapstick but is mainly focused on all the mischevious things that JUNIOR seems to fall into or rather start... the dialogue is rather humorous... 'how do you manage a buck'... to almost the Mr. Rogers like quality of John Ritter to the snotty attitude of Amy Yasbeck as Flo and the humorous attempt at a 'dangerous' con man by Michael Richards... This film is just cute and fun to watch... like I said, it has a good deal of funny dialogue and just enuff obnoxiousness that it isn't annoying... Rent it and give it a try....

Summary: So bad it's hilarious
Review: I am ashamed to admit it, but this movie appeals to the 3rd grader in me. It is a horrible movie, but that's what makes it so funny. Problem Child 2 is even worse, and even more funny.

Summary: Do not waste your time
Review: I bought this DVD on sale in K-Mart. After watching it for a first time I thru it straight to the garbage. The quality of the DVD was good, but the movie was really bad. It looks like they invested a lot of money to produce this movie. But it does not worth watching even one time. All jokes are silly, and the plot is stupid. The only funny moment was a scene with nuns after they gave away the problem child. Do not buy it. Do not rent it. It does not worth a dime.

Summary: HALARIOUS
Review: I gave it 3 stars. As far as the comedy it was 5 out of 5 stars, but then the plot and stuff is just a 1 out of 5. This movie is not serious, it is just wacky comedy. I laughed my head off. The bottom line is that it was entertaining.

Summary: Not as good as the last 2, but cool...
Review: I like the beginning the best, when they are first getting Junior, but all in all a pretty good, family flick. When my sisters and brothers discovered this movie, they watched it at least once a week. Only my brother was born yet when it was released, but I had seen it so I skipped but now I love watching it on TV. Again, though, the last two were much better. The ending to this was just..blah after awhile.

Summary: It's Too Short
Review: I liked the movie, I've seen it many times. But, there is always a problem, the movie ends too quickly. The movie is only an hour and, maybe, fifteen minutes? A movie should be one hour and thirty minutes/two hours. And the begining is too long. OK, so the boy goes from house to house because nobody wants him. I get the point. Does it really have to be five/ten minutes to tell us that the boy is a troublemaker? And what ever happened to the wife, Amy Yasbeck? For fifteen/twenty minutes, she's in a suitcase! I think you should see this movie but don't get your hopes up. It's not the best John Ritter movie. :(
