Rating: Summary: H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S! absolutely funny! I loved every second! Review: This isn't a review about the DVD content like most of my reviews are about but here it is:"Out Cold" is a laugh-out-loud funny comedy about what its like to have your mountain taken away. Naw, I'm kidding! Here it is really! A bunch of buddies have their little Alaskan town taken away from them when Lee "Six Million Dollar Man" Majors takes over the town and threatens to change it. But lots of hilarious antics follow. I won't say more. BUY THIS MOVIE NOW OR THE WRATH OF ME WILL COME DOWN UPON YOU, just kidding! Watch this movie, you will not be disappointed. Rating: Summary: so cool Review: This movie is better than the review claimed. I had so much fun with my little brother, we laughed like two little girls. I would have liked more snowboarding but the story and the guys were funny enough to keep my attention. The playboy bunny was hot, I wish they would have shown more flesh on that hooker...peace out"cold".

Rating: Summary: Another Boring Comedy Review: This movie was compared to "Animal House on Ice"......I don't think so, if anyone actually liked this movie they can't be much older than 15. The box office numbers speak the truth. Awful, just plain awful.
Rating: Summary: Outstanding Review: This was an incredible movie. The plot was enjoyable, the characters were well-developed. The music was truly amazing - don't look for it on the soundtrack though, none of the good ones are on it. ...

Rating: Summary: Fairly Funny Film with "No Brains, No Headache" Attitude Review: Though it was bombarded with harsh reviews from critics from all over the nation, and it vanished without any trace on box-office chart in November 2001, long before The Saltlake Olympic Games started, "Out Cold" is not as bad as you may think. At least, it doesn't try to pretend to be what it is not, and that's a great virtue, for a start. And some people think it is just all about snowboarding young boys and girls fooling around, loving, fighting, drinking beer, which is very true. The film has an "American Pie" or "Porkies" atomosphere, filled with a bunch of gags, visually and verbally. True, many of them are not funny; and true, some of them are what you think funny when you are drunk, but later regret of having said aloud before your friends. One of the characters (Jason London) is named Rick, and naturally, he encounters his old girl-friend (French, of course) in a bar in "Casablanca" fashion. And one of the character utters a line directly from "Gladiator," saying "At my signal, unleash the hell" before throwing snowballs. Oh, dear. For all these stupid things, or because of these stupid things, "Out Cold" becomes a likable comedy. Many of the characters are cardboard-made, but all are mildly pleasing, and among them Zach Galifianakis ("Corky Romano") stands out for his silly, silly behaviors. And these stupid gags should not diminish the great stunts played by real professional snowboarders like Devun Walsh, Tara Dakides, Rob Sluggo Boyce, and others. Their works well deserve the name of professionals. "Out Cold" is an agreeable comedy, if nothing more. But somehow I liked it. There are two in-jokes; one of them is that good-natured Barry who is in a wheelchair is played by real-life professional snowboarder Todd Richards. And his part's injury is not real. The other is that Inga, girl from Sweden, is played by Victoria Silvstedt, Miss Sweden of the year 1993, and Playboy Playmate of the year 1997. This is the last film of Lewis Arquette (as Papa Muntz), father of Rossanna, Patricia, Alexis, Richmond, and David.
Rating: Summary: Depends on the Consumer Review: Though the original reviews for this movie were really really bad, i think it all depends on the person watching it. I am a teenager and found this film to be extremely enjoyable. Adults would not appreciate this movie very much and thats why it got such bad reviews, the reviewers are most likely adults. I would also suggest this movie to the many snowboarders out there(which i am one of) this movie is HILARIOUS! It makes you want to move somewhere like Colorado or Alaska just to check out what it's really like to live in a town composed of mostly snoboarders. For those of you that are not snowboarders.... It will make you want to learn. Though I wouldnt recommend this film to adults, if u are an extremely bored teenager in need of some entertainment, this is the movie for you. And also watch it without ur parents in the room.
