Rating: Summary: great movie but still a big disapointment Review: The Brady Bunch Movie is genuinely funny! It satirizes the TV hit by keeping the Bradys in the 70s, while the rest of the world is in the 90s. All the plot elements you loved in the tv series are back, and played for big laughs: Cindy is the snoop, Bobby is Safety Monitor, Jan is the forgotten middle child, Peter's voice changes, Marcia gets hit on the nose, has two dates for the dance, and invites Davy Jones to school, and Greg is singer Johnny Bravo.
Shelly Long and Gary Cole are perfect as the Brady parents. Christopher Daniel Barnes is "far out" as rocker wanna-be Greg, and Christine Taylor is "groovy" as the would-be teen model Marcia. Jennifer Elise Cox really steals the show as poor ugly duckling Jan, and Michael McKean is hilarious as the Brady's neighbor.
Whether you were a fan of the TV show or not, you'll like the movie because it pokes fun at itself. It acknowledges that the Bradys were corny, and it laughs at itself. It's well-written and well-acted; a very funny movie you'll enjoy again and again.
Rating: Summary: Here's the story... Review: The Brady Bunch Movie is genuinely funny! It satirizes the TV hit by keeping the Bradys in the 70s, while the rest of the world is in the 90s. The Brady home may be sold for back taxes. This idea ties together the most famous moments from the show: Cindy is a snoop, Bobby is Safety Monitor, Jan is the forgotten middle child, Peter's voice changes, Marcia gets hit on the nose, has two dates for the dance, and invites Davy Jones to school, and Greg is Johnny Bravo. All the Bradys are exact look-alikes and impersonators. As the parents, Shelly Long and Gary Cole are perfect. Christopher Daniel Barnes is "far out" as rocker wanna-be Greg, and Christine Taylor is "groovy" as the would-be teen model Marcia. Jennifer Elise Cox really steals the show as poor ugly duckling Jan. Michael McKean is hilarious as the Brady's neighbor. Whether you were a fan of the TV show or not, you'll like the movie because it pokes fun at itself. They know that you know the Bradys were corny. It's well-written and well-acted; a very funny movie you'll enjoy again and again.
Rating: Summary: The Brady Bunch Movie is a GREAT Movie! Review: The Brady Bunch Movie was one of the best movies I have ever seen. The Brady Bunch Movie is definately the best Brady Bunch thing or movie or show ever. It is full of Funny things. I mean cindy has a lisp and their neighbor has no clue what she says ever so that is funny. Peter is going through puberty and his voice is HISTARICAL. Greg thinks that he is a Rock Star and entitles himself as Johny Brovo. Bobby is the only half normal one but he is one the safety patrol team at school. Jan wants to be someone that she is not and tries to not wear her glasses, has this voice that says she is stupid and she tries to disguise herslef as someone else. Marcia is so full of her self that it is well funny. And Mr and Mrs. Brady are very much still in love and sometimes it goes almost a little overboard. Their neighbors, The Ditmeyers, are also extremely funny. Mrs. Ditmeyer is a raging alchholic and she is always suffering from a hangover. Mr is a realtor that tries to persuade the Brady's to sell their house so a residential mini-mall can be built. I would recomend this movie to anyone that is a fan of the old Brady Bunch series and thank you for your time and I hope that I have been a little helpful!
Rating: Summary: Surprisingly funny Review: The movie is based on a flawed premise: What if the Bradys of the 1970s were confronted with the new world around them. The problem with that is the Brady's were abnormal for the 1970s as well. Still, once you accept the fact that time never moved from the Brady household, where the styles, vocabulary, attitudes are the same as they were from the reruns we all know too well, the movie works remarkably. I don't know how Shelley Long and Gary Cole rehearsed for this, but they have EVERYTHING about Carol and Mike Brady down pat. The kids do, too, for the most part, while the actress playing Marcia seems to do it the best. The actress playing Jan also recaptures Eve Plumb's delivery, which always seemed to suggest she was about to lose her breath. As for the story? It doesn't matter. There are a couple of plots here, the main one being the Bradys attempt to save their home. That's not important, anymore than the plot is in one of the "Road" movies. It's the extravaganza put on before your eyes which pays tribute to, while mocking its source at the same time. Series creator Sherwood Schwartz is responsible for this film, so it is legit. Even if you can't stand the TV show, this film should entertain you. However, the harder-to-find sequel is much better....

Rating: Summary: Groovy Movie! Review: This hilarious parody of the popular as well as nostalgic 1970's ABC television series "The Brady Bunch" is a must-see! All of the aspects of the show have been recreated, as well as made fun of in the movie. Watch for cameos by Barry Williams, Florence Henderson, Ann B. Davis, and 60's rock idol Davy Jones.
Rating: Summary: Classic Bradys Review: This is a show I grew up on. And I watched all 6 Brady kids grow up on TV as well, so to see them (well not all the original kids) on the big screen had to be a must see. Two decades later the Brady's still have a following, judging by the commercial success of this film and a whole new generation is introduced (though probably don't understand) the wholesome white bread image the Brady's portrayed. Stuck in their 70's world while everyone around them has progressed? to the cynical 1990's, Mike, Carol, Alice & the Brady kids face the problem of a disgusted neighbor (Michael McKean, Lenny from another 70's favorite sitcom, Lavern & Shirley)trying to get rid of the bell bottom wearing Bradys as neighbors. Fans of this show, will recognize many familiar themes from the Brady Bunch's successul sitcom run such as Greg as Johnny Bravo, Cindy's tattle tale, and my favorite Jan's envy of Marcia, Marcia, Marcia. By the way Marcia really looks like a twin Maureen McCormack (the original Marcia). Florence Henderson (the original Carol Brady makes a guest appearance as the grandmother and so does the original Greg (Barry Williams). But the new cast, who look nothing like the originals except for Marcia, do a great job of mocking the Brady sitcom I grew up watching.
Rating: Summary: Great movie...I wish it would hurry and go on DVD Review: This is one of the funniest television-show-based movies that I have ever seen. All of those wacky misadventures of the Brady family are shown in all their satiric glory here. Whether you love or hate the Brady Bunch's TV show, you will get a laugh out of this film. I especially love the portrayal of Jan and Marcia Brady done here. Check this one out. A+
Rating: Summary: Here's a story! Review: This movie is a very good movie! but it is not better than the Very Brady Sequel! the Movie is about (Gary Cole) Mike Brady is trying to get is house back! becuase they got a bill saying they have not paid their house taxes. so they have to ear 20,000 dollars withinone week if they dont earn 20,000 dollars the house will be oxgyen off! so the Brady Kids Marcia, Greg, Peter, Jan, Bobby, Cindy, are going to help too but their parents dont know! my favorite part is about when Marcia gets hit in the noise by a football!
