Summary: HUH?
Review: Did I read someone say that Rosanna Arquette had an astounding performance? Now it seems that Bradley Tobin was watching a completely different movie, because in the Joe dirt I saw, Rosanna Arquette didnt do much of a job at all, BECAUSE SHE ISN'T IN THE MOVIE!!! This movie was pretty bad, nad isn't even worth the 2 stars I gave it!

Summary: Better Than Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
Review: I was supprised at how enjoyable this movie was. To peraphrase the riddler in Batman Forever, "not many movies are a summer and a winter, but this movie pulls it off nicely". This gets added to my list of movies that are far better than crouching tiger hidden dragon (I no longer capitalize this tittle, because when grouped together there is nothing proper about those nouns). Why? Because I feel that Crouching Tiger was the most overated movie ever and if I had the power to erase it from the conciousness of humanity I would. I'd also like to point out that all other movies ever written or produced are of higher quality better than crouching tiger hidden dragon, including Joe Dirt. Compared to the characters of crouching tiger, Spade's persona of Mr.Dirt is an Urbane delight and when Joe Dirt Flies it is explained by the fact that he is riding in a giant ballon, not by virtue of the fact that he is from China.
To sum up I liked Joe dirt, but found crouching tiger to be the worst movie ever made (that includes all home movie...like with UFO footage and stuff). Therefore if you liked crouching tiger you will love, love, love Joe dirt. Give it a chance.

Summary: What?
Review: Did I actually read a review here by same lamer trying to compare this movie to The Shawshank Redemption? WHAT? Who in their right mind compares a comedy to a drama anyways?

If you want some laughs... I thought this was a greater movie than The Shawshank Redemption! I guess it's just me, but i didn't find Shawshank to be a barrel of laughs kind of flick! ;P

Summary: Also, better than I thought.
Review: This movie was recommended to me by my boss, and I admit to being skeptical at first. (I'm not a big fan of sophmoric humor in general). =-)

However, despite the rather blatant 'sophmoric' bits, and obligatory potty humor, I found myself engrossed and amused despite myself.

Joe is such an endearing character, that to see him triumph over his tormentors was quite satisfying. I would recommend this for anyone who likes tongue and cheek humor, and can ignore the sophmoric bits.

Summary: Another great one from the Happy Madison Crew!!!!
Review: This was so hilarious. I rented it at first but thought it was so good I had to buy it! David Spade (Joe Dirt) is the coolest guy in this movie, I love him so much. It had me in fits of laughter. If you like any Adam Sandler movies or Deuce Biggalo etc. this movies for you. Don't listen to the negatives, if you like that kind of humour you'll luv the trailer trash, skynyrd listning, mullet wearing Joe Dirt (I no I do!!!). Chow xxx

Summary: EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY! There is a BOMB in your VCR!
Review: NOTHING to say about this pathetic attempt. It is just plain bad. The only redeeming feature was that Christopher Walken is ten times as funny as David Spade! Every scene is truly apalling and the Joe Dirt character is annoying and TOO stupid to be a lead. The Joe Dirt character must have been directly stolen from the janitor character from UHF, and that guy was WAY funnier than Joe Dirt! Let me get this out of my system: JOE DIRT IS NOT FUNNY. PERIOD, END OF STORY.

I was AMAZED when I came to this page to review this movie, of how many positive reviews this got. WWWHHHYYYYY?????????

I would be a savior ... to whoever reading this review that hasn't seen this movie to say SAVE YOURSELF AND WATCH A CLASSIC LIKE THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION!

Summary: Joe Dirt is Dirt-y, Watch Out Parents!
Review: I thought this movie was going to be a hilarious adventure of a man who was a little backward. It was rated PG-13, so I invited my step-son over to watch it. Big mistake! The movie is an adventure, but one filled with a pornographic nature. I was shocked! There was a scene where Joe Dirt tells a woman "Show me your boobies!" and when she doesn't want to, he insinuates that he will blow up a bomb if she doesn't. Then, as all the men that are around gawk at her, she hesiantly takes off her shirt and they show part of her breast! How humiliating for her character and for any woman who was watching it! He also ends up having sex with his someone who might be his sister and the moaning and groaning of their sex is made very audible. This is a crude, rude, degrading movie and I strongly caution all parents!

Summary: This movie could have been cleaned up a little
Review: When I first saw the coming attractions for this movie, it looked hilarious. This was a funny movie, but it could have been much funnier. David Spade plays a person who was left at the Grand Canyon when he was eight. The plot revolves around his story of how he made it in life without parents. There are many adventures told by Dirt on what he experienced while looking for his parents.

Spade tries hard to be funny, but most of his jokes go nowhere. Dennis Miller plays a radio DJ and is as annoying as ever. There is a good story underneath all the gags, but it is overshadowed by too many bad jokes. This could have been much better if the cleaned up the plot more and if more jokes would have hit. Not a bad movie, but it could have been much better.

Summary: Worst movie ever by David Spade? (...)
Review: (...)

David Spade is so funny in this movie. The only thing I don't like about it is that Dennis Miller is in it. But then again, I knew he was in it before I went!! So it wasn't any big deal.

Summary: Yea It's the Same Thing, That's Why It's Good
Review: People that say it is predictable and the same old thing don't watch very many movies. If you can't tell from the movie poster or previews that it is the same thing then you are stupid. But that's not the point. The point is is that there are some VERY funny parts and a VERY hot leading lady. Mix in some cool outakes and a pretty decent DVD menu and you've got another solid SNL alumni movie. To all those people that say it's the same old thing then I have a clue for you: stop watching them, and we won't have to read your same old review. DANG!
