Rating: Summary: Funny movie with excellent Sinbad Review: First Kid is a very funny movie that benefits greatly from Sinbad's performance. Secret Service agent Sam Simms is trying to get bumped up to the president but instead is assigned to Luke, the president's son. At first, Luke is your typical stuck-up annoying kid, but soon Simms and Luke begin to bond and have a legitimate friendship. Along the way there are certain problems but in the end all things turn out well. There are some very funny bits here with Sinbad including his running collection of colorful ties, teaching Luke how to dance, and many more. This is a good movie with a great part for Sinbad. Sinbad plays Agent Sam Simms, the secret service agent assigned to the first kid. He is great throughout and easily the best part of the movie. Brock Pierce is also good as Luke Davenport, the First Kid who struggles to lead a normal life in the spotlight. The movie also stars Blake Boyd, Timothy Busfield, Robert Gillaume, Art LaFleur, and Zachary Ty Bryan. The DVD offers no extras, but the movie is worth a watch even with the lousy DVD. For a funny movie with a great performance by Sinbad, check out First Kid!

Rating: Summary: My review of First Kid Review: First Kid is the story of about a boy about 13 years old who gets an new agent to protect him. After his old agent (his father is the presient of the United States) gives trouble and winds up getting fired. As the movie opens, Luke Davenenport (Brock Pierce) is about to start school, and is going back to school shopping even though he doesn't want to. His agent (Timothy Busfield) who has been assigned to protect him rushes him into a dressing room. And the first lady Linda Davenport (Lisa Eichhorn) doesn't like his actions, so she decides to get a new agent for Luke. And his new agent is Sam Simms (Sinbad). Luke doesn't get to see his parents very much because his parents (being the president and first lady) is aways out traveling around the United States and doesn't bring along on the trips. Even if they are gone about a month.
Rating: Summary: Good flick! Review: First Kid is yet another Sinbad laugh-riot. It's not as funny as Houseguest, but First Kid is nevertheless worth a look. Sinbad stars as a Secret Service agent assigned to look after the Luke, the juvenile son of the president of the United States. Sinbad attends grammar school with Luke, to ensure the Luke's safety. Anyway, several of the other kids pick on Luke because they think Luke is a snobby punk. E.g., in one of the scenes, Zachary Ty Bryan (from Home Improvement) shot a spitball through a straw, hitting Luke in the head. However, Sinbad got even with Zachary - he later shot a huge spitball (about as big as a mini-basketball) through a huge tube at Zachary. It hit Zachary in the face, nearly knocking him out of his seat! I almost lost it when I watched that scene! It was gut-bustingly funny! That scene alone is worth the price of this DVD!

Rating: Summary: First Class Movie Review: First Kid was an excellent movie: Funny, entertaining and with a good moral storyline as well. Sinbad was hilarious and Brock Pierce, as usual, displayed great acting abilities. I recommend it for the whole family.

Rating: Summary: Great Family Movie, Full of laughs and Fun Review: Great Movie, with many belly laughs and fun for the whole family.
Rating: Summary: So-so Review: Honestly, not a best effort by either Disney or Sinbad. A semi-cute movie intended for an audience of 10-12 year olds who like comedies and enjoy other Disney flicks.
Rating: Summary: Sinbad is sinfully good in great Disney flick! Review: I am sure we were all dubious when we learned that the comic stylings of Sinbad were to be put on parade in what seemed like a formulaic Disney live action film. This has never been Disney's strong suit, as such films as 'No Deposit No Return' testify to. However, First Kid turned out to be a delightful romp through the lives of America's first family. This is a great movie for families, and in a world where violence and strong languange seem 'flagrante vous etu fei', isn't this enough to warrant purchasing this awesome film? The answer, surprisingly, is perhaps. I give it five stars, despite the obvious four stars I gave it before I wrote this. Thank you and God Bless America.
