Summary: One of the most under-rated musicals ever
Review: Unfortunately I never got to see Michael Crawford as P.T. Barnum until somebody lent me their video three weeks ago and it is brilliant. I've seen the show which toured in England about four years ago with British comedian/actor Andrew O'Connor who was tremendous and was a great ad-libber but with the Michael Crawford version because it was based in the West End of London and not touring they had lots more stunts and things going on and it was a more complete show. I drove past the Victoria Theatre in London and saw the "Barnum" sign loads of times but unfortunately I wasn't a theatre go-er then. The video is excellent, great family entertainment and probably for this show will never be equaled.
