Review: Just cause the movie is PG-13 doesnt mean its going to be bad. The first 2 were written by the wayne brothers this one is written by david zucker and co-written by kevin smith. both are great writters and will make this move great,plus alot more people we be able to watch. They do have ... jokes and stuff but they r more like jokes only certian people will get they won be as obvious. Too many ... and ... jokes would make he move boring cause its already been done and the characters are older so they cant keep acting like teenagers.

Summary: Still doing good
Review: I saw the movie tonight at a sneak preview and I thought it was hilarious. Even though the Wayans brothers did not return I still enjoyed it very much and didn't feel like something was missing. The film was definitely better than the second installment, but doesn't beat the original.There are quite a bit of very funny moments. My personal favorite involved a Michael Jackson incident and I'm not talking about what the preview showed of Michael in the preview. That scene only gets funnier. There is also another line that Charlie Sheen delievers questioning his wife's ability to use her... donut. You'll get it when you see it. The movie was very funny, but there were just a couple of things that I didn't like. There is a scene involving trying to bring the dead back to life and I don't think that Leslie Nielson belonged in the movie. He seemed a little tacked on. Those are my only two complaints about the movie. Oh yeah, and the movie was only about one hour and fifteen minutes. And I'm not exaggerating. For those complaining about the change in rating, well you're not missing much. There is still a lot of sexual humor(and is still very funny) and they do mutter one f word somewhere near the beginning (and it is used hilariously). So, be there when it opens this Friday. It'll make you want another Scary Movie to appear at the theater in a year or two.

Summary: It's slipping in its old age.
Review: Nothing different here. Whereas SCARY MOVIE parodied modern teen horror slashers, and SCARY MOVIE 2 mocked more classic numbers, this one showcases all of those supernatural thrillers (such as THE MATRIX, THE RING, SIGNS, etc.) On the controversy surrounding the PG-13 rating, I didn't really notice any difference in the crudeness of said content, but nevertheless, the jokes seemed watered down. The film had its moments (the aliens were the highlight of the whole flick), but it wasn't as croud-pleasing as film two. I had a few chuckles here and there, but there were some moments when the whole audience laughed at a joke and I'd be left out in the cold. The jokes this time around revolve more around events than the characters, who seem two-dimensional and separate from the extremely basic story.
Considering I saw the sneak preview and I got in free, it was an alright way to spend 80 minutes, but I'm not a huge fan of gross-out movies, especially movies that have nothing going for them besides spoofing other flicks. This was probably the second best in the series, but overall, I think they should stop right around now, before they drive this thing into the ground. As much as I love sequels, there's no point in carrying on a traditionally pointless movie.

Summary: Laugh Riot
Review: I wondered when I watched the trailer for Scary Movie 3 why I was laughing so hard. Sure I enjoyed the first two films, but they seemed... amateurish. Yeah, I know the entire series is nothing but crass, low-brow humor, but that trailer was SO funny. I found myself on the Internet Movie Database (http://www.imdb.com) trying to figure it out. Much to my surprise, I found David Zucker (one of the three masterminds behind Airplane!) directing and writing AND Kevin Smith producing and writing the film. Zounds! I don't know why or how the Wayans brothers aren't involved, but frankly it's for the better. The movie is absolutely hilarious. Oh sure, there are jokes so obvious they are like seeing a jumbo jet landing in your front yard, but there are also enough surprises that catch you off guard to more than make up for that. The "plot" purees The Ring, Signs and Eight Mile into a mismatch of parody and slap-stick well enough that you wish the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams would get back together and come up with one more. This is mostly for two scenes that sustain laughs so long they actually hurt. Don't get me wrong. This nothing more than stupid, sophomoric humor, but when in the hands of talented comedic film makers, it becomes a film that demands repeated viewings much like Airplane! and Top Secret. In other words, a laugh riot.

Summary: Gonna be great
Review: Someone said eirlier that it sucks that they've made this a PG-13 deal, but it's still looks like it's gonna be as good as, if not better than, the first. And i know it'll be better than the second. As for what needs to be taken out, yes there'll be less raunchy sex jokes and nudity, but don't forget that most of the nudity in the last two films, was male nudity. So don't get too stressed about that fact that they're toning it down.

