Summary: funny comedy, nice dvd
Review: This is a funny movie I enjoyed it when I saw it at the movies last June and have been waiting for the dvd ever since. It is light funny entertainment that the family can watch together unlike so many movies today. The dvd is nice it has two commentries one with schendier and the othe with luke greenfield the directior which is very informative, havent watched the scheinder one but am sure it will be hillirious just like david spades for Joe Dirt. There are two short documentries featurettes one about nine minutes and one about twenty three minutes that feature intreveiws with the cast and crew which are funny and fun to watch. If there is a complaint about the dvd it's the deleted footage there are a few very short deleted scenes that really add nothing to the movie, Where is the R rated mailbox and goat footage everybody is talking about on the dvd. I wish they would have made this in two versions like they did for saving silverman and then we could have seen all the trimed footage that is probally hillarious. But that is a small complaint buy this dvd and am sure you will enjoy it like I did.

Summary: Great movie, don't know where this bad rap is coming from
Review: Here's the lowdown on the movie:

CAST: Stars Rob Schneider (Big Daddy, Saturday Night Live) and Colleen Haskell (Survivor)

PLOT: When Marvin (Rob's charater) gets into a car crash, he is in quick need of organs and blood to save his life. But when he is back oh his feet, he finds out his half brained doctor put different animal parts into him. He later meets up with Colleen's charater and they fall in love but the animal parts come to haunt him as he can't stop do beastly things like eat fish and running like a cheetah. That's all I'll tell you, you'll have to get the movie to know the rest.

WHY GET IT?: It is a extremely funny movie, I've watched it ten times and still laugh at all the jokes. Schneider and Haskell are both great in it. It's a must have.

Summary: 43 minutes 21 seconds
Review: I made the unfortunate error of renting this piece of trash of a movie. I was able to watch exactly 43 minutes and 21 seconds before I had to turn it off--and the only reason I watched that long was because I wanted to see just how stupid it could get. It gets pretty stupid. Everything about this movie is stupid, the plot, the over-'acting', the script, etc...

I cannot believe these people allowed their good names to be associated with this film. Here's to hoping to see Rob "Oscar Bait" Schneider in a better movie soon!!!

PS If you are 8-13, you might find the potty humor in this movie funny.

Summary: Very, very, very funny.
Review: Once in a while everyone gets in the mood to turn their brain off for an hour or two and have some fun. If that is
what you are in the mood for, The Animal is the perfect movie.
This movie made me laugh hysterically from start to finish.
Rent it, buy it, you'll see what I am talking about.

Summary: Better than you'd think
Review: Critics have pretty much universally trashed all movies written by/starring SNL alumni from the early '90s, but 'The Animal' sits up there with 'Billy Madison' and 'Happy Gilmore' as a solidly absurdist comedy. While not a classic, there's enough sustained "smart" dumb humor to make it definitely worthwhile. I've seen too many movies that catered towards the Lowest Common Denominator at every turn. While this one was definitely sold as such, it's much more a case of dumb humor for smart people.

And that Colleen is too darn cute. Her awkward performance was saved in the editing (watch as no dialogue shots stay on her for too long... if at all), but the camera definitely loves her.

Summary: Rob is the MAN!
Review: Rob Scrneider is one funny guy. This is another great comedy. If you liked Duece Bigalo, you will love this flick!!

Summary: Great movie
Review: Although many people did not go to this movie in the theaters because of bad reviews, I decided that I wanted to go. My brother and I were the only two in the theater, which was good. This was the first movie I have laughed out loud at, and boy did I laugh hard.

Summary: Best Movie Ever
Review: I went and saw this movie and i was amazed at how funny it was! it was the best movie i've ever seen. My favorite part is where Adam Sandler has a cameo. It is hillarious. You need to buy this movie when it comes out. I give it a perfect 5 stars.

Summary: Funny Movie
Review: This is a truly funny movie. Although not everyone will agree, if you are looking for a good laugh, check this out. Schneider's funniest since his role as announcer in "Necessary Roughness."

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The Entire Cast is Great
Review: If you love films that are comedies you should see "The Animal." Rob might really be part animal (just joking). Colleen showed herself to be a really good actress. The cameos of Norm McDonald and Adam Sandler were great. I left the theater feeling that I had got my money's worth.
