Summary: Mafia!
Review: A hilarious comedy from the makers of Airplane and The Naked Gun. Anthony (Jay Mohr) is from an Italian family in the Mafia. It tells the story about how his father (Lloyd Bridges in his last film) came to America and started his family. Anthony marries Diane (Christina Applegate) and goes out on a mission to find out who killed his father. Often funny, and a little confusing at points. Anthony's disturbed brother Joey is quite silly, putting in stupid remarks and nearly getting his whole family killed numerous times. All in all, this spoof on The Godfather is very likeable and humorous.

Summary: Seems to get Funnier with each Viewing
Review: I'll admit that I did not like this film the first time I saw it in the theatre. It started out at a snail's pace and seemed equally strained for laughter. However, there was a smattering of truly insightful comic genius throughout that made it mildly enjoyable. Then I watched it on video with a group of people. For some unknown reason I found myself laughing uncontrollably. As I watched the film again I then began to notice how much it followed the GODFATHER saga in parody. Once I began to realize what the filmmakers were doing it all started to take shape and made good comic sense. Not only did it follow the same inspirational format of AIRPLANE but it took the same approach with its audience: if this joke doesn't work for you we have plenty more lined up one after another and eventually you are going to start laughing. What's interesting is that you actually have to listen carefully to what is being said to really get the full effect of this well thought out comedy because it is much more than just a parody.

Review: Yep it is another one of those movies in the "Airplane" genera. When they do not try to hard some of the areas are funny. One really has to be in the mind set for this movie. If you have seen others like "Airplane" then this movie will not be as impressive as it could be. If this is your first foray in to the world of puns and parodies it holds its own.

Summary: people are so stupid
Review: i loved how this movie completely made a joke out of people's ignorance and stupidity, even if you havent seen the movies it's spoofing, it is hilarious to watch them make fun of how dumb people can really be. props to the writers, and although a bunch of people think i'm an idiot for saying this, but this is more than just a stupid comedy to watch when ur tired, because if you think about it, there really is a message.

Review: This movie is so silly...I wanted it so badly cause I didn't get to see it at the movies. Then when I saw it ..I was not pleased..It's a mix of Casino, the Godfather, and Goodfellas..Some parts are funny but it was too stupid for me to watch a second time..

Summary: Watch THE GODFATHER first
Review: I personally felt that this movie was very funny. To get the most out of this film I fell that you should have see THE GODFATHER, because many of the jokes parity that/those movie(s). In my opinion the funniest part is when the old man chases his grandson around the garden with a watermelon slice in his mouth! Its true that some of the jokes get kind of old...but hey...its all good.

Review: This is a stupid movie, but it's a wonderful, laugh out loud stupid movie, the good kind of stupid. You know like when you drop a brownie in sweet and sour sauce and notice it's not so bad, that kind of stupid. Mafia! is a spoof of so many movies, the most notable are Casino and The Godfather I and II. You can also find Forrest Gump, The Lost World, River Dance, and Scarface. It tells the story of the Cortino family, Don Cortino, who grew up in Salmonella, Anthony Cortino, who kills a man and has ends up in Vegas running a casino, and Joey Cortino who...uh...is a drug addict and "helps" Anthony with the casino. It has many other characters. A few things I don't like are things that other movies also do, farts and projectile vomiting. Mafia! is one of the few movies I smile after, maybe I just watch to many depressing movies, I don't know, but it's good for a lot of laughs.

Review: this was sucha funny movie!! it's not even all sick humor..but i was laughing my head off the whole time. i'm fourteen, and this was the funniest movie i've ever seen!!

Summary: Riverdance! Riverdance! Riverdance!
Review: Excellent movie! however, the only reason why I give it 4 stars istead of 5 is because like any of Jim Abraham's other movies, the humor in them tend to get a little dry every once in a while. Otherwise, this is an excellent movie! my favorite parody is the Riverdance one, I never thought a tap-dancing, 500 lbs white man would be so funny. Congratulations Mr. Abrahams!
