Summary: At least he knows the truth!!!
Review: I had just recently watched this movie, that I had only rented because someone had mentioned it. Boy was i glad i did. The movie keeps you glued to the screen wondering what will happen next. This movie is highly addictive if you are not careful. Although i hated, well, upset with the ending, it gives at least a closure to the setting and atmosphere. It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't hit so close to home with many people who have watched it. At least we found out about Gabriel. Some of us are unfortunate to have Gabriel, but sad for us, a straight one. All in all, one of the best films i have seeen in a good while.!!!!!

Summary: Cute and Witty and very well done
Review: I remembered seeing ads for this film while walking around P-Town, MA. (Majorly gay area of Cape Cod and Mass. for people who didn't know) And took a chance on this little film. In was very well done with an excellent script and directing the film is very entertaining. For a cute little flick that requires no thought processing check this one "out".

Summary: Romantic escapism with a lot of charm.
Review: "Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss" provides for the viewer romantic escapism with a lot of originality and charm. Whether you are gay, bi or straight, Tommy O'Haver's first feature will leave you wanting more. My only criticism is that O'Haver did not further explore the relationship between Peter (the under-used Mark Anderson) and Fernando. This would have provided the viewer with another interesting subplot that would have complimented the Billy/Gabriel relationship. Newcomer Anderson (who, by the way, is an accomplished stage actor)shows a great deal of promise and makes the most of his all-too-brief scene with Hayes. Catch him in O'Haver's critically acclaimed "Two: A Dysfunctional Romance" and you'll be treated to his versatility as the original "Billy". No doubt this talented young actor has a promising future in film acting. Watch for him!! This is a highly entertaining original work and deserves all of its plaudits. if you didn't catch it in theatres, then treat yourself to "Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss" tonight!

Summary: Paula Nechak is wrong.
Review: I would like to disagree with most of what Paula Nechak stated in her review. I think this movie is significant. It addresses some real issues in gay culture and about being a gay man, such as the beauty hierarchy, gay genetics, theories of sexuality, and gay spirituality. As a woman, she may not be in tune with such as issues. Admittedly the movie is not a dissertation or a documentary: it is entertainment. Therefore, the discussion is simple and light. It doesn't examine darker issues such as violence, hate, discrimination, and AIDS, or delve deeply into its topics. It's a light-hearted romp. It was easy to identify with Billy and long for the unobtainable Gabriel. I thought it was artful and well filmed. Just an aside, it's offensive to dismiss Brad Rowe as a Brad Pitt lookalike. I'm sure Mr. Rowe would like to be taken seriously as an actor in his own right, and not be characterized as just another pretty face. It's a good movie.

Summary: A pleasent surprise, of what could have been a bad movie.
Review: When I first saw Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss, I was afraid that it would fall into the category of another useless cliche about two gay men in love, but it didn't. What it did do was showcase a wounderful love story full of many twist and turns that leaves the viewer with a contented feeling. Also, it showcased the talents of the two male lead actors, and the writing brillance of the author. If you are looking for a good gay movie that will make you both laugh and cry, look no further.

Summary: Absolutely LOVED it!!
Review: Within the first 10 minutes of Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss, I HAD to buy it!The plot itself is simple, but the presentation is impeccable! Watch for the dream sequences, they are hilarious. Thankfully, this movie is done in widescreen format...finally we can see movies the way they are supposed to be seen. To sum it up, it is a funny, witty and very charming gay comedy.

Summary: Becareful Consumers!!!
Review: Although the movie itself was a wonderful gay- romance, it's digitally formatted in a widescreen/letterbox version ONLY. And if you are a consumer who HATES widescreen/letterbox formats like myself, then please take this as words of caution and please becareful consumers!!!
