Review: This movie is excellent. Most of the movie was filmed at my next-door neighbors farm across town. I remember watching the movie being filmed when i was younger. It is a great movie and I highly recommend it for people of all ages.

Review: This movie warms your heart, feeds your mind and leaves you feeling like there is hope for humanity. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Steve Martin is awesome in this film.

Summary: Disappointing
Review: This movie was disappointing, especially since I normally like Steve Martin. The movie had some touching and funny moments, but all in all it was entirely unrealistic, and at times over-dramatic to the point of being corny. There was also a blatant stereotype of wealthy southerners, and the entire legal aspect of the movie was unbelievable to the point of becoming ridiculous. The child actress was noticeably less than convincing.Still, Steve Martin delivers a decent performance, and the film is "charming" in a strange sort of way. But this it definitely not a quality film.

Summary: WONDERFUL FILM! but......
Review: Wonderful film, never seen Steve Martin act before! I can't believe he wrote AND produced AND starred in this touching dramedy. The only thing I thought was horrible was the girl in it, she was horrible! worst ever! If it weren't for her this film would get a five star rating for sure.
