Summary: Eric, you are a genius!
Review: I'm a world-class cynic, but this movie reminds me to keep my mind and heart open.

Summary: A Definite Must-See!
Review: Just the best of the best. I have seen this movie at least 30 times and it never fails to make me laugh, cry, and clap (even when I am by myself!). It is a wonderful blend of talent, the story, the cast, the score, and everything else you watch and love a movie for. Peter O'toole is wonderful, as are David Ogden Stiers, Virginia Madsen, and Vincent Spano. I have not seen a movie before or since that has had the impact on me that Creator has had. Some things just can't be put into words, but must be seen to be appreciated. This movie is one such thing.

Summary: Top 10 Romantic Comedy!
Review: O'Toole and Spanos work brilliantly together in this off-beat mad-science comedy. Hemingway is out of her league but gives a great effort. A great rainy day feel good flick.

Summary: A sensitive, funny and frankly beautiful movie...
Review: Peter O'Toole for me can do no wrong. (I should say at this point that I am an expatriate Brit.) I have seen the movie conservatively about 16 times. Mariel is superb, Vincent and Virginia are marvellous and O'Toole is magnificent. Even David Ogden Stiers' performance is richly drawn. The story is essentially about love - both letting go and fiercely hanging on. The lines from the movie that remain indelibly etched in my mind are "Nothing in this world of any importance is ever accomplished without passion" and "Tell Sid, 'The Big Picture.'" Do yourself a favor, own this movie and watch it with your significant other.

Summary: Peter O'Toole at his greatest!
Review: Peter O'Toole is one of my favorite actors & this is (I think) his best movie. In my mind, it is the greatest movie that nobody has ever heard of.

It is a tale about a doctor (O'Toole) who wants to clone his dead wife. However, the movie is about a lot more than that. He and his graduate assistant learn about love, friendship and the "big picture." It is kind of a cross between a drama and a comedy. Quite a deep movie that will make you laugh and leave you in tears as the final credits roll up the screen. Anyone who likes either Peter O'Toole or great intellectual movies (or both) will love this one. A fine flick!

Summary: This film is excellent!
Review: Peter O'Toole is very charming and sincere as the widower scientist trying to recreate his wife. Spanos and Madsen moved me to tears with their beautiful love affair. The entire cast is absolutely perfect. The story is totally original and very well written. I would like to thank the people who made this movie from the bottom of my heart! It gives me hope and fills me with love for the human spirit. Can I give it 10 stars, Amazon? PLEASE!?

Summary: It's too bad
Review: That when Peter O'Toole dies everyone will clamor how great a movie this was. This really is a good movie with a good plot.

The one thing about this movie that keeps making me watching it over and over which no one else has mentioned is the beautiful piano piece by Sylvester Levay. It is so haunting and simple and adds so much to the whole movie. If I could get just the music on Cd I would be happy.

Summary: Most People Grow Tomatoes, Not Harry Wolper!
Review: This has got to be one of the best kept secrets of modern films. I believe it was a HBO movie and never played in the theaters, but don't let this discourage you from seeing it. This is a warm, intellectually slapstick and romantic comedy that will touch you in ways no other film can. With innocence and joy, it captures one of the most beautiful love scenes I have ever seen on screen. Peter O'Toole is wonderful. One of his best scenes was when O'Toole (having no lines), walks along the beach with his young assistant after the death of the boy's father. I could say more, but there's no need. The reviews speak for themselves. This is a keeper. Oh! Keep an open for Opie's dad. Do you believe in life on other planets? Very cute!

Summary: GREAT FILM
Review: This is frankly, one of the best movies I have ever seen. The story idea is original, the romance isn't to sappy and Peter O'Toole, in my opinion, provides his best performance ever. A must see for everybody!
