Rating: Summary: Stuck on Stuck On You Review: This Movie was hiliarious. I saw it 4 times in theaters and have pre-ordered it. It has so many lughs and a whole bunch of fun. It was a very good movie, could've had better casting but i don't care!
Rating: Summary: Funnyist Movie Ever Review: I loved Stuck on You. I think that it is one of the best movies I have ever seen. Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear are a dynamic duo as Bob and Walt, two brothers stuck together. They have to deal with the fact that Walt played by Greg Kinnear wants to be an actor and go to Hollywood when Bob played by Matt Damon has panic attacks and wants to stay a cook on Martha's Vineyard. With a host of supporting charactors this film is not to be missed
Rating: Summary: Huh? Review: This movie is just plain terrible! A waste of talent! Whay are Matt Damen, Eva Mendez, that other guy and Cher doing in this movie? Maybe they wanted to try and do something different and do a bad comedy for once. Or maybe, they wanted to left alone by the reporters, so they knowingly did a bad film. I don't know, this movie does have some cheap laughs, but other than that none. This movie only got to stars because of Cher and Eva Mendez. Hopefully Eva will find a starring role someday andbe taken seriously, she has the look, and more impotantly the talent and potntial to be a great actress. Bad movie. This movie is very crude some parts even cruel(yes, cruel)bad waste of money and time.
Rating: Summary: New meaning for "buddy system" Review: The Farrelly brothers have a knack for producing films (SHALLOW HAL, DUMB AND DUMBER, KINGPIN) about awkward subjects in a manner such that they'd be taken to task for political incorrectness if the results weren't so funny. In STUCK ON YOU, Bo (Matt Damon) and Walt (Greg Kinnear) are the owners of a Martha's Vineyard burger joint in which they also do the cooking. This doesn't sound like the basis for much of a plot except that Bo and Walt are twins conjoined above the hip. They share a liver, most of which belongs to Bo - a situation that has so far caused them to reject the surgical separation that would perhaps endanger Walt's life. In any case, they'd decided long ago that their condition wouldn't hold them back. So, when Walt announces that he wants to go to Hollywood and become an actor, Bo decides to go along (so to speak). Of apparent benefit to Bo is that his internet girlfriend, May (Wen Yann Shih), lives in Los Angeles. There are problems though. Bo has acute stage fright, and he's never even told May that he has a brother. Walt, however, firmly believes that everything will work out. He even suggests that Bo can be his stunt double so he, Walt the Star, won't get hurt. While watching this clever and highly entertaining comedy, I was impressed by the amount of movement choreography and rehearsal that must have been necessary for Damon and Kinnear to act in concert in some very intricate ways. This is apparent as we watch the twins cook-up six burgers in 3 minutes to meet their restaurant's standing promise ("Food in 3 minutes, or it's free!"), play baseball, ice hockey, and football, slow dance with dates, and beat up on a a group of harassers. Then there's the bit when they get into a fist fight with each other that's worth the price of admission. Several screen personalities appear as themselves, most notably Cher and Meryl Streep. The former pokes great fun at her real life public persona. In my opinion, Cher is to be admired and applauded for evidently not taking herself too, too seriously. I can't imagine most of Tinseltown's prima donnas taking similar swipes at their overblown images. Awhile ago, I saw CALENDAR GIRLS, to which I granted five stars simply because it was unpretentious, pure entertainment that left me completely satisfied and with a grin on my face. At the risk of cheapening the 5-star rating, I'm awarding STUCK ON YOU the same. It's not a great film and likely won't be nominated for any Oscars but, you know, great good fun in any form shouldn't be over-analyzed by snobbish reviewing. Life is too short.
Rating: Summary: Very Enjoyable Review: I'm a huge fan of Peter & Bobby Farrelly (except for Osmosis Jones that was trash) and I was satisfied with this new movie. Bob and Walt Tenor(Matt Damon & Greg Kinnear) are two brothers who own a restraunt in Marthas Vineyard and are happy with their life of being conjoined twins, but when Walt wants to be an actor and go to Hollywood, things change a little bit. After going to Hollywood and finding no luck,Walt is spotted by Cher who has a contract with a show that she hates called "Honey and the Beaze" and hires Walt as the co-star in order to drop ratings, however her plan backfires and the ratings just go up.However,Bob doesn't enjoy the Hollywood lifestyle and would rather be back at Marthas Vineyard at the restraunt. But by now Walt has become a star and "Honey and the Beaze" is a hit.The movie which is funny but not terrific also has some heart, the movie is not just a comedy but also a look at a bond between two brothers.Although Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear obviously look nothing alike they are cast perfectly in the role of Bob and Walt.I really enjoyed the film and I hope you do as well.
Rating: Summary: another hilarious farrelly brothers movie Review: all the farrelly brothers movies are great, except shallow hal. this movie shows the real bond between brothers. i know if i was stuck to one of my brothers, it would be hell. theyd scare me with there hip hop and there yo-yo-yo stuff. this is a funny movie but not the best farrelly brothers movie but it is still a great movie. you know the movie where could take your girlfriend to you know like that but anyways its great.
Rating: Summary: CHER IS THE BEST ACTOR IN THE WHOLE MOVIE!!!! Review: This is a great movie. I just saw it today. Cher is awesome in the movie actually also the best one in the movie. Cher plays herself just as her darkside. Cher is hilarious in the movie!!! Cher is a playing an actress in the movie her hopes her show will get bad rating so she co stars Walt Tenor a conjoined twin with Bob Tenor. Cher's show "Honey and The Beaze" actually get good ratings! Yet all of the fans despises her and likes Walt who plays Beaze. When Cher goes out to give autographs there is a bunch of kids and one of the kids say "Aw sh** its just Cher." Then another kid says "Hey lady bring out the Beaze." Then there is a uproar of kids saying "We want Beaze We want Beaze" Cher is shocked at what she hears. Huh Huh sorry I rambled on about Cher sorry I'm a big fan well anyway its a great movie. You will love it I garantee it. You will have many laughs don't miss out! Love, Stuck on Cher
Rating: Summary: Real fun - if you enjoy torture Review: Stuck on You is to the Farrelly Brothers as Little Nicky is to Adam Sandler. Can you say garbage? I can. The concept of conjoined twins whose actors just happen to possess a 10 years age difference was pretty funny - for the first 5 minutes. It's like a SNL skit gone bad that just will not, although I kept hoping it would, end. I left before the movie was over - and didn't come back. If you must see it, do yourself a favor and wait for video - it won't be long.
Rating: Summary: Don't wait for the video! Review: I have kids and don't see many movies so when I actually do the movie I pick had better be good! "Stuck On You" did not disappoint me; it was extreemly funny as expected, but it was so much more than a comedy! Matt Damon is one of the industries most underrated actors and he really shows his range and depth here. The humor is outrageous but it is balanced by the complexity of the characters and their relationships. It was satisfying on so many levels. Go see it,
Rating: Summary: Holy Cow! It was GREAT! Review: Wow this film was fun - and I have to say, I wasn't expecting to like it very much. More suprising was that along with the laughter, (which had me wiping my eyes at a few times), was a great story, substantial and sympathetic characters and nearly brilliant acting. What could have been a stupid, shallow film was deep and sweet but also outrageous and a bit shocking. Perfect for older teenagers and college students, parents and thirty-somethings, everyone and anyone who wants to forget about life for a while, laugh a lot and feel good. I am glad a friend made me see this movie and I urge you to go too.
