Review: I don't know who reviewed this movie for Amazon, but they obviously have not been in love in a very long time. This movie is an ultimate favourite of mine. The characters are very believable, especially for people in love, and Michael Landes role as a gay man trying to tell his father that he is gay is not cliched, it is life!

Dream for an Insomniac is one of my favourite movies because of its believable characters and situations that can be easily related to life. I love the way they put quotations into the movie and have the movie set in a coffee house, because i think that would be my ideal life - surrounded by friends and having good conversations.

If you are looking for a good romantic movie to see on a date, see Dream for an Insomniac!

Review: This movie may not be the best but it's the greatest. I long to be this woman,(Skye) she only wants what she wants and doesn't settle. "Settle for anything and you're doomed." It fits so much.

Review: Really, the only thing going for this movie are all the nice quotes interspersed throughout the movie.

In any romantic comedy, the maxim is that the romantic leads must have appeal in some way to the viewer. Ione Sky's character does not. While she's supposed to be a literate, depressive, yet idealistic romantic, she comes off simply as a self-absorbed, self-centered drama queen. Moreover, the backstory involving the reason for her isnomnia is completely unconvincing as none of it is reflected in her character.

I simply found the romance ludicrious and rather disturbing in its conclusion. You do not want to see these two get together. The other characters are rote Gen-X cliches and the use of black and white in the beginning of the movie unfortunatedly highlights the all-around weak acting.

Review: Dream for an Insomniac is an amazing movie. The actors are brilliant and are to be commended. It's a wonderful touching story that we all wish would come true. The use of quotes from various sources only adds to the magnificense of an already great movie. It's a definite must-see.

Review: Applause to Tiffanie DeBartolo for this well written and directed film. I was incredibly glued to this movie from the opening credits to the very end! The actors become the characters so easily and do a wonderful job of making you feel like you are a customer in the coffee shop. I have not seen Mackenzie Astin more wonderful than in this film, as well as some great acting from the other actors in this film. The use of the Frank Sinatra memorabilia was beautiful. This film is definately going in my collection under "Favorites"!

Review: If I had to pick a movie that best described my life story, I would have to say Dream for an Insomniac. It was a witty, thoughtful, intense, and captivating movie about dreams. We all have them and some of us settle for less than we had imagined. Skye and Astin have defineate chemistry in this movie and they allow the audience to believe in fate, destiny, and the pursuit of happiness. I have already seen this movie three times and will defineately see it again. I honestly don't do that either!!!

Review: I think that this is definitely one of the best movies. It's profound in this utterly simple way and it's wonderful. I love the way the movie starts out in black and white and turns to color once the two main characters meet. It's very dramatic. "Dream..." is a definite must-see for all those who haven't.
