Summary: Eclectic, excellent, one-of-a-kind!
Review: I was struck by the variety of musical styles, including opera, that fit into the movie! This CD is just a small sampling of the excellence of Still Breathing!

Summary: As moving as the movie
Review: If you haven't seen "Still Breathing", this is a collection of beautiful arrangements of music; classical, jazz, R&R and original. There isn't a wasted moment from the opening piano to the closing song.

But if you haven't seen the movie, you're missing one of the most wonderful love stories ever made; a romantic comedy which speaks to the soul.

If you _have_ seen the movie, this CD will seduce you as the story seduced you, and give you the same emotional ride whenever you listen. The original music will evoke the sorrows and joys of Roz and Fletcher, and "Foggy Highway" will recall the scene with the slide projector and Joanna Going's body, that most sensual of non-nude scenes.

Summary: hmmm, Brendan Fraser
Review: Interesting movie! I enjoyed watching this movie. It's introspective, old fashioned, flirty, entertaining, heart tugging, funny, and romantic. I think I'll watch it again this weekend!

Summary: This GREAT cd lifts and moves you on a path of reflection.
Review: It is hard to believe how the musical arrangement reaches into your heart and mind and totally transposes you to a reflection of your life in all phases. It was and is a wonderful feeling of inspiration. Paul Mills is a genius. All the performers are wonderful and very apropos. The best investment on a cd ever made.

Summary: Filmed in San Antonio
Review: It's always a surprise to find a movie actually filmed in Texas.
As a Texan I'm proud of this film because it suggests that not everyone in the state is a loudmouth blowhard. It also shows
that you don't find mountains in the background in most parts of
Texas.

This is certainly an atypical Brendan Frasier film, but it shows his acting ability. He seems to be a cross between Jimmy Stewart and Hugh Grant with a gentle and humerous philosophy of life, and a Don Johnson stubble. Perhaps the lifestyle is a little too laid-back to be credible but it's a kick to see the hero as a musician/street who sometimes plays in a band with his grandmother on tuba.

It is a sweet, good-hearted film, which accentuates the crass personality that is the starting place for our heroine, Goins.

I ran across this film on cable and my wife loved it so much that I had to buy both the soundtrack and the DVD. It remains my own personal favorite Brendan Frasier film, and I'm not particularly a fan of "love stories". However, the enjoyment of picking out locations in San Antonio, the unique music, and the endearing performances break down my reserves about the genre.

Summary: My Husband Found Me.
Review: My Husband is from Texas and I'm from N.C. The way My husband and I met still dumb founds me. He kept telling me about how he could see me as his wife. Then I saw this movie and heard the sound track and fell for this Texan. I would really like to find this sound track for him. He is really home sick and would love to surprise him.

Summary: Genius
Review: Paul Mills wrote the original score for this picture, and it's a stunner. Then on top of it, a perfect collection of other composers and artists' recordings were added. I liked the music when I saw the film - hearing the soundtrack complete knocked me for a loop. Especially notable: Renee Geyer's Foggy Highway. The soundtrack can be described in one word - haunting.

Buy it.
