Rating: Summary: DVD- When In Rome Review: I really enjoyed it. I went out and bought it without even renting it first. But I liked it alot better then getting there. Marykate and Ashley Olsen are really great actors of course. Thats why I recommend this Dvd for anyone to watch.
Rating: Summary: they're getting better.... Review: I think that Mary-Kate and Ashley have really grown up and are starting to come into their own as actresses and people. I have, in the past, had quite a mouthful to say about the girls' seemingly nonstop parade of dumb and poorly made movies. With the wild and trendy names, the big-time stylish clothes, and guys galore, their films have not seemed to have much depth. But they're getting better--they really are. I have noticed that with their most recent TV series "So Little Time," as well as their new movie "When In Rome." You'll see a difference in the girls when you watch this movie. They're a lot more mature. Oh sure, they used those same ingredients from their other films for this one (the names Charli and Leila for their characters, the cool clothes, the cute boys), but Mary-Kate and Ashley also presented something that hasn't been seen as much before. They are shown as strong, well-adjusted young women with direction and good sense. Their acting style is changing for the better. They're getting older. They have, for the most part, given up that annoying giggling and screaming and have become more adult teenagers. This movie shows them as summer interns in Rome, enjoying the sights, the fun, the friends, and the guys. Sounds familiar, I know, but really this one is not as bad as some of their other movies and it is a huge improvement from their last movie "Getting There." I like the positive, more grown-up look of the Olsens, and I have a feeling that even if they stick to the same formula that they've been using, their movies are going to start getting much better. They're talented and beautiful girls who have the potential. So, all in all, this is the first Olsen movie in a long time that I truly recommend to you.
Rating: Summary: Mamma Mia !! Review: I totally think this movie is great :> to me it really is a down-to-earth movie and truly romantic. This my third time to watch mary-kate and ashley's movies and I really think that this should belong to every-bodys top ten . The movie focuses on the sisters first job and tying to succseed their likes on fashion , creating their own fashon line and photography. It's not really realistic but what do you excpect its a movie . I won't spol the whole plot for you but I really don't see why ashley didn't kiss ryan. But besides that I give this movie an A. if you decide to buy this movie (whch I really recommend ) I suggest you watch this movie with candel lights beside your couch or bed with all your lights closed and a cup of espresso coffee (but not instant you'll know why when you watch the movie ). This movie is truly a taste of italy. definatly a two thumbs up ^^ ! as they say in italy it's belle (beautiful)
Rating: Summary: Brilliant! Review: I'm not really sure what I expected when I bought this movie. I thought it was going to be another typically foreign Olsen movie, go away, meet some boys, fall in love, but I didn't expect it to be so good. We got to see the Olsen twins as two teenage girls not just concentrating on boys and their love-lifes but their internships. I loved the chemistry Mary-Kate and Ashley had on screen and the storyline was not as sketchy as previous films! I have to say the best Olsen movie so far!!!! Brilliant!
Rating: Summary: Hmmm... Review: I've definately seen better movies than this one. I mean, the whole plot was, well, totally exciting! I would love to go to Rome, and I think the Olson twins are truly talented! I liked the movie a lot, but like I said, I've seen better movies, such as The Lord Of the Rings: The Two Towers, but this is one of the best MK & A movies yet! By the way, did you ever notice that Leila (or was it Charli?!) never kissed? That's a bonus!
Rating: Summary: pass the dramamine! Review: I've never writen a review before but this "movie" moved me to act. One star is too good for this pre-teen dribble. My 7 y/o daughter loved this movie but I developed sea sickness. Not only is the story line unbearable but camera bobs side to side, up and down as if the camera man is drunk. Did Mary-Kate and Ashley take artistic control of this movie intending to be modern day Hitchcocks? The fake accents are worse than Kevin Costner's in Robin Hood. Who would admit to writing this..someone who needed the money, has reads the articles in vogue, and graduated from middle school.
Rating: Summary: THE STINK BOMB OF THE CENTURY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: I've seen most of Mary-kate and Ashley's movies so I have to say this isn't one of the best. Winning London, Passport to Paris, Our Lips Are Sealed, The Challenge were much better then this movie. This movie is missing a lot and I mean a lot of action but I could say it would be kinda fun to watch but compare to the others it a downer.
Rating: Summary: Great for young girls Review: My daughters (4 and 7) loved this movie. I could not sit through it. The whole premise of the movie is so unrealistic that I couldn't get past the idea that two interns from America are invited to stay the weekend at the company's President's house and it just gets worse from there. Luckily, the Olsen twins aren't singing in this one!
