Rating: Summary: A funny ride Review: Chevy Chase is Clark Griswold, a middle class man who wants to take his family to Wally World. A bunch follies along the way and when they get their, the park is closed. See what they do. Rated R
Rating: Summary: Cool Review: I have watched this movie over 5,000,888 times! Go have so much fun watching it!
Rating: Summary: "Nothing but the best!" Review: This is a comedy classic that should be in everyone's video collection. Who could resist Chevy Chases's dim-witted character Clark. All the actor's compliment each other in this movie and there is never a moment when you are not laughing or shaking you head at the pathetic situations Clark gets his family into.
Rating: Summary: One of the funniest movies ever!! Review: Quite simply: This movie is hilarious ranks right up there with Stripes and Caddyshack. This movie from beginning to end is great.
Rating: Summary: Vacation will always be one of my all-time favorite movies.. Review: National Lampoon's Vacation will always be one of my favorite movies. I watched it 100 times when I was a kid, and now with the release on DVD, I can preserve it for years to come. The only drawback to this movie is that it only comes in Full-Screen format and no widescreen. The extras consist only of a trailer, and the overall quality of the picture isn't THAT much better than the VHS version. You also have to understand that this movie was made back in '83, so for its age, the DVD transfer looks pretty good. A Special Edition of this movie would be nice (with a widescreen version/deleted scenes/behind-the-scenes footage or anything else). Pick this one up anyway, it's worth the money!
Rating: Summary: very good comedy Review: This is the first 'vacation' movie - and an excellent one at that. Chevy Chase is the dad who wants it all and that leads to some great comedy.. I highly reccomend this movie, and all the other vacation films
Rating: Summary: Fall down funny. Review: Every moment of this movie is funny. Watch with the one you love. Chevy Chase is awesome
Rating: Summary: A Brilliant, Incredibly Funny, Satire Of The American Family Review: This movie cracks me up! I've seen numerous times, and can probably repeat the dialogue from start to finish by memory. Highlights include: Clark perfectly portraying the "bumbling" father, intent on giving his family the perfect family vacation; Randy Quaid as cousin Eddie, the poster boy against inbreeding; and Christie Brinkley as Clark's traveling infatuation. My favorite line, and I think it sums up the whole idea of the movie from Clark's point of view, is: "This isn't a vacation anymore . . . it's a QUEST, a quest for fun! I'm gonna have fun, and you're gonna have fun . . ." The fact that three sequels were made in its wake speaks highly of the movie itself, regardless of the quality of those sequels.
Rating: Summary: A Continuation to "1214 times" Review: Yes, I probably do hold the world record watching "VACATION" the most times EVER! It's true, I have seen this movie 1,214 times. I remember every last scene, props, characters, extras, names of extras, names of actors, every last word of the dialouge, and heck, I plan to watch it 1,000,000 times. It's movie I've seen for the last seven years Today I've seen it 20 times and even got fired from my job for watching this movie all day. Better go watch it again!!
Rating: Summary: The best comedy ever! Review: There's no comedy that will beat this one. this is without a doubt the best comedy made ever