Review: I AM A BIG FAN OF THE SCARY MOVIE FILMS. I HAVE BOTH SCARY MOVIE AND SCARY MOVIE ON DVD. I JUST SAW THE PREVIEW OF SCARY MOVIE 3 WHILE I WAS WATCHING THE BASEBALL PLAYOFFS THE OTHER NIGHT AND I LOOKED REALLY GREAT. WHAT IS REALLY SURPRISING IS THAT ANNA FARIS DIDN'T DYE HER HAIR IN THIS MOVIE. I AM GOING TO SEE IT ON OCT. 24. ALSO I AM SURPRISED THAT THEY ARE HAVING A 4TH AND 5TH MOVIE. I THOUGHT THEY WOULD STOP AFTER THE THIRD MOVIE TO MAKE IT A TRILOGY. AS LONG AS THERE WILL BE ANNA FARIS IN THE CAST I'LL GO SEE IT.

Summary: Want a good laugh?
Review: I thought this movie relied too much on just two movies: "Signs" and "The Ring". Having not seen "Signs", there were a lot of references to the movie that I missed. For me, the funniest part of the movie was the rap contest. We were just laughing the whole way through it. I don't know if anyone caught the reference to the mid-90's cop drama "Homicide: Life on the Streets", particularly the Subway episode. It was when Denise Richards was pinned between the truck and the tree. If you want a good laugh and appreciate some dumb humor, see this movie!

Summary: "Sex, violence and the weather"
Review: Loosely based on the summer blockbuster movies The Ring and Signs, and strangely enough, the Eminem film, 8 Mile, Scary Movie 3 provides more of the toilet humour and juvenile laughs that we have come to expect from this series. Unfortunately though, this installment is pretty light on the laughs. The first two movies were actually funny and clever, and although they were unashamedly audacious in their tackiness, there was a kind of enduring honesty to them that left the viewer chuckling for more. When watching Scary Movie 3, the viewer is more likely to be laughing in embarrassment, and wondering why Hollywood could malign and continue a franchise that has become so obviously tired. If you've seen Signs or The Ring, you'll have a pretty good idea of the plot of Scary Movie 3. Like in the previous Scary Movies, lead actress Anna Faris is back as Cindy Campbell. This time, she's dropped into the middle of a combination alien invasion/ghost story. After watching a killer video tape, she has only seven days to live, and, in that time, she has to stop a deranged ghost living in a well, fall in love with a white, self-doubting rapper named George played by a bumbling Simon Rex, and help the President - a tired, embarrassed looking Leslie Nielsen - stymie an invasion by aliens who have a fondness for the corn field of a minister-turned-farmer, played by the desperate Charlie Sheen. Along the way, Denise Richards, Queen Latifa, and Camryn Manhem, Simon Cowell, and the big-breasted Pamela Anderson pop in for a visit. Anna Faris is her usual perky, big-eyed self, Charlie Sheen appears somewhat ashamed to be in this rubbish, and Simon Rex is probably the unlikeliest and most unlikable love interest one will ever see in a movie. Then there's the sad case of 77-year old Leslie Nielsen, as a bumbling lame-duck president who spends his limited screen time trying to re-create the kind of comedic bumbling that became his meat-and-potatoes when he re-invigorated his career in the '80s. Now, this routine is tired, repetitious, and devoid of energy - which is a pretty good way to describe the movie as a whole. Absent for this third installment are the Wayans Brothers who are replaced by David Zucker and his scribe-for-hire, Pat Proft, which is unfortunate because it is the Wayans Brothers gift for irreverent humour, that made the first two so funny, even though they were bordering on the offensive. There are about three or four genuine laughs in Scary Movie 3, and a lot of failed jokes in between. The comedy is lame and flaccid with characters that are either constantly falling over or bumping into things and there's a child that is continually hit by a car and thrown out a window. There's also some gross-out material and various indignities are performed on a corpse. The weaving together of the primary three storylines is done awkwardly, and the narrative is fractured and hard to follow. With so much of the humor failing, it becomes increasingly obvious that there's not much of a storyline to fall back on, and that makes Scary Movie 3 a gigantic waste of time and almost unwatchable.
